GGuest UserRoom: The decor is cozy, beautiful, and very new. Much better than the adjacent Lai X hotel.
Hygiene: Very good. The kids loved the small pool.
Environment: Although the public areas aren't huge, there's plenty for kids to do, including a drift play area.
Service: Our butler, Vicky, was incredibly responsive and always happy to help. She even assisted with sending a package, which was very thoughtful!
Other: Kids get their own special room card, and upon check-in, they immediately receive a West Highland Terrier toy.
Breakfast: You can order directly from the à la carte menu, no need to specifically ask like at Lai X.

SSiqierOur first stop for the holiday was the Indigo Sanya Clearwater Bay, and it turned out to be an excellent choice. Before we even checked in, our butler, Summer, sent us an introduction to the hotel and recommendations for local food, which really built up our excitement. I have to give a huge shout-out to my butler! First, she upgraded our room, then, knowing I was on my period, she brought me brown sugar ginger tea. On our last night, she surprised me with cake and red wine. Oh my goodness, how can someone be so wonderful? My chat history with her is just full of 'thank yous' 🥹. The rafting was super fun, the pool was great for a dip, the gym was perfect for a run, and the public areas were beautiful for photos, no matter where you shot. Lying in bed and looking out at the sea was incredibly relaxing! Oh, and I also fell in love with the hotel's umbrellas – they're super cute. I asked for the purchase details and plan to have one shipped home.

The hotel is sparkling new and clean, with a modern and luxurious design. There's absolutely no new-decoration smell. From the lobby to the rooms, every detail is exquisitely crafted. The blue and white ocean theme is incredibly soothing and perfect for photos! The facilities, bedding, and bathroom amenities are all premium brands, making for a comfortable and reassuring stay.

* All wall and table corners are protected with anti-collision strips, so kids can run around barefoot without worrying about bumps.

Before my stay at Capella Sanya, it might have just been an abstract design concept. However, during this trip, thanks to the attentive care of our Capella Culture Explorer, Diana, this statement became tangible and vivid.
🌿 More than just a hotel, a true “local guide”
What touched me most was Diana's professionalism. Unlike generic, rehearsed speeches, she knew the local area like the back of her hand. When I asked for dining recommendations, she didn't just rattle off the hotel's internal restaurants. Instead, she genuinely recommended unique local eateries and even bustling night markets. This sincerity, going beyond the hotel's boundaries and thinking from the guest's perspective, truly embodies the essence of Capella's “Culture Explorer” concept.
🏎️ Meticulous “predictive” service
Diana’s service logic wasn't reactive; it was proactively predictive.
Knowing I was heading to a restaurant, she always arranged a buggy transfer for me right away.
She seemed to have a “precise clock” in her head, always knowing when I'd finish my meal and proactively asking for feedback afterwards.
When faced with a less-than-perfect dining experience, she responded quickly and resolved it perfectly. This feeling of being cared for and constantly looked after is the core premium offered by a luxury hotel.
🥥 Personalized tenderness in the details
One detail that made me feel incredibly cared for: I casually mentioned that I wanted something light to eat late at night to avoid burdening my stomach. Diana remembered this and proactively arranged for the rich dessert to be replaced with a refreshing coconut. This kind of intuitive service – “understanding what you say and making things happen” – is far more delightful than standard SOPs.
Conclusion:
While the architecture of Capella Sanya is undeniably stunning, what truly makes me want to return are exceptional Culture Explorers like Diana. She transforms luxury from cold marble and expensive bedding into a warm, humanistic care that flows through every detail.

Overall, the experience was fantastic value for money, and I'll definitely be back!
The cleanliness was spot on; I didn't find a single flaw, though some of the equipment was a bit dated. The service was prompt and efficient. The room attendant was incredibly thoughtful; knowing we needed mineral water for our baby's formula, she proactively provided extra bottles. Such heartwarming attention to detail! The front desk staff were also very helpful and answered all our questions.
I have to rave about the hotel's new soup and dish restaurant! There was a cold dish that was absolutely delicious – we ordered it two days in a row. The best part is the price, which was incredibly affordable, even better value than ordering takeout from Clear Water Bay. What's even more impressive is that everything is freshly prepared, not pre-made, so you can eat with peace of mind and comfort.
The family activities are abundant and well-suited for younger children. The petting zoo has a huge variety of animals. Although there's an extra charge, my child played there for over an hour and didn't want to leave. It was absolutely worth the price, and my baby had a blast.
Overall, I'm very satisfied with everything. It's definitely a top choice for a family vacation and is already on my list for a second visit!

Service: The only drawback is that I arrived at the hotel around 21:00 in the evening, there was no one at the door, and the parking space was full. I didn’t know where to park. However, this shortcoming was compensated by the excellent service of a staff member named Xiaogang. I hope you will continue to work hard to make Wulan better.

MMICHELLNESSMy friend stayed here last time, and we decided to return to this hotel again. We booked a suite because there were four of us, and the price was quite reasonable for the season. It has a large terrace, and sitting out there at night with the sea breeze and beautiful view was lovely. I heard this is the beach where 'Sisters Who Make Waves' was filmed. The beach is private, so there are very few people, and the water temperature isn't cold, making it perfect for swimming. The hotel's breakfast was also good, and the butler service was very attentive. The room cleaning was well done. There's a night market nearby, which is convenient for dining. It's definitely a recommended hidden gem.

However, if you have high requirements for the beach and sea color directly connected to the hotel, please consider it carefully. It is very convenient to take a taxi to Fenjiezhou Island, which is only a dozen minutes' drive away. The price is really super suitable, which is why I chose this place this time. In general, it is very cost-effective.
