Review for langkawi lagoon. I’m writing to express my extreme disappointment with my recent stay. My elderly parents and I were looking forward to a relaxing break, but the room was unacceptable. The issues we encountered include: - Non‑functional kitchen sink - Stuck blind - Dirty fridge - No shower cap or smart door lock - Broken chair on the balcony - Construction‑site view instead of the promised garden view - No housekeeping service and no fresh towels - Ironing equipment promised but only an ironing board was provided I believe the hotel used pictures of Ombak Villa in its advertising, which misled us. The room I booked even showed Ombak Villa’s balcony, which I thought would be ours. This deception was shocking. When we raised our concerns at reception, the staff were unhelpful. Despite chasing the hotel personally and through trip.com too, we have received no response at all.

Overall cleaning of the room and bathroom need to improve. But the price is very affordable with 2 family rooms below ringgit 1200 for 3 nights. Swimming pools is clean and big . Kids like it.

I recently stayed at Lagoon Residents. The place is quiet and away from the main beach, which makes it calm and peaceful. However, I was disappointed with the cleanliness and service quality. The property needs better maintenance, and the staff didn’t seem polite or attentive, possibly due to being short-staffed. Overall, it has potential because of its serene location, but improvement in cleanliness and hospitality is much needed.

We stayed here for three nights and the hotel served us well enough for its price. A good location with easy taxi pick up location. Staff were incredibly attentive upon request and really welcoming. Our only down would be the hotel is in need of a renovation, weak lock on balcony door, rooms had very visibly just been surfaced cleaned, a little dusty, and our room wasn’t cleaned the whole time with no new towels the whole trip. However it was a very affordable stay and safe location so would recommend to those on a budget.

The place is dirty, and the toilet can not flush the water. It is dark inside the room. Full of insects. The window can not be open. It lacks of basic things. I wouldn't recommend it unless if they pay you

Very laid back. Felt so calm and at peace. The view from the room was to die for.

Good hotel with nice view

We were stunned by the cleanliness of our given room. The room has old furniture. Luckily we were given a change of room after the complaints.

The hotel was old if the the bed was broken and in the middle of night we was so scared and it was easier to fix but one of the shoulder sleep in the sofa.

Place was nice and I enjoyed my stay but the exterior pictures are a bit misleading. I thought all rooms at this hotel were the villas over the water but they’re not. Look at the room type you want before booking. I ended up staying at a hotel when I thought I would be staying in one of these villas

Hotel was very near to airport. Hotel is quite rundown, not well maintained. Hardly see any guests in the hotel. Room is not of hotel standard of hygiene and cleanliness. Balcony is dirty and have rust. Sofa looks dirty, dare not sit on it. Cups were dirty and sticky. Toilet door was faulty too. Water heater has hot water sometimes. Staff was friendly though and helpful too.

We really didn’t expect what we faced there. Our check in time was at 3pm but when we reached there at 6pm they tried to hand us a different room which we didn’t even book. Later when we realised entering the room we asked for an explanation. The receptionist realised that she got caught and tried to explain that our room wasn’t free that’s why they gave us separate room. However they made us wait again and shifted to a new room. But that room was also no way a premium sea view chalet that I paid for. The Day was already over and ruined. We didn’t want to argue anymore as it wouldn’t work and we had plans to go out. So disappointing and untrustworthy.

We have been given a terrible room with all the old furniture. Toilet stained badly with balcony filled with cigarette butt's and leaves. I can't imagine having this kind of cleanliness. Having said that, Miss Hartini helped us change to a better clean room. We appreciate it very much. It is such the opposite, but housekeeping services really need improvement, glasses not cleaned, and amenities were not replenished. It is really unbelievable.
