I rarely write reviews, but I feel I must write one this time. Gesanghua Hotel has a beautiful and kind proprietress. She is quite young, thoughtful, warm and patient. We just arrived in Lhasa and were not very familiar with the itinerary. Later, we consulted the proprietress to avoid falling into the trap. You can also ask the proprietress to help buy performance tickets and travel packages. There are many discounts after comparison. I am also very satisfied with the arranged room. It is square, clean, with a humidifier, oxygen concentrator, and air conditioner. Every morning, the bright sunshine will shine into the room, making the cool morning warm all of a sudden. Living in a sunny room makes my altitude sickness much better.
The location of the hotel is also very good👍 It is convenient to go out for transportation. It takes a few minutes to walk to Jokhang City, Barkhor Street, and Jokhang Temple. It only takes 10 yuan to take Didi to the Potala Palace.
Warm service, clean room, convenient transportation, we will definitely stay in Gesanghua again next time.

We stayed here for two nights in and out of Lhasa. Although it takes a taxi to get to tourist attractions such as the Potala Palace and Jokhang Temple, it only takes more than 10 minutes. It is a good experience to see the Potala Palace sleep!
The room was clean and tidy. The room has oxygen. If it is not enough to suck, the hotel lobby also has a large bottle of oxygen, which is full of security.

This is my fourth visit to Lhasa. In the past 15 years, except for the time in 2010 when I stayed at the Bazaar Hotel on Linkuo East Road (which has long been demolished), I stayed at Pingcuo in 2019, 2023, and 2025. I am already familiar with it, with a good location and clean rooms. It is also friendly to middle-aged people, unlike some city youth hostels that refuse people over 35. Some people who stay in youth hostels may just be afraid of staying in a hotel alone, afraid to the point of not being able to sleep well all night, like me.

I like Gesang Huaxiang Home Hotel very much. It feels like a small but beautiful B&B with many flowers planted. When you enter the door, you will first see a cafe where you can quietly read a book and drink coffee. If you order takeout, you can also have a simple meal here, which is very comfortable. The homestay has three floors. The climbing tigers in the courtyard on the first floor have a sense of tranquility in time. A grape was planted in front of each bedroom window on the first floor. The long branches were carefully pulled to the wall by the owner. Tibetan tables and chairs are arranged on both sides of the courtyard. The boss from Jiangsu, gentle and elegant, speaks softly, and the waiter girl is also timid and seems a little shy. The hotel facilities are average, old, but it looks leisurely and quiet, filled with the taste of old village.
We sit in the sun, swipe our phones, chat, drink beer, do nothing, let time flow.
