Amazing
YYuyuyuyuanOverseas rooms don't come with slippers, toothpaste, or toothbrushes, so you'll need to bring your own. Water isn't provided in the room either; you have to get it from the hallway, so it's a good idea to bring your own cup or water bottle. Other than that, it's pretty decent. It's within walking distance to the terminal, and the front desk staff are quite friendly. There's also a restaurant upstairs. The bed was comfortable, and I slept well. This place is better than the Novotel at Auckland Airport.

GGuest UserThis is a fantastic hotel. Due to flight issues, I checked in late at night, but the lobby was incredibly warm and comfortable, with a beautiful and pleasant atmosphere. The environment is truly outstanding. It faces a large park, offering lovely views, and the transportation is convenient as it's right in the city center and very close to the airport. The lobby fireplace was cozy, and the front desk staff were incredibly welcoming, treating guests like family. The room was very clean and tidy, hygienic, and comfortable. It was spacious, and the bedding was excellent – clean and very comfortable to use. The bathroom was great, and the room overall was very spacious, neat, bright, and grand. Everything felt relatively new. I would definitely stay here again next time. It offers great value for money.

Ffairy-smileThe location is superb, directly opposite the cathedral. It's a shame, however, that the cathedral is still undergoing renovations and seems several years away from completion. On the bright side, the beautiful Cardboard Cathedral is within easy walking distance. Just outside the entrance, there's a beautiful library with a cafe – a perfect spot for both intellectual nourishment and a coffee or snack. Riverside Market is also very close, easily walkable, and features a wide array of restaurants and bars. While New World supermarket and Chemist Warehouse are a bit further away, they are still within a manageable walking distance, and we opted to walk there. The staff were exceptionally warm and professional. The rooms were very spacious, clean, and the bathrooms featured a convenient wet/dry separation. Luggage storage was also available. Overall, this was, without a doubt, the best value-for-money hotel we stayed at during our entire South Island New Zealand trip.

GGuest UserI stayed at this hotel for three nights in Christchurch. Overall, it maintained Hilton's usual high standards and was generally satisfying. **Ambiance:** The hotel is beautiful, with vibrant flowers in the garden. Enjoying breakfast in the restaurant with a view of the garden outside the window was a real pleasure. The hotel is also very close to the city center. On a sunny day, it was lovely to walk to the city center, visit the Botanic Gardens, the Arts Centre, the Riverside Market, and the Cardboard Cathedral, all while strolling along the Avon River. I managed to check off many attractions without even realizing it. **Cleanliness:** Housekeeping was prompt, and the room was clean and tidy. I didn't find any dirty spots. **Facilities:** The hotel seems to be a bit old, so the facilities aren't brand new, but they are sufficient and well-equipped, including a hairdryer, iron, kettle, refrigerator, and air conditioning – enough for a short stay. The room's balcony was also nice, overlooking a lawn, perfect for some peaceful relaxation. The only drawback was the poor soundproofing in the room. The room next door frequently opened and closed their door, sometimes more than ten times between 10 PM and 1 AM, and at one point, it was every ten minutes or so. Each time, it made a huge noise that felt like the bed was shaking, waking me up multiple times. I even started to wonder if countless people were staying next door. This kind of thing is really down to luck, but better sound insulation would have made for a less disturbing stay. **Service:** The front desk staff were very polite and enthusiastic during both check-in and check-out, which left a great impression. We were given two bottles of water and two warm cookies upon check-in, which was a thoughtful touch. The only thing that left a bad taste in my mouth was the suspected subtle racial discrimination from the restaurant's reception staff. I stayed here for three days and saw many other Chinese tourists. Not once did I hear the staff say goodbye or thank you to us when we left the restaurant. They would just stand there, pretending not to see us, but then smile and thank the Caucasian guests walking behind us. This happened every single time for three days, and they pretended not to see other Chinese guests leaving too. I have to wonder, is this how the hotel trains its staff? To provide different service based on race? These staff members, who were older and positioned at the restaurant entrance for greeting and guiding, were not the young, busy servers inside the restaurant, who did a great job. Based on this subtle differential treatment, I can only give the service three stars, no more.

GGuest UserIt was a rainy and windy New Year's Eve in Christchurch. After a long struggle picking up the rental car at the airport in the rain, we cautiously drove for half an hour to reach the hotel and park. The black gentleman at the front desk was very friendly and welcoming. The hotel's inner courtyard is beautiful. The room decor, as mentioned in other reviews, is indeed a bit dated, but the room itself is quite spacious. We braved the stormy weather to walk back and forth to Amazonita for our New Year's Eve dinner, and my pants and socks were completely soaked when we returned. To my surprise, there was a washer-dryer combo unit, complete with two small packets of laundry detergent and instructions taped next to it. After getting Doubao to translate how to use the machine, I washed all my wet clothes. They came out warm and dry, ready to wear the next day.

XXiaofengxinyuexiThe service was great, and the front desk even had staff who spoke Chinese, which was a nice bonus. The location was also good. However, there were a couple of drawbacks. First, there's a tram outside the room that gets busy early in the morning, and the noise was a bit loud. Second, after checking out, I tried to use the restroom on the first floor, but realized you need a room key to exit, so I had to wait for someone to let me out.

YYuanqiqiuThe location is excellent, just a 10-15 minute walk from the airport. McDonald's, KFC, and a supermarket are all within a 5-minute walk, and the Antarctic Centre is also right next door. I stayed in a female dorm capsule bed. It was clean, and the shared bathrooms were decent. There's also a common area with a kitchen, including shared refrigerators, microwaves, pots, pans, and cutlery. You can relax on the sofas or hammocks. My bunk had USB ports and power outlets, and there's a locker with a combination lock underneath. For this price and environment, it's a perfect score.
