This hotel is seriously the best! Kazuki San made our trip absolutely amazing. He was so helpful with everything. He is nice and talkative. His family was super friendly too, which made us feel so welcome. We loved every minute of our stay. It truly felt magical, like something out of a dream. Thanks for the gift and photos. This hotel's art gallery is seriously impressive. They've got some amazing pieces on display. And breakfast in the cafe feels great. We can't wait to come back again. Highly recommend this place to everyone!

I would say the onsen is the nice surprise for us! We use it day and night. Location is excellent!

The staff is VERY polite and careful, the place is clean and fancy, the onsen is big and pretty. The restaurant is amazing, a really delicious food.

Date of Stay: January 24-25 Number of Guests/Purpose: 2 people, Sightseeing Overall Rating: B Pros: * The room was clean and looked exactly like the photos. * Wi-Fi was available. * Check-in was smooth. * Rental service for boots and umbrellas was provided. * Came with tickets for touring Kinosaki Onsen, and the room had a convenient onsen set for taking out. * There are private baths within the building. Cons: * The room felt a bit old. * At night, hotel staff were loudly arguing outside the annex, which left a bad impression. Location/Surroundings: * About a 10-minute walk from the station. It felt a bit of a walk, but being in the center of the onsen town made access to all hot springs excellent. Host's Service: * Friendly and good service. Summary: Considering the price and location, it was good. However, it's not somewhere I'd definitely want to stay again, but rather I'd be interested in trying other ryokans next time.

It's really great. The service, food and rooms are very cost-effective. The Japanese service is meticulous and it has thought of everything you can think of. The kaiseki cuisine is also quite ceremonial. This is not the most expensive hotel I have stayed in in Japan, but it is definitely the most satisfactory one.

Please book this hotel if you go to Kinosaki Onsen! The staff was really amazing. They were all super friendly and nice and always put so much effort in making our stay enjoyable. Big thanks to Kairi for explaining everything so well and always being patient with us. Also thanks to Tomoki for the great service. We loved our stay there so much we would love to come back here again when we visit Japan again! Also loved the town itsself and all the Onsen. The hotel itsself also gives you public Onsen as well as private ones that you can book in advance. They were amazing too. The food included in our Halfboard was also amazing! Loved everything here! Garden view from our room was so relaxing and great as well!

This is the fourth time I have stayed here. When you come to Kinosaki, you must stay at Tajimaya. The warm hospitality from the proprietress and the staff, as well as the rich accommodation and two meals, were very satisfying. Please note that each room can only accommodate one child under 6 years old

We opted for half board. Everything is good. Like the onsen town.

I stayed here for one night with my husband and our 9-year-old daughter, and we loved our visit. The hotel was accommodating and allowed us to store our luggage as we arrived early. Our room was very clean, the staff were attentive, and we could tell they wanted us to have a nice stay. The location was perfect - set back on a quiet street but right in the middle of all the onsens and shopping. We opted for the crab dinner, and it was an absolute feast. We ate for hours and still couldn't finish everything. They asked if we wanted to keep it for breakfast (which, of course, we did), so they served it in the morning along with the breakfast they planned. It was wonderful. They have a small onsen in the building, which was nice because the three of us could enjoy one bath together before going to the gender-separated onsens in town. I highly recommend staying here for a lovely and authentic Japanese experience.
