"The hotel is perfectly located and has amazing views of the Nile, we enjoyed a beautiful sunset !
The service was impeccable and they prepared for us breakfast box.
The only criticism which is not only applicable to the hotel is the fact that the price quoted for them helping to call a taxi by the reception was by far higher than what it would normally cost to grab a taxi and use the meter"
"Facilities: The room is not small, the toilet is quite big, and the bathtub is not very convenient.
Hygiene: Not bad, no unclean places were found, the quilt was pilling, but it was still clean.
Environment: Next to the swimming pool, it is convenient to get in and out, and the overall environment is good.
Service: Very friendly, there is an uncle in the lobby who can speak simple Chinese, and he has been very enthusiastic to tell us what to do with the simple words he knows."
"There are a few things of the Nefertiti Hotel: 1. Excellent location (Luxor temple and museum is within working distance; a shopping street located just behind the hotel, with reasonable (bargained) price; supermarket round the corner with super delicious mango in summer); 2. Good buffet breakfast with plenty of fruit; 3. creative room service (with lovely shaped towels which surprised us every day)."

"The location is very good, just on the west bank of the Nile, very close to the Imperial Valley, Hab City, and the Queen's Temple of Hatshepsut.
The hotel is a typical Egyptian residence, the courtyard is very beautiful and comfortable.
The boss and his staff are very warm and the service is very thoughtful."
"The hotel is quite satisfactory, the location is convenient, but the surrounding environment is noisy. The room facilities are slightly old, and there are signs of wear and tear in some places. The bed is not very comfortable to sleep on, which affects the quality of sleep. In terms of service, the staff is friendly, but the response speed is slow, and sometimes the needs cannot be met in time. Overall, this hotel has no special highlights, and there are no major mistakes"
"I booked 10,000, but I missed the night stay because of the trip and arrived at the hotel at noon the next day. The boss said that we can stay in the room in the afternoon and continue to rest until we want to leave. It is very talkative and friendly and helps with luggage. Unfortunately, I stayed for an hour and couldn't make more evaluations, but the environment of the homestay itself looked very good and clean. The location is in the village on the west bank of Luxor, which is relatively dilapidated and remote, but not far from the Valley of the Emperor."
"The location of this hotel is average, about 5 minutes drive from the pier in the city center, but it takes 15 minutes to walk. There is no special business or shopping place nearby. There is a kfc across the road, where I ate two meals. The hotel was renovated about 20 years ago, so it revealed a very shabby sense of luxury. The hotel's elevator also needs to open the door manually, very nostalgic and not modern at all. But it is also a hotel that meets the basic conditions."
"I asked the gentleman at the hotel reception desk to arrange a return car ride from the hotel to Luxor Airport, exchanged a note confirming my intentions on the spot, and paid $15.
I thought it was a little strange that they said they couldn't issue a receipt because the receipt would be handed directly to the driver, but the driver who picked me up when I arrived at the airport on the day and the hotel staff said they didn't know anything about it and charged me $15.
Fortunately, I had time to spare, so I explained the situation and they understood, but that was a disappointment as the hotel itself was very nice and the rooms were spacious."
"The entrance location of the Karnake Temple is about the middle of the temple on the road from Luxor Temple. The navigation is not possible. The free travel is paid attention to and a large circle is circled. All temple hotels can report small groups with cars and it is convenient."

MMbali ThusiThe hotel was okay. The facilities were good and the staff are very helpful. The room is a little dated but still very nice and clean with an amazing pool. We were upgraded to a Nile view which was nice. The sunsets by the pool are also gorgeous. Great location as base for day trips in Luxor.
The only annoying thing was being pestered by vendors to buy at their shops inside the hotel(some wouldn’t take “no, thank you” for an answer), I understand they need to keep business going but all I wanted to do was relax by the pool after a long day of touring and fighting off vendors all day. The food here is also awful (gave free school hostel food vibes), we tried dinner twice and room service in addition to daily breakfast . We paid about 3000EGP for 1 buffet dinner and it was definitely not worth it. Our least favourite food from our 2weeks around Egypt. You can pay less for delicious food elsewhere.
The stay here was okay and staff were generally friendly and nice. No expectations of or demanding tips.
PPF73+ very good service from everyone at the reception to the staff at the restaurants
+excellent location- very close to Luxor Temple and Karnak temple and not very far from the other major sites such as Valley of the Kings
+breakfast buffet was lovely, fresh eggs made to order, pancakes and waffles and big selection of other foods you’d find in a hotel buffet
+I paid about $33 for a dinner buffet, which was great! Freshly made mini burgers were delicious. Cans of soft drink/juice/water included
KKeeganKBreakfast with an awesome view, good service.
Spread was decent, fresh fruits and egg station.
Room had a nice view of the garden which was kept clean daily by staffs.
Security was tight, felt safe throughout the whole stay.
GGuest UserExcellent hotel with great amenities. The room was clean and very good sized. The bathroom was also clean. We had the breakfast once and it was decent- a live egg station and a large variety of baked stuff, fruits, etc.
However, the hotel had an issue with their water supply. One staff mentioned it was a problem with their water pump and another staff mentioned that it was a general issue in Luxor- I am not sure which is the accurate reason. They did provide water bottles as a substitution to the lack of water and opened up the spa on the mezzanine for showers. We had a 5:30am departure from the hotel so went to take a shower at 3:30 am after confirming with the reception. There was no staff at the spa and I had to figure out which shower to use and find my own set of towels. The least expectation during an issue like this would be to staff the spa and help guests out.
GGuest UserThe hotel has great gardens, restaurants and a pool that overlook the river. These amenities are well maintained and give the hotel glamour. They are unbeatable. Should I say, if the outside grounds was like the inside the hotel this will be the best hotel in Luxor. Unfortunately the rooms needs some updating. On the other hand, the restaurant staff is super serviceable. Taking everything into account this hotel is excellently priced. I would return to enjoy the river from the lovely gardens.
RRchiThe hotel has a good location. The room was not luxurious but reasonably clean. Hot water comes out well and AC works well. The biggest reason to choose this hotel is that the staff are very friendly. Also the breakfast was reasonably good. After a hot day of travel, it's great to swim in the pool. The boss of the hotel offered an affordable tour, which I liked very much. I want to say thank you.
GGuest UserThis is the hotel I am most satisfied with during my one-week stay in Egypt. The staff are very patient, the environment is very good, the garden is beautiful, the security is also very good, and drivers with luggage are not allowed to enter, so it is very safe. The most unexpected thing is that there is also a Chinese restaurant. The scenery on the banks of the Nile is beautiful. I don't know where the bad reviews in the comments come from. The price and quality of a five-star hotel are really worth it. It is very close to the scenic spots. I came back to sleep when I was tired, and there was no charge. The time was extended for free after check-out. I was very touched. It is a very warm hotel. I will stay here again next time.
GGuest UserVery mixed feelings about the experience. Overall I would give 4 stars.
The Bad - only 1. The tour agency. We booked a tour guide and driver to take us to Dendera, Valley of Kings, Valley of Queens and Hatshepsut Temple - this was our itinerary. Our guide took us to all but refused to take us to the Valley of the Queens, instead trying to scam us by taking us to the Alabaster stone factory which was not on our itinerary and despite paying in advance to go to the Valley of Queens instead. The Alabaster stone factory is not a factory, it is a shop to coerce and scam tourists charging $150 for a small piece of rock which many tourists fall for. Tourists at other hotels also complained about this and saw many foreigners being scammed at these so called “factories”. So please be prepared for this and only stick to your schedule that you agreed beforehand.
The Good - the laundry, staff at the hotel (security, waiters, manager) was extremely helpful, kind and friendly. The rooms were amazing and the pool and location was great.
MMahesh BabuIt is a fabulous raw and Rustic location in theHeart of Luxor. Just for an local life experience, we moved from exotic beach hotel accomodation to this Hotel. We enjoyed our stay thoroughly!! Best part was the Terrace, It is amazing. The photos we shot on it were simply mesmerising!!

PPutri Nur ElGood and easy check in I arrived late night round 1 am and reception still available. Room seems old but neat and clean. Love the view from the rooftop/ restaurant, Nile river, baloon and mountain in west bank, also closeby Luxor tempel. It has pool but not big one. Breakfast not much variation but i like the omelete. Overall good experience
