"The hotel is located opposite the train/bus station. You can take the bus here when traveling to SAPA or Hanoi. There are no shopping malls or parks nearby, and the living facilities are insufficient. I chose this hotel because I had to take a bus to Hanoi the next morning. It is about 3 kilometers to the Red River Port. Fruits are cheap near the port. A coconut costs 25,000 VND. Other places in Lao Cai sell for 30,000 to 35,000 VND. The park in the main city of Lao Cai is beautiful and you can go shopping. There are many shops near the park. I bought a 6-inch pizza from the store, which was delicious."
"I enjoyed this hotel, I wished the shower was more warm but it wasn’t cold. Reception was friendly and helpful. Lots of places to eat within walking distance. I had a motorcycle rental and they had a covered garage so that was a bonus!"

"Book only one night, the if you need to extend pay cash. Don't use trip.com. The hotel has stated they do not charge cancellation fees, but trip.com refuses to change the policy. Plus, if you pay cash directly, it is cheaper."
"In the new district to the south of the old street, the terrain is high and the view is wide. The room has a domestic four-star level. Downstairs entertainment, bars, mainly Chinese consumers. Traffic is slightly inconvenient, and there are cars at the door. Vietnam is dominated by motorcycles."
"Excellent location, there are many snack bars, coffee shops and entertainment on the nearby street. The hotel environment is elegant and comfortable, clean and hygienic. Chinese people need to take their documents (do not understand), check out and wait for the hotel staff to check the room before returning the documents."
"Generally hotel standard is below the standard of a 4 star hotel
Location is not very good and quite far from the town centre about 30 minutes walk
HOTEL room is very big for single occupancy
Hotel amenities were in quite bad. The swimming pool is closed and the bar is closed as well.
Rooms were clean.
Service is satisfactory and the reception does not speak English."
"Hands down ..The best value for money accomodation I have stayed at in SE Asia.
We stayed 1 night for our train trip to Hanoi. If I hadn’t paid for the train I would have stayed longer. Best location and excellent room with every facility you could want.

Great
GGuest UserThe room is a bit small but the view is nice, clean, good service. I forgot something and the hotel was very supportive in keeping it and waiting for me to come back a few days later to get it.
GGuest UserI made a reservation for one day because it is right next to the Chinese border. The facilities are clean and the balcony view is good. There is a local market a little further down. The cafe in front of the hotel also has a nice feel. The TV has Netflix and YouTube. It was a hot day. I stayed comfortably. Recommended. Grab is good to go to Lao Cai Station, but I didn't use it. If you go to the market, there are auto riders. You can just grab their hand signals. ww
GGuest UserThe hotel is very nice. The room is very clean and the bed is very comfortable. We are a family of three with a baby. It is very quiet at night, especially the room service. The front desk has arranged the room.
GGuest UserThe location was fine in the middle of the town, though we had to walk a few minutes to find restaurants.
The biggest disappointment was the buffet breakfast. It only had noodle soup and bread. Most food trays had nothing. The hotel staff said there were only 10 guests so they didn't prepare most breakfast dishes. Some hostels' breakfast could be better than this 4 star hotel.
The bathroom had no bathtub which was fine, but the whole place got wet after shower as water leaked from the shower area to the toilet and everywhere.
The room smelled quite a bit when we first walked in and the AC system was partially locked so we couldn't change the AC mode.
The only positive was the hotel staff was friendly and let us check in early for free.

AAnonymous UserThe location of the hotel is very convenient. It is just a stone's throw away from Vietnam Customs. You can pass the customs as soon as you step out. The room facilities are old and the staff service is old. It is generally necessary to pay attention to the deluxe room. Not every room is as big as the promotional picture. He may We will arrange a smaller room for you. At that time, you have to tell the front desk that you want the same room as the photo and they will change it for you.
张张It is about40K shield (12 yuan) from the old street port. The room is quite big. I live on the 6~ 8th floor. You can see some street views of the old street, including: Ga Lao Cai (train station), but the train station is not lively at all, a bit similar to the market town of domestic third- and fourth-tier cities. The hotel is very clean, similar to the domestic chain store, is three-star, but they are checked in after 14:00, if you check in early, you need to pay another price 340K Shield (100 yuan Rmb), the original price is about 230. Looking at the scenery outside the hotel is okay, there is a bay window sitting by the window, drinking a cup of coffee is very pleasant (send a picture). Xiao Du (Ms.) at the front desk of the hotel can speak Chinese and there is no problem with basic communication. The owner (Ms.) of the small coffee shop on the right hand side of the main entrance of the hotel is very kind and Chinese is not bad.
