Hotel Andesmar

My wife and i have stayed with Andesmar for the 3rd time. The rooms are nice and clean. The staff is very attentive to our needs. Parking is available off the street. The price is very reasonable. We only feel that the breakfast menu should have more variety of choices on a daily basis. We will continue to stay with Andesmar in the future.

A lovely roomy suite in a safe neighbourhood. Staff were very friendly and helpful. They organized airport pickup and drop off for US$25 which is quite reasonable and safe. The included daily breakfast was superb with fresh fruit, eggs, cereals, and many additional items. The hotel was a block off the main street and so very quiet, but it was close to the oceanfront for walks, and to the bustling eating and people-watching area by Parc de Kennedy. The Tourist Infomation office for SIM cards, money exchange, and free daily walks was also close by.

Location was great, as were the staff. Room has a weird layout and no fan in the bathroom only a window. Doors are paper this so it can be loud/noisey. Comfy bed and good curtains. AC worked great. Probably wouldn’t book it again

great hotel with an excellent location in miraflores… cpl blocks from tons of restaurants and nightlife yet far away enough for it to be very quiet and safe… room was excellent, huge with a big couch and table and lots of square footage… almost like a mini living room… had a mini fridge and microwave so we’re able to heat up food whenever we wanted in the room… the view is nothing special as it’s a quiet residential street… breakfast is ok but can use some work… the eggs were semi cold all the time but the guy was trying the best he could lol… amazing fresh squeezed orange juice machine that does all the work with no effort… there’s security gate you be buzzed in at the front and one night we went out and came back super late and nobody was there to let us in… kept ringing the bell for awhile and he showed up finally…. the two house bikes were nice, super beaters that we adjusted to make rideable but they were good enough to do 15 miles around lima and the beach so it was cool…. ubers arrived in only a few minutes here and were dirty cheap… overall andesmar was great, would definitely stay here again if in lima… actually chose this hotel off of reviews and they were right on… see ya again soon andesmar!

We stopped over at the Andesmar Hotel when our international flight was changed. What a pleasant experience! The rooms are large and comfortable, we had a quiet sleeping experience, the bathroom was clean and bright and the water was hot. The staff was amazingly welcoming and friendly. I left my phone in our first taxi, and they were quick in helping me get it back. In addition, the location is great - walking distance to all of Miraflores on safe streets. We would absolutely come back here in the future, thank you for a great stay!

We did not enjoy our stay. We stayed in room 303 and upon entering the room, it was freezing and damp feeling. I turned on the heat setting for the mini-split and even turned it to 30 degrees C but it kept blowing cold air. We visited at the end of August 2022 so it was quite cool outside. It was very cold in the room. I turned in the dry function to get rid of the damp feeling but that only made the room even colder. In the morning, my fiancé went to shower and there was no hot water. Then, yellow/brown water started coming out from the shower head. The sink water was brown/yellow too. I called the desk and then they called back saying it was “fixed”. The hot water side of the sink ran yellow/brown for a bit until it cleared and the cold water side was clear but the shower was still yellow/brown water. We only stayed for a night so we ****** it up. But if it was a longer stay we would have checked out and gone elsewhere. I don’t know how how this hotel had gotten so many recent positive reviews but I would not stay here again.

The room itself is decent, but they need better sound proofing. I could very clearly hear footsteps and noises from the other rooms when trying to sleep. The wifi stopped working on my second day which made it difficult for me to call an Uber to the airport. They charge $25 USD for their van to take you to the airport when other hotels are around $10 or so! I would book somewhere else with reliable Wifi and reasonable airport transit.

Weather sucks but that is something out of their control but the staff is very helpful and accommodating the location is great you can walk and get anything you need not my first time there
