"Very good, clean and new"

"Lovely hotel, directly off the motorway (so a car is necessary). We stayed for one night because we were going to a concert in Strathaven. The owner was a very friendly man, and the room was lovely. A huge comfortable bed, hot shower, clean linens, small toiletries, and tea/coffee in the room. We had a great stay."

"Quaint hotel with lots of charm and appeal. Located within easy access to Edinburgh, Glasgow and Stirling! Adele and her staff took great care of us and we would definitely stay again if we are back in Scotland! Just be forewarned that there is no elevator, so you will need to carry luggage up the stairs! They also serve a great full breakfast!"

"The service provided was pleasant. The hotel is located along the highway and has a supermarket beside with some fast food joints. The hotel is not exactly in a touristy location but it serves as a convenient location to branch out and back when visiting multiple places. Breakfast was served with sausages, bacon, eggs, cereal, etc. pretty normal of which both my children had enjoyed. Room was clean and spacious with the double bed and sofa bed. If we are visiting Scotland in future, this hotel will definitely be on our consideration."

During my dining experiences at the hotel restaurant, I felt that the staff could have been more welcoming and friendly. While the service was efficient, a warmer interaction would have greatly enhanced the overall experience. Nonetheless, the food quality was satisfactory. Overall, the Ravens Cliff Hotel Lodge offers a decent stay, especially if you're looking for a straightforward, no-frills accommodation with the convenience of an on-site restaurant. It's a suitable choice for travelers seeking basic comfort and cleanliness."
