"Staying at Capella Sanya again certainly confirmed those familiar sentiments: once you've experienced Capella, other hotels just don't quite measure up. Even after staying at over a hundred five-star hotels, and thirty in Hainan, I still feel Capella offers the best stay. A special thank you to Chris, the cultural and tourism officer, and the travel photography team. Improvements from our last visit: 1. Travel photography is now available, and the resulting photos are excellent. 2. The tennis court is now free and has no time limit. They even provide children's rackets, iced water, and iced towels – the attention to detail is superb. 3. Provided a dedicated car service to the station, greatly facilitating our journey to the next destination. 4. Used the gazebo for the first time. Especially after a fall that left me covered in sand, the gazebo's washing facilities were incredibly convenient. 5. Received complimentary champagne, making our 10th wedding anniversary feel truly special. 6. Had a dedicated discussion with the hotel management, which significantly deepened my understanding of the brand, making the stay experience more profound than superficial. 7. My child had the opportunity to play the piano and also saw the stunning high-altitude sea view of Tufu Bay, which is just as beautiful as Haitang Bay. 8. Experienced making my own cocktail at breakfast, something absolutely unheard of at other hotels, and it made up for a previous missed opportunity. 9. Children aren't allowed in the spa, but they can be looked after, which gave us great peace of mind. 10. The evening ceremony clashed with the crab-catching activity, but Chris, the cultural and tourism officer, took our child to catch crabs, allowing us to attend the evening ceremony without worry. This deserves high praise! 11. Received a full family souvenir gift. Every member was considered; in the past, souvenirs were only given to one person, but this time all three of us received one, which was a pleasant surprise. 12. The staff's service attitude has improved. The shuttle driver even came to our room door to pick us up, the pool lifeguard proactively called a car for us, and the manager conversed with us while kneeling the whole time. When we left, the car had driven quite a distance, but they were still waving goodbye. 13. There was an error in our booking, only reserving breakfast for one person, but the hotel provided a complimentary breakfast for the other person. Otherwise, the cost for an extra breakfast isn't low. A few points that weren't as good: 1. The explanation for the evening ceremony was unpracticed, the process was chaotic, and the sense of occasion was diminished. 2. Several communications happened during meal times, affecting our afternoon tea and breakfast experience. 3. There were some issues with the room's TV and electric curtain buttons. 4. The hotel activity schedule was less entertaining; the activities weren't as fun as before. Chris, the cultural and tourism officer, and his team provided a lot of information and suggestions. They truly consider the guests, making us feel at home. Only at Capella can you experience genuine butler service."

"Today is our third and a last day at this wonderful, beautiful, and green hotel. Our booking included a transfer from the airport to the hotel. A very polite driver in a large minivan met us immediately upon exiting the airport in Sanya. Our journey was very comfortable. We highly recommend booking a transfer through the hotel. Before our arrival we contacted the hotel about the transfer. We were lucky – the Russian-speaking butler Anna quickly arranged everything and added us to the chat. From that moment the professional and helpful and just a wonderful girl Anna was always in touch, answering all our questions and requests and was always available throughout our stay. A big thank to Anna! The hotel grounds are spacious and beautifully maintained, surrounded by palm trees and beautiful greenery. Particularly impressive is the huge, well-kept lawn, which will remain green in the scorching sun. Every detail has been carefully thought out. The hotel is large, but very quiet and peaceful. Breakfasts are varied and delicious, both buffet and à la carte. Every day, there are six types of freshly squeezed juices, plenty of fruit and ice cream. Dishes from the à la carte menu are served quickly. They even have a durian soufflé on the à la carte menu. At 1:00 PM a small buffet snack is available at the western reception. Two coconuts with the hotel seal are provided daily in one room. We booked the Junior Bay Ocean Suite. It's a two-room suite with a larger balcony and a sea view. The room is fully equipped, including a Nescafé coffee machine, robes, slippers, a Dyson hairdryer, scales and more. There's a clothesline on the balcony, which is very convenient. I'm glad this hotel is eco-friendly: water is provided in paper bags, wooden toothbrushes, a wooden comb and paper packaging. The room was cleaned very thoroughly and twice a day! We have never seen anything like this anywhere else. Tea and coffee are refilled promptly. The free minibar is refilled every three days. Now about the sea: there are waves all the time, so there are very few swimmers. But we swam and loved the waves. The sandy beach is very clean, and the sea is a stunningly beautiful color. The beach is equipped with sun loungers and umbrellas, and you can always find one. The pools are great, but the depth is only 1.2 meters. This is convenient for children, as well as for non-swimmers. For those who can swim, the pools are shallow. The pools have two waterslides: one for very small children, one for older kids. Sun loungers are always available by the pool. Large beach towels are provided at the pools. There’s a tourist street outside the hotel just a 10-minute walk away with cafes and shops where you can try local food, tropical fruits, and even a shop selling durian, which you can also eat right there. We highly recommend this hotel. We'll definitely come back!"

"The Kimpton Shimao Clearwater Bay is a six-star hotel that truly excels in every aspect, from its hardware and services to its intricate details and overall experience. This is not an advertisement, I genuinely mean it! 1. **Exquisite Design:** The public areas are stunning, with picturesque views at every turn – a paradise for detail-oriented guests. Every corner is Instagram-worthy, feeling more like an art museum than a hotel. The rooms are top-notch, with excellent amenities. The most delightful surprise was the hand-painted glass art created especially for our anniversary, a truly thoughtful touch. 2. **Exceptional Service:** * We used a secret phrase at the front desk and received a cute blind box and a commemorative pendant. * The in-room ”treasure chest” was incredibly practical: it included a full sun protection set (sunglasses, sunscreen, aloe vera gel), nail clippers, eye masks, and more, anticipating all sorts of forgotten essentials. * The Guest Relations Specialist, Vicky, deserves special praise! She contacted us by phone in advance and managed to upgrade us to a sea-view room despite the high occupancy during the summer. She also proactively arranged for the anniversary hand-painting and even sent us a Westie doll that we'd requested. Her warm and responsive service was truly touching. * Sales Manager KK was efficient in recording our needs and coordinating arrangements, proving both professional and reliable. 3. **Fantastic Public Areas:** The hotel's public areas are a veritable ”resort playground,” guaranteeing no boredom: in addition to various swimming pools, there's a lazy river, waterfall curtain, non-motorized water sports facilities, and more, complemented by numerous relaxation zones. Towels, mineral water, kickboards, and swimming rings are all readily available. There's even an e-sports area, which was astonishing. The overall greenery design is also aesthetically pleasing, and the outdoor public areas offer endless photo opportunities. My only regret is not booking an extra day. 4. **Abundant Dining Options:** There are many restaurants, and we didn't have a chance to try them all. Our room included social hour, drink vouchers, and the in-room mini-bar, providing more than enough to eat and drink. To be honest, the breakfast was visually more appealing than it was flavorful, but overall, it was definitely above average."

"Our stay at Hainan Sanyue Hotel was a delightful surprise. The hotel exudes a strong moon-themed ambiance, surrounded by coconut groves, creating a tranquil and elegant environment. The rooms are spacious and airy, impeccably clean, and the bedding is soft and comfortable. The balcony offers an expansive view of the beautiful sea. The resort facilities are comprehensive; the tropical rainforest water park and the 'Love Bunny' children's playground offer great fun. The infinity pool is perfect for photos, and there's a private beach within walking distance. The restaurant boasts a wide variety of dishes, and the breakfast selection is diverse and delicious. The staff are warm and attentive, check-in was efficient, and all our requests were promptly addressed. It's truly a perfect spot for a family vacation, and we'll definitely choose this hotel again on our next visit to Hainan."

"Our family trip with kids was amazing in the park view twin room! The room offered an excellent view, allowing us to enjoy the spectacular fireworks and drone show right from the fireworks viewing platform. Our butler, Xiao Zou, provided thoughtful and attentive service, responding promptly to all our requests and arranging everything perfectly. He contacted us in advance about our arrival time and kept track of room availability, so we had a room ready immediately after check-in. He also went above and beyond to handle special requests. We spent three days and two nights exploring Ocean Kingdom, and even got to experience the Miyazaki-themed train. The facilities were complete and clean, the environment was beautiful, and the overall experience was fantastic. It's truly ideal for family trips with children, and we'll definitely choose to stay here again next time! Everything was perfectly arranged!"

"I came to Sanya and stayed at the Indigo Lingshui first. I was really impressed by the hotel's design, and the room was incredibly spacious. The breakfast had a great variety, and our butler, Ivy, was very attentive, even bringing us a delicious blueberry cake in the evening. The value for money for this sea-view room is truly excellent, and the hotel's common areas are perfect for photos. I'm very satisfied!"

"The buffet dinner at Clearwater Bay Weipers offers a wide variety of dishes. You'll find everything from Japanese sashimi and freshly grilled steaks to various seafood options and Chinese hot dishes. After your meal, there are desserts and chilled fruits to cleanse your palate. The craft zone is truly excellent, featuring a large soft play area as well as a super rich DIY craft zone where children and parents can create together. The staff are very patient in teaching the kids. The venue also offers a diverse range of activities like bumper cars, arcade games, and a sandpit treasure hunt, blending both active and quiet fun. The family restrooms are thoughtfully equipped with slippers, and there's a spacious resting and dining area. You can also relax and enjoy some craft creation. The park is clearly sectioned and clean, with an indoor constant temperature, so you don't have to worry about sun or rain. It's a one-stop solution that meets the needs of children of all ages. For family vacations, I think it's truly great – it frees up parents' hands."

"We stayed for 5 days, and some of the front desk staff had a really strange, even arrogant, attitude! Whenever we went to the front desk with a question, they acted very superior. On our first day, the pool water quality was quite poor. On the fifth day, when we went for a swim again, the water was much clearer. I asked a staff member why the water was so good today, wondering if they had changed it. They said they hadn't changed it but had turned on the circulation filter. So then I asked, 'Why wasn't it on the previous days, and only today?' They just stayed silent after that 🙊! Also, the breakfast – we stayed for five consecutive days, and the breakfast was basically the same every single day. The only thing that changed was the stir-fried vegetables; everything else was identical! However, the hotel's scenery is really beautiful, and the landscaping is great. Plus, there's a hot spring ♨️ available every day, and they actually change the water daily – I specifically observed that. Taking a dip in the hot spring during summer is quite enjoyable."

"Haluoha Hotel offers great value for money overall. We stayed in a Sea View Suite this time, and its location is superb – very close to the beach, just a few steps walk. It's incredibly convenient to enjoy the sea views right outside. We chose a ground floor unit that came with a spacious private courtyard, perfect for a family reunion. We were able to have a self-service BBQ in the yard, which created a wonderful atmosphere and was ideal for a family gathering. The hotel service left a great impression. During check-in, the concierge proactively helped us with our luggage, which was very thoughtful and attentive. The housekeeping staff were also very kind and meticulous; they kept the room clean and tidy, making our stay extremely comfortable. The entire suite was spacious and had a strong home-like feel, making it very suitable for families vacationing together. Whether it was playing by the sea during the day or having a relaxing meal in the courtyard in the evening, everything was perfect. Our overall travel experience was smooth and pleasant, and both the facilities and the staff's service attitude deserve high praise. I highly recommend this place for family trips. We will definitely prioritize staying here again for our next family vacation!"

"For this trip, I booked two hotels: Narada and Raffles. Narada definitely offered better value for money. Firstly, having a private pool for each villa was incredibly convenient when traveling with kids. Secondly, the service was excellent; staff were basically on call and addressed our needs quickly. Breakfast was also much better than expected. Even though the hotel was fully booked, it still felt uncrowded, making it a very comfortable place for a relaxing hotel vacation. If I had to pick a con, it would be that the hotel's main restaurant was relatively expensive. However, many seafood restaurants nearby offer free pick-up and drop-off within a 5km radius, so it wasn't a major issue."
