Shame - everything was going well with friendly, attentive staff and excellent food. Sever cleared our plates and said she would be back with the dessert menu. We waited and waited, in the end my wife got up and asked for a menu. We then waited and waited and the desire for dessert - deserted us!!! Not only that, but we had to get up and go and find someone we could settle our account. Sad really we were enjoying ourselves.

Brilliant, our 3rd stay and it will not be our last... The rooms are well thought out, very clean and comfortable, the staff are very helpful and attentive. The food menu is enough to fulfill most guests, plus it offers Wrexham lager which I like plus some local produce for sale in their shop..

Two nights at The Ring in Anglesey. LL66 0AB in out motorhome. 5 spaces, (2 x campervan 3 x 7m motorhome / caravan size). We are 7.4m had to ring pub to make sure we could fit, they were very accommodating. Just fits lengthwise but loads of space widthwise for awnings / car. Lovley pub, 10amp power, drive over grey wate, elsan and fresh water. Immaculate showers, toilets etc. Lovley and quiet, surrounded by countryside. Also does b&b in pub What's not to like. Food all homemade forgot a pics but very nice. Site and pub pics all on their website.

From the moment we arrived until we left, we were looked after. The room was great. Even had fresh milk in a small fridge. The food at dinner was excellent with great service. After a good nights sleep we were welcomed by Clare at breakfast. The setup for breakfasts was very good ,fresh coffee and two, cooked too order breakfasts were excellent. They even have a little shop with all things Welsh and products you may have forgotten in the restaurant area. Excellent service and standards are maintained here and are a credit to Clare and her team . Our dog George loved his ice cream .

We stayed in one of the rooms for the first time as the weather wasn't looking so good, in the past we have stayed around the back in the van as this has really good facilities and is not over priced for the odd one night stay. Really impressed with the room, the Mrs is a housekeeper and she said it was absolutely spot on, us blokes probably don't notice the finer details, plenty of Rum and a warm bed is all i care about to be honest. Very good value for money, one of the many reasons we go here is for the warm relaxing atmosphere and the Christmas menu, yet again this didn't disappoint with a real good offer on three courses, i often wonder how they can charge such a small amount for such amazing food and generous portions (Credit to the Chef). The staff are always very welcoming, polite and attentive. The place is well run, it looked amazing all ready for Christmas and my favorite thing is the Wrexham lager on tap!!! if this was my local i would never leave, until next time.....thanks.

Was looking for a location for an anniversary meal, was really put off by a posting stating 20% off meals locals only -bring proof of postcode - we dine in Angelsey often throughout the year sometimes as a couple and sometimes as a family group - refuse to pay an extra 20% because we are not local (we do live in Wales btw) plenty of other places appreciate our custom year round and do not discriminate based on address! And many offer great deals in the off season that anyone can use - We will continue to support the venues that appreciate our custom regardless of our address!

Well where do I start……. This place is a hidden gem! The rooms are gorgeous and the bed…..it is like sleeping on a cloud! I had the best nights sleep. Claire & Mark are the best hosts! We had a lovely chat with them after our delicious dinner. The food is excellent and the atmosphere is sublime. I tried the Anglesey Bliss wine for the first time and it was delicious. So nice to see so much local produce and that local businesses are being supported. Already looking at another date when we can visit again because I have fallen in love with this place and all it represents. Thank you Claire & Mark xxxx

Excellent food and service. Menu was varied and some meals could also be ordered as a lighter option, which was good if you’re not a large eater. Cheesecake was absolutely lovely. Would definitely recommend a visit here if you’re in the area.

This is just a wonderful place to stay. The Ring is immaculate. The staff are friendly and really helpful. We ate in the restaurant one night and the food was great and reasonably priced. The breakfast was amazingly. It was just a fantastic experience. We loved it.
