The Ivens, Autograph Collection

We enjoyed our stay. The hotel is well located and the staff was friendly. Breakfast service in the restaurant was sometimes spotty. Dinners were good and the bar was beautiful. Be warned: there was very little storage in the room. It’s a great place for tourists!

The Ivens is a brilliant boutique hotel in a fantastic neighbourhood of Lisbon. When you enter the hotel, you are greeted by the kindest gentlemen who assist you with luggage and errands. The rooms are compact but convenient and the comfort of the bed and the power of the shower shine - at the end of the day, these are the most important elements of a hotel stay. The Acqua di Parma amenities are such a good fit! The gym was a positive surprise. The photos online do not do it justice. All the modern TechnoGym equipment is exactly what you need for a city hotel and stay. Overall, the hotel was a perfect base for us to use to explore the city. Surrounded by Michelin star restaurants and fantastic breakfast spots. We couldn’t recommend the hotel more. A specific mention for Andrè, the door porter, who did not only remember us, but also greeted us by name and checked how our other destination was when we returned a week later. The sign of a quality hotel when the team is able to recognise and great it’s guests with such personality. It makes you feel like coming home. Well done to the Ivens team for creating a brilliant city boutique hotel. We will be back!

This was hands down THE best Autograph collection Hotel my husband & I have ever stayed in! We are both titanium members so have stayed at many Marriot-branded hotels. Absolutely impeccable service from the time you walk in the doors (held open by the friendliest bellmen), the friendliest concierge (esp. Sofia!), meticulous housekeeping who always managed to do a little extra that were weren't expecting. As others have mentioned, the shower was heavenly along with the bathroom amenities. As titanium members, breakfast was included and in addition to a lovely buffet, we could order any of the dishes off the menu which were scrumptious. Although on the pricier side, you absolutely get what you pay for! The location was perfect for everything we wanted to do. The hotel itself, the restaurant and the public bathroom (the most photographed public bathroom you will find!) was definitely one of our favorite things about Lisbon.

After countless hours of researching 5 star Lisbon hotels, I was so glad that I booked The Ivens Hotel. One, the Front Desk provided 5 star service throughout my stay. It was also one of the few Marriott hotels that truly honored the Platinum Elite benefits. The Front Desk patiently explained each benefit. One of the few times where my room was upgraded. The. Front Desk also arranged for someone to purchase non-allergic soap...WOW! Second, the location is absolutely PERFECT! It was located on a quiet street but super close to the main tourist streets. Last, room services was absolutely one of the quickest...the fries actually remained hot. I will definitely be returning to the Ivens Hotel!

Perfect location. Charming in every way. The art is incredible and the theme carried out found throughout the entire hotel. Luxurious linens. Surprisingly strong water pressure. Gastro Bar hopping. Staff eager to help with all requests.

What beautiful Autograph Hotel in the Center of the most beautiful neighborhood in Lisbon. We were welcomed by an attentive staff and the accommodations were a visual feast of art and comfort! Our room was very comfortable and the water pressure in the shower was 100% along with the luxury toiletries. The Rocco Bar was a great place to grab a drink before heading out to the hundreds of cafes and shopping haunts. Everything is walkable and safe and I hope to return someday! Also, the best pottery shop is right across the street!
