TTruefoodie93Good Hotel. Clean and nice. We stayed here for two nights and got the room with a balcony and able to see the palace at night. Friendly reception. Totally recommended to stay over Sintra for those who don’t want a hectic early day trip from Lisbon.

GGuest UserTruely historic small hotel (26 rooms) in historic building. Nothing really what you can call luxury 2025, it was maybe bacl 2000. Location next to the Palace of Queluz makes it a bit more interesting though it's remote from both Lisboa and Sintra (which municiplay this place belongs to, city tax is ”only” 2€/Person max for 3 nights!). All rooms are upstairs, the standard rooms face the cobbed street (you can hardly hear with closed windows), big bathroom with tub, electricity bit strange, illumination bit old fashiioned. Due to the small capacity also the buffet breakfast ist limited in choice though high quality. Nespresso and filer coffee (better than those vending machines). Free parking outside is a plus, restaurants are in walking distance! In a nutshell: nice place but the ”normal” rates around 150€ are BY FAR too much in my eyes - our 75€ incl.4€ city tax was just okay (missing extras like spa, pool etc.)

GGuest UserThe hotel is very comfortable and comfortable and is very clean and comfortable. The bed is perhaps a little ”soft” but because I prefer the rigidest facilities. Breakfast varies and abundant, with the products that were integrated once finished, served in a very beautiful space. 二二水vvHotel location is very good, very close to Sintra train station ~ convenient connection to Sintra! The front desk staff was also very enthusiastic, giving us a detailed explanation of the local gameplay ~ there is a small balcony next to the restaurant!

ZZiobobboLovely small hotel with attention to detail in Sintra. Only stayed one night but found the staff friendly and the facilities of high quality. A small fridge would have been handy but I notice these are not common in Portugal. Close to transport, attractions, restaurants and shopping, this hotel would be a good choice for anyone visiting the area.

VVincenzaThe room is actually a fun mini-apartment with room, bathroom and kitchen with good rooms available. You would need some maintenance work (the shower door doesn't close well, walls a little ruined, unclean blind bath filter ...) General cleaning is good, it's a sin only for the heavy frit chest inside (we didn't understand if someone had cooked or came out of the outside, while keeping the windows open hasn't gone away). The host welcomed us with great gentleness speaking well in English. The location is very comfortable to reach the center area walking, but it is absolutely unrecommended to reach it in car. A few days before arrival we received a mail from LovelyStay.com that informed us that the historic center is forbidden to tourist cars and suggested a nearby way to parking. The road is narrow and with very few parkings on the road and the imposing on the navigator is not available. After more than 3 hours of searching for a parking with a kilometre-code we left the car in the station and paid a taxi to get to the facility (there is also the bus that arrives in the main square). Of course, traffic congestion is not the fault of those who manage the structure, but I believe that it is necessary to better inform those who need to reach it to avoid disturbances. Although we have left Lisbon in advance, we missed the entry to Quinta de Regaleira, which we unfortunately failed to see, and also lost the ticket money for two people.

GGuest UserA family resort full of kids, probably suitable for their needs, not ours, unfortunately. Not really the best experience for a couple trying to enjoy their stay. Both inside and outside pool full of children, ended up not swimming at all. There was only a buffet dinner available at the restaurant or some small snacks at the bar. We paid 15eur each for a ”caesar” salad, with the ingredients: lettuce, bread crutons, some burned bacon, chicken resembling a prebaked chicken from Lidl unfrosted from the freezer, and caesar sauce. Breakfast had some more choices, and gladly some fresh fruits, but no fresh juices like in all other hotels during our stay in Portugal, only the cheapest orange juice you can probably get. Even though the staff was very nice, the resort is quite run down looking and rooms very basic. Probably an ok stay for a family with smaller kids, couples try somewhere else.
