Hotel Xanadu
4.1/5104 Reviews
The hotel is about an 8-minute walk from the Ealing Boardway subway station. It belongs to the center of this area, but it is not as crowded as Zone 1 / 2. There are many high-rated restaurants nearby, and there are also many large and small supermarkets. The convenience of life is very high. The hotel opened in 2018, so it feels new and the room size is much bigger than those hotels near central London, would consider this area when I come back to London.
Crowne Plaza London Ealing, an IHG Hotel
4.1/5116 Reviews
I stay with the IHG group every week and one hotel stay rolls into another. However tonight's stay deserves a positive review thanks to young man on reception called Joshua. I arrived at the hotel extremely early, just after 14:00 and understandly my room was not yet ready. Joshua gave me a drinks voucher and set me up in the downstairs bar / restaurant. It's comfy and quiet down there and I was able to get on with some work. Once my room was ready I discovered that I had been upgraded which was a pleasant surprise. Then later in the evening Joshua was kind enough to bring me up a fan along with a key that allowed him to open the windows. So often you're just another number, but not tonight. Joshua was friendly, knowledgeable, professional and polite. I will use this hotel as often as possible and recommend it to others.
DoubleTree by Hilton London Ealing
4.3/572 Reviews
We stayed for a week and had good service from our arrival till our departure. Room size was pretty tight, we were not able to open 1 luggage fully even. However, the room has everything that is needed. It is only a 5-min walk to the tube (Common Ealing) which made travelling to town area very convenient. Lots of halal eateries at Ealing Broadway too :)
Park Plaza London, Park Royal
4.3/5167 Reviews
Located at a stone throw away from the Park Plaza station via Piccadilly line (approx 2min walk). 48mins to the Heathrow Terminals via the same Piccadilly line. Diagonally opposite is a drive-through Burger King and Five Guys fast food restaurant. Unfortunately there is no convenient stores nearby. They do sell water and some snacks at their lobby vending machine. Otherwise, the tap water in London is generally safe for drinking. We did the digital check-in and out (simply download the Park Plaza Services APP), hence hassle-free from all the waiting. Room was decent sized for 2pax. Their standing shower space was relatively small though. Not a bad experience if you don't intend to stay for long.
Holiday Inn London - West
4/5134 Reviews
Holiday inn-west, easy to accessible through tube n by road. Whenever I travel for business I used to prefer for long stays here. Peacefull stay and quiet environment. Breakfast buffet is very good, healthy food, Amazing staff with excellent customer service, like Ravindra Singh is so helpful, he is an asset for your company. Keep up the good work you guys are doing.
Hampton by Hilton London Park Royal
4.4/592 Reviews
I was unsure what experience I would have from reading the mixed reviews for this hotel. But I wanted a hotel that wasn't too far from Heathrow, and easily accessible to the Underground and reasonable price (other Hilton properties on or near LHR are either pricey, not great reviews, or require taxi/car to get to them). I was pleasantly pleased with this hotel. Walking up to it from the Underground (very short walk), it looks old and unimpressive. But when you enter the lobby, it is clean, modern and comfortable looking. Front desk staff were polite and friendly as were other staff I passed in the halls. The room was quite comfortable, and I personally thought the beds were on par with Hampton in the US - comfy, but not overly soft (I prefer softer, but that rarely happens in a hotel). Bathroom was small, but typical for UK and shower was very nice. Breakfast was good - I didn't go at peak time, but when I went, everything was warm, well stocked, fresh looking and large selection (more than I see in a typical US Hampton property). I can't say how this would be for many nights, but if you want a cheaper hotel right off the Tube, this is a good choice for sure.
