Amazing
CCrystal MThis was a truly satisfying stay. Check-in was at 6:00, but I arrived at 5:00 and asked if I could check in, and they allowed me to check in an hour early. I was very impressed by the staff's friendliness, and the separate service area was the best part. I bought a lot of cakes from Seongsimdang and was able to store them all there. I stayed there for two nights and three days, and it was incredibly comfortable. They even lent me a **Ming headset. The staff were friendly and clean, and I think I'll definitely be back again. It's the best.

CCarlo Baldonido⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ A Perfect Stay at Lotte City Hotel Daejeon From the moment I arrived at Lotte City Hotel Daejeon, I knew I was in for an exceptional experience. The check-in process was seamless and warm, with staff who were not only efficient but genuinely welcoming. Their attention to detail made me feel immediately cared for. My room was spotless, modern, and thoughtfully designed, offering a beautiful view of the surrounding city. The bed was incredibly comfortable, and the room amenities—ranging from high-quality toiletries to a well-stocked minibar—made the stay feel luxurious and convenient. One of the highlights was the breakfast buffet. The selection was impressive, with both Korean and international options, all fresh and beautifully presented. It was the perfect way to start each day. The hotel’s location is another huge plus—quiet enough for restful nights, yet close to notable attractions, the Expo Park, and convenient transportation hubs. Whether for business or leisure, it’s an ideal base in Daejeon. What truly sets Lotte City Hotel Daejeon apart is the service. Every staff member I interacted with was courteous, professional, and eager to help. They went above and beyond to ensure my stay was flawless. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Daejeon. It exceeded my expectations in every way, and I will absolutely return on my next trip!

AAmyWutlTerrible service for the reception staff named ***** *** if I had not miss spelled it. She was very rude and impatient when I asked her for card renewal. She used “You don’t understand…” “You must…” ( with horrible facial expressions). Don’t understand how the hotel manager selected and trained this stuff. She lacks the basic sense of being sincere and helpful. I can tell directly if this person is sincerely care about others or treat people differently in public or private( between me and her). Other people I met in Korean are warm and loving except for this lady. She ruined my day. She ruined my perfect impression of Daejeon. Hope she will be treated the exact same way when she is travelling and I definitely don’t want to see her or talk to her again. Lastly, apologise for my unpleasant review to the rest staff working in the hotel who are really kind and supportive!

EErika_XJYThe location is excellent, not far from the subway and airport bus stop, both within a roughly ten-minute walk. The room is very spacious; two 26-inch suitcases can be opened simultaneously with plenty of space left over. Housekeeping replenishes two bottles of mineral water daily. If you don't need cleaning, you can hang the 'Do Not Disturb' sign, and the staff will leave fresh towels and water outside your door for replacement. A special shout-out to the bathroom lighting! It's white light, not overhead, which is fantastic for applying makeup as you can see your true reflection. The hotel includes breakfast, with both Korean and Western options. While the variety isn't huge, the food tastes good, and the menu changes slightly every day. Overall, it's a hotel with great value for money, and I would definitely choose to stay here again.

330suituixiudenongchangzhuI brought my students to Chungnam National University in Korea, and the king room they booked for us was really great. There are so many good restaurants around the hotel. Plus, the hotel even gave us complimentary fried chicken and beer 🍺!

GGuest Userrequested for quiet room - was put on 2nd floor which is odd since the room is right above the bsck entrance and carparks. Endless beeping sounds, drunks at night. Room was in the corner, which is the probably the quietest on the floor but the level negates it all. Wasnt quiet enough, kept waking up. Room 212 is to be avoided.  Appreciate the cooking equipment, which isnt as grimy and in as poor condition as the usual. Dishwashing liquid and scouring pad provided. Ondol is warm. Too many built in cabinets which goes unused and can smell a little musty.  Stayed 9 days, found a type of insect that resembles a very long ant with a forked behind and multiple sections. Encountered 5 of them in the bathroom, all on different days. I squished them so it isn't the same one.  There's bug spray in the room, Idk if it works on them. Got a picture of the 3rd day wormie for your viewing fun...

GGuest UserA good hotel for a short stay. Breakfast is included. The menu is basic, so you won't overeat. The interior is nice, but a bit dated. There's a washing machine in the room. Overall, it's a four-star, because for this price you can get worse.

JJeroen PotWe booked this hotel as it was close to the hot springs and metro station (at walking distance). The hotel personnel was very friendly. The owner told us there was not much interesting to do in Daejeon, but we have enjoyed 3 days in the city, at the aquarium, skyroad and the hot springs. And there are more tourist attractions around which we did not visit. The hotel room was large and very nice, although being with a 4 person family, we needed two additional mattresses on the floor. A suggestion for improvement would be to have two double beds in the room, as there is plenty of space. Laundry service was free.

GGuest UserWe didn’t request for housekeeping and the door sign showing “not to disturb”, however when we came back shortly from market walk, we noticed the room was replenished and bedding was changed, we didn’t locked our luggage and left our local currency in the backpack as we didn’t expect any housekeeping. As we were rushing out for the itinerary and we didn’t check anything missing. After checked out only noticed our country currency left in my backpack which kept in the wardrobe was missing. Lesson learned, careful on the security of this hotel. Don’t leave any valuable things in the room.

GGirlMeetsWorldThis has been one of the best budget stays I've had in Korea. I would highly recommend this motel. The location was great, 5 minutes walking to the bus terminal and many shops and restaurants nearby. Also, a 7 Eleven just around the corner. The reception area looks so nice and cozy. There's a communal microwave, hot and cold water dispenser, a coffee maker, an ice machine, and a small seating area. The room itself was so big and spacious. Big and comfortable bed with 2 pillows each! Big bathroom with a very nice bathtub and shower. There's a small couch and coffee table. Everything was very clean and working perfectly. It was quiet and pretty sound proof. The price was so affordable for what you get. Had a great stay here.
