This hotel is pure paradise. The room size is perfect, bed sublime, staff exceptional and location beyond brilliant. I swapped my regular London five star hotel for the Dilly several trips ago. I’ll never change again. Selim, the senior guest relations manager is the best in the business. I’ll return in two weeks and know my stay will be pure bliss. Thank you all so very much for your hospitality. Look no further if you want the best place to stay in London.  Many thanks, Emma

The location is very close to the delicious burger&lobster. It is not too far to Fonnan Mason. There is also a Martha nearby. The front desk uncle is very good at helping me print things until the print is correct and I will confiscate my money. The room can be opened with a small suitcase, but there is a full-length mirror.

Overall quite satisfied, the breakfast was particularly great. Room size and layout are a bit of a mystery, but that seems to be the case across UK hotels. The location is excellent. It's not far from Piccadilly and Buckingham Palace within walking distance. There are many delicious Western restaurants around. I will consider this place next time I go to London.

The location is very good, the service is very British and friendly, and the hygiene is good. The anti-theft lock on the door feels like it will be pulled off if you try hard. Because of the off-season, the price/performance ratio is OK.

This booking encountered a different situation: I paid by credit card, but the hotel decides whether to debit the credit card or pay the accommodation on the day. We thought it had been paid, but as a result we had to pay in person on the day of check-in, but then we didn't pay by checking the credit card bill. It took me a while to figure it out.

The hotel is very historical and the overall decoration is also very good, but the room does not have any hot water or coffee machine, which is very inconvenient. The porter at the front desk is very friendly, but the gentleman who checked in is very disappointing The hotel is a high-end hotel, the location is very good, the hotel has a famous bar and restaurant The cleaning of the room is also not in place. Either there is no toilet paper, or the bottom mat of the shower is forgotten. All in all, it feels that the management is not good

Super satisfied, the address is perfect, Buckingham Palace and Hyde Park are nearby, Regent Street, Bond Street, Chinatown are all within walking distance, Harrods taxi is about 9 pounds The toiletries used are byredo, you can bring less It's just that the decoration is relatively early, the lighting is a bit dim Mineral water is also very generous, and slippers were not given at first, but after asking once, they were given every day The luggage handling at the door is also very proactive, seeing our stroller, they will take the initiative to move it, and seeing that we have a lot of boxes, they will also seriously suggest whether to take a taxi or Uber

  • London Stansted Airport (STN): Located approximately 42 miles (68 km) northeast of London, Stansted primarily serves European and Mediterranean destinations.
  • London Luton Airport (LTN): About 35 miles (55km) north of the city centre, Luton handles European and some international flights.

Once you're in the city, getting around is a breeze. You can use a contactless card or Oyster card for all transport: Tube (Underground), buses, DLR, Elizabeth line, Overground and trams. Plan your trips with the free TfL Go app or TfL journey planner. Other options include Santander Cycles, river buses, black cabs or minicabs.

Main Transport Types

  • The Tube (London Underground): The Tube is London's iconic underground railway with 11 colour-coded lines. It's the quickest way to travel, with fares starting at £2.90 for an off-peak single journey in central London (Zone 1).
  • Buses: London's famous red double-decker buses offer scenic routes across the city. A single fare costs £1.75, and you can make unlimited bus changes within one hour for the same price. While slower than the Tube due to traffic, they're perfect for sightseeing.
  • Docklands Light Railway (DLR): It connects to the Tube network and offers great views from its elevated tracks. Fare are the same as the Tube and can be paid with an Oyster card, contactless payment card, or a Travelcard.
  • Elizabeth line: London's newest railway provides fast connections across the city from Reading/Heathrow in the west to Shenfield/Abbey Wood in the east. It costs the same as the Tube but offers more space.
  • London Overground: These orange-branded trains link outer London areas not served by the Underground. The six routes are particularly useful for reaching neighborhoods like Shoreditch, Hackney and Wembley.
  • London Trams: Operating in South London, trams serve areas like Croydon and Wimbledon. They're cheaper than the Tube (£1.75) and run every 5 to 15 minutes on average.
  • River Bus (Thames Clippers): These boats offer a unique commute with stunning views of landmarks. Fares are higher than the Tube (single fares from £5.90), but you can use your Oyster card. Perfect for travelling between Greenwich and central London.

Other Ways to Travel

  • Santander Cycles: London's bike hire scheme (nicknamed "Boris Bikes") costs £1.65 for 30 minutes. With docking stations across central London, they're great for short trips in good weather.
  • Taxis: Traditional black cabs can be hailed on the street - the meter starts at £4.20. Minicabs (like Uber) must be pre-booked and are often cheaper. All black cab drivers pass "The Knowledge" test of London's streets.
  • IFS Cloud Cable Car: This Thames crossing between Greenwich and the Royal Docks offers amazing views. With a one-way fare of (Oyster accepted), it's more of a tourist experience than practical transport.
  • Walking: Many central London sights are within walking distance of each other. Free walking maps are available at Tube stations,TfL Website or TfL Go App - just watch out for traffic when crossing roads!

London Hotels Booking Tips

  • Book early (3-6 months ahead) for busy times like Christmas, New Year, or major events such as Wimbledon.
  • Check event dates: Big events (e.g. London Fashion Week, Notting Hill Carnival) often cause higher prices and limited availability.
  • Save with deals: New users on Trip.com can get up to 8% off hotel bookings.
  • Stay smart: Consider areas like Shoreditch or Canary Wharf for good transport links and better prices than central West End or Kensington.

Amazing
AAnonymous UserThe rooms are very different. If you are facing the park street, you will have to listen to the sound of motorcycles every day. If the front desk says it is a quiet room, it is best to check it before checking in. The old house is not soundproof. The room next to the elevator is very bad. There is no restaurant in the hotel, only room service.

NNH1Hilton Park Lane London: I recently had the pleasure of staying at the Hilton Park Lane in London, and I must say it was an exceptional experience from start to finish. This luxurious hotel truly exceeded my expectations in every aspect. Upon arrival, I was greeted by the friendly and attentive staff who made the check-in process a breeze. They were knowledgeable, accommodating, and went out of their way to ensure that all my needs were met. The level of professionalism displayed by the staff was truly commendable. The rooms at the Hilton Park Lane were nothing short of magnificent. Spacious, elegantly decorated, and equipped with all the modern amenities one could ask for. The bed was incredibly comfortable, and I had a great night's sleep every night of my stay. The room also offered stunning views of Hyde Park, which was an added bonus. The hotel's dining options were superb. I had the pleasure of dining at one of the on-site restaurants, and the food was absolutely delicious. The menu featured a wide range of culinary delights, and the service was impeccable. Whether you're in the mood for a casual meal or a fine dining experience, the Hilton Park Lane has something to suit every palate. The hotel's location is another major advantage. Situated right on Park Lane, it offers easy access to some of London's most iconic attractions. Hyde Park, Buckingham Palace, and Oxford Street are all within walking distance, making it an ideal choice for tourists. Additionally, the hotel is conveniently located near several public transportation options, making it easy to explore the city. The Hilton Park Lane also boasts excellent leisure facilities. The fitness center is well-equipped with state-of-the-art equipment, allowing guests to maintain their fitness routines while traveling. Additionally, the hotel features a luxurious spa where guests can indulge in a range of treatments and therapies, perfect for relaxation and rejuvenation. Overall, my experience at the Hilton Park Lane London was absolutely fantastic. The hotel's impeccable service, luxurious accommodations, convenient location, and outstanding amenities make it a top choice for both business and leisure travelers. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a memorable stay in the heart of London.

NNuwayangdedoulanduluThis is my second time staying here. I also stayed in London in 2019. The most important thing is the location. It is absolutely central to Buckingham Palace and Hyde Park. The lobby is hard to describe. It is inconvenient to push a stroller, there are stairs, and there are no convenient facilities. When someone is around, the service is pretty good. When someone is away, I can do it myself for half a day. And drinking water is not very proactive.
