Very old-fashioned British decoration and excellent location. I stayed there for the second time. It is in my favorite Mayfair area. There are people coming and going, tourists from all over the world. It is still my favorite London hotel 😆

Hilton Park Lane London: I recently had the pleasure of staying at the Hilton Park Lane in London, and I must say it was an exceptional experience from start to finish. This luxurious hotel truly exceeded my expectations in every aspect. Upon arrival, I was greeted by the friendly and attentive staff who made the check-in process a breeze. They were knowledgeable, accommodating, and went out of their way to ensure that all my needs were met. The level of professionalism displayed by the staff was truly commendable. The rooms at the Hilton Park Lane were nothing short of magnificent. Spacious, elegantly decorated, and equipped with all the modern amenities one could ask for. The bed was incredibly comfortable, and I had a great night's sleep every night of my stay. The room also offered stunning views of Hyde Park, which was an added bonus. The hotel's dining options were superb. I had the pleasure of dining at one of the on-site restaurants, and the food was absolutely delicious. The menu featured a wide range of culinary delights, and the service was impeccable. Whether you're in the mood for a casual meal or a fine dining experience, the Hilton Park Lane has something to suit every palate. The hotel's location is another major advantage. Situated right on Park Lane, it offers easy access to some of London's most iconic attractions. Hyde Park, Buckingham Palace, and Oxford Street are all within walking distance, making it an ideal choice for tourists. Additionally, the hotel is conveniently located near several public transportation options, making it easy to explore the city. The Hilton Park Lane also boasts excellent leisure facilities. Overall quite satisfied, the breakfast was particularly great. Room size and layout are a bit of a mystery, but that seems to be the case across UK hotels. The location is excellent. It's not far from Piccadilly and Buckingham Palace within walking distance. There are many delicious Western restaurants around. I will consider this place next time I go to London.

The location is excellent, the environment is good, and the hotel has its own restaurants. It is within 30 minutes walking distance from major shopping malls. London hotels are old, broken and small, and the cost performance is almost negligible. However, when titanium gold is everywhere in China, I unexpectedly succeeded in upgrading to a suite in London, which touched me. It also requires a lot of money. The size of the suite is completely different from the standard room.

The location is very good, the service is very British and friendly, and the hygiene is good. The anti-theft lock on the door feels like it will be pulled off if you try hard. Because of the off-season, the price/performance ratio is OK.

London Travel Guide

Getting Around London

Are you ready to explore London now? Let's talk about how to get there and get around. Whether you're flying, taking a train, or arriving by bus, getting to London is straightforward.

If you're flying, London has several major airports:

London Heathrow Airport (LHR): As London's largest airport and one of the busiest in the world, Heathrow is located about 23 kilometres west of the city centre. It handles a vast number of international flights.

London Gatwick Airport (LGW): Situated about 45 kilometres south of central London, Gatwick is the second-largest airport, serving both international and domestic flights.

London Stansted Airport (STN): Located approximately 64 kilometres northeast of London, Stansted primarily serves European and Mediterranean destinations.

London Luton Airport (LTN): About 55 kilometres north of the city centre, Luton handles European and some international flights.

London City Airport (LCY): Positioned in East London near the financial district, this airport mainly caters to business travellers and short-haul flights.

Want to start your journey with ease? Why not book a hotel nearby that offers a shuttle service? It’s a real lifesaver, especially when you’re exhausted after a long journey or a late night flight. With the stress taken out of your arrival, you'll have more time and energy to dive into all the fantastic things London has to offer.

Once you're in the city, getting around is a breeze. The Tube is one of the top ways to travel—it's quick, budget-friendly, and takes you just about anywhere you need to go. Taxis and buses are also easy to find, though you might hit a bit of traffic now and then.

The Tube: London's Underground, or "The Tube," is one of the fastest ways to get around. Fares depend on the zones you travel through, with a single journey in central London (Zone 1) costing around £2.80 if you use an Oyster card or contactless payment. It's a quick and iconic way to navigate the city, but it can get crowded during rush hours.

Buses: London's iconic red buses are a great way to get around the city. A single fare is £1.75, and you can hop on and off as many buses as you like within an hour for the same price. Buses offer a more scenic route compared to the Tube, but they can be slower due to traffic.

Taxis: Black cabs are a classic London experience. The starting fare is about £3.80, and they can be hailed on the street or found at taxi ranks. Alternatively, ride-sharing apps like Uber are widely used and can be more budget-friendly.

Cycling: Santander Cycles, also known as "Boris Bikes," are available for hire across the city. It's a fun and active way to explore, especially in good weather.

River Services: Travelling by boat on the Thames offers a unique perspective of the city. It's a bit more leisurely but provides stunning views of landmarks.

Remember to check the Transport for London (TfL) website or app for real-time updates and to plan your journey efficiently.

AAnonymous UserThe rooms are very different. If you are facing the park street, you will have to listen to the sound of motorcycles every day. If the front desk says it is a quiet room, it is best to check it before checking in. The old house is not soundproof. The room next to the elevator is very bad. There is no restaurant in the hotel, only room service.

SSaeeddThe two room I booked for 9 nights (23/10-1/11) stated that its size is 29 square meters, but the one i got was 23 tops and i need extra seating area for my friends there because i stayed before in the hotel and the room had a couch !!! Referring that issue to reception member (Vishua) she said that the room category i booked comes with that size and no more rooms from that category with larger size available unless I upgrade for £120 per night per room to be paid. After few days, another reception member (Tom) confirmed for me that at least one bigger room will be allocated for me by Thursday. On that day afternoon, I came to the reception and the same reception member (Vishua) repeated the same reply from day one saying there was no message from her colleague (Tom) in the system and sent a written message for me if i want an upgrade with £120 per night. I wrote a review in Google and they replied that we allocated a room for you but since my luggage was unpacked we assumed that you are happy with your room. Well I am not happy because you are contradicting yourselves and it was not a miscommunication rather trying to get extra charges on your guests. Bottom line i did not get the space i paid for nor a solution to the issue. To be fair, Special thanks to Fatima the house keeping member she was so dedicated and a happiness in this horrible situation.

NNuwayangdedoulanduluThis is my second time staying here. I also stayed in London in 2019. The most important thing is the location. It is absolutely central to Buckingham Palace and Hyde Park. The lobby is hard to describe. It is inconvenient to push a stroller, there are stairs, and there are no convenient facilities. When someone is around, the service is pretty good. When someone is away, I can do it myself for half a day. And drinking water is not very proactive.

The porter at the front desk is very friendly, but the gentleman who checked in is very disappointing The hotel is a high-end hotel, the location is very good, the hotel has a famous bar and restaurant The cleaning of the room is also not in place. This booking encountered a different situation: I paid by credit card, but the hotel decides whether to debit the credit card or pay the accommodation on the day. We thought it had been paid, but as a result we had to pay in person on the day of check-in, but then we didn't pay by checking the credit card bill. It took me a while to figure it out.
