If you are looking for a great hotel in Wyoming, or while crossing the country on I80, you’ve found it. Clean and organized with great staff too! You will not be disappointed. You will think that you are at a much more expensive hotel.

I have been at this location for quite some time; writing and publishing three books…witnessing staff rise to the occasion. After losing some employees during summer and fall of 2021 the acting manager quickly rebuilt an effective staff presence. If guests bear in mind Travelodge aims to provide the best room for the price rather than five star amenities there would be no complaints.

My wife had a medical emergency while we were there. The entire staff and especially the general manger spared no effort in helping us. An ambulance was secured. I had been dropped off at a meeting on the campus of UW. The manager picked me up from my meeting and took be to the hospital. Later he provided a ride back to the hospital. He paid special attention to our every need and even brought a very nice bouquet of flowers to our room after we returned from the hospital. The entire staff provided excellent service. I will definitely stay here whenever in Laramie.

Very helpful staff, great location, and very accommodating. Very pleased with our experience. The guy that checked us in was so very helpful. And it really is the staff that makes a hotel stand out and this guy really did.

Laramie Fort is a very beautiful town, the hotel is on the edge of the main road, surrounded by some fast food restaurants. The waiter was very friendly, the room was large, the bed was comfortable, the bathroom sink was large, and the hot water was good. Especially breakfast, not buffet but ordering, made separately, very high-end. A breakfast card is given to each person for a value of $10, and the excess is paid separately. There are also pools and hot spring pools, and the facilities are very new. In short, a very cost-effective experience. Give praise!

We had been in Laramie for a couple days skiing and we’re planning on heading home when all of a sudden the interstates close down. This was the last hotel with rooms available. I am very thankful that we had a place to stay and did not have to sleep in our cars however I would never recommend staying here otherwise. The hotel was so rundown. Our rooms had freezing cold and no heat. Once we actually turned the heat on it was not warming up the room. We had to get an additional space heater. There was lots of little hair all inside the sheets when you pulled back the bedding. One of the TVs did not work in the rooms. Our microwave had a short in it and you had to hold the cord just right for it to work. The outlet in our bathroom was completely broken and had pieces coming off of it . Just everything from bathrooms to rooms was so dated and kind of all coming apart. Sheets had stains on it. Now the gentleman working the front desk was very kind and was doing his best with all the craziness of the situation with guests being stranded and like I said we were thankful to have a place to stay but I would not recommend staying here unless you have an emergency like we did . Especially since staying there for that one night we paid just as much as we did staying at our previous hotel that we had stayed in The night before which was a very nice hotel. So you we weren’t even getting a good room at a good price.
