"The sea view was absolutely stunning, and my kids loved it! Head up to the 7th floor rooftop for an even more amazing sunrise and sunset experience. The front desk service was excellent too; they were very prompt with printing and opening doors for us. It's a testament to their popularity that there's a constant stream of guests at the front desk, even at this time of year. The surrounding area, a Tanka fishing village, has a relaxed, down-to-earth vibe that we really enjoyed. In the evening, we could stroll along the boardwalk on the opposite beach and even saw some 'catch-the-sea' aunties (women foraging for seafood). The only minor drawback was that the cleanliness could have been a little better."

"After exiting the high-speed rail station, someone from the guesthouse was already there to pick us up. The next day, someone drove us to Fenjiezhou Island. When we wanted to visit nearby beaches, they lent us electric scooters for free, and cruising around was super enjoyable! The young ladies and the drivers were all very enthusiastic. In the evening, they brought us some fruit, and breakfast was provided in the morning. On top of all that, the accommodation price was really affordable – excellent value for money! Five-star rating! The picture shows the coconuts in the yard; there were so many hanging there."

This stay was great! The hotel room is large and clean, elegantly furnished, and it is particularly comfortable to stay. The surrounding environment is quiet and can make people completely relax. The room was clean and tidy, with all the necessary amenities. Xiao He responded to any questions immediately and even thoughtfully shared local hidden gems and travel routes, helping us avoid many pitfalls. The entire experience was comfortable and worry-free, like having a reliable friend taking care of us in a strange city. The top-tier hotels in Hainan live up to their reputation, and Capella certainly didn't disappoint. Capella is located in Tufu Bay, which is quieter compared to Sanya's Haitang Bay and Lingshui's Qingshui Bay. The hotel has a limited number of rooms, but the decor exudes an 'old money' aesthetic – very upscale. The greenery is exceptional, making it easy to walk anywhere within the hotel, though there's also a shuttle service. Strolling around after a meal is quite pleasant. The entire hotel features numerous circular ponds and lush lawns, offering picturesque views at every turn, perfect for photos. Compared to other luxury hotels nearby, Capella has fewer people doing photoshoots, making it relatively peaceful and truly relaxing. It's an ideal place to spend a few days simply unwinding. Lounging in the lobby and gazing at the circular skylight is also very comfortable. The bedding is excellent; the duvet and sheets are incredibly soft and skin-friendly, providing great comfort. The towels are gray, which feels more sophisticated than pure white. I also thoroughly enjoyed the hotel's fitness facilities. I tried the large pool by the beach, the smaller pool at the spa center, and the hard tennis court. The gym is spacious and well-equipped with machines, dumbbells, and a yoga room. Overall, it's excellent. The tennis court even had iced towels and cold water prepared in advance, which was a thoughtful touch. I also visited the spa center, and the ambiance, aromatherapy, and massage techniques were all first-rate. The hotel's Thai and Chinese restaurants are both distinctive. The Chinese restaurant was particularly considerate, offering half-portions for solo diners, which was very thoughtful. Finally, I must extend a special thanks to our butler, Linda. She was attentive and enthusiastic in introducing the hotel, provided welcome fruits and coconuts, prepared Qingbuliang (a traditional cooling dessert) for me after my workout, and was incredibly responsive to all my requests. She was truly outstanding.

I traveled with my best friend and stayed at the hotel for two days, so I wanted to write a proper review. We didn't do any research before choosing Xiangshui Bay; we just picked this hotel when we saw it. We drove there ourselves, which was convenient. The hotel is about 700-800 meters from the street, located in a villa area. The butler had informed us of our license plate number beforehand, as other cars aren't allowed in this area. Upon entering the villa area, I was struck by how large it was, but it felt a bit deserted. The check-in area wasn't what I expected. Having stayed at Raffles Hotel before, I assumed it would be similar, but there were only two young men there to greet us. However, I must say that the two men who greeted us were incredibly patient, and they should have upgraded my room for free—it was a whopping 500 square meters! After check-in, the butler took us to our room, and wow, it was huge! It took several minutes to get there in the sightseeing vehicle. Now, let's talk about the hotel itself. For this price, the room was excellent value. While the hotel facilities weren't particularly new, they were comprehensive and very comfortable. We had such a pleasant stay that we didn't want to leave. The butler was always available, which was wonderful. The hotel's public areas were a bit messy, perhaps due to the heavy rain, but the overall scenery was nice. I wasn't very satisfied with the food; breakfast wasn't a buffet. The hotel has its own restaurant, but it seemed rather empty. It's better to eat outside the hotel; the seafood restaurant across the street is particularly delicious, with great taste and reasonable prices. For those who prefer a quieter atmosphere, this is a great place. Renting a car would be more convenient, as it's quite far from the hotel. I would definitely bring friends here again next time. ✌️

I was pleasantly surprised to find such a great value room during the summer holiday. The room was spacious and had a balcony. The front desk staff were very friendly and even provided complimentary breakfast. The swimming pool, while not huge, was perfectly adequate for the kids to have fun. The breakfast selection was rich and varied. It's also not too far from nearby attractions. All in all, I'm very satisfied.

The resort grounds are full of coconut trees, the pool is clean, and the greenery looks incredibly pleasant. The room was clean and spacious, and the bed was super soft – I had a great night's sleep. The breakfast spread was substantial, and the egg tarts were delicious. They also had sweet potato and corn balls, and the buffet was fully stocked. Both the lobby and outdoor areas were spotless, giving off a strong island holiday vibe. It's been raining in Lingshui these past few days, so the weather has been cool and refreshing, and the air quality is genuinely good.

Comfortable, relaxing, and no crowds. It is a Marriott, after all, and while it's an older property, there are no major issues. Our room opened right onto the pool, and then beyond that, the beach. It was uncrowded, so no need to fight for sun loungers! For the kids, it was beach then pool, pool then beach... as long as they were in the ocean. For the adults, as long as there weren't too many people blocking my view, haha. Breakfast and dinner were good too, and the staff were friendly – high marks all around. A special shout-out to He Cui, who helped us with everything before and after our meals, with such a great attitude!

This is a great hotel. Our sea-view room offered stunning ocean views right from the window. The breakfast was decent. The large bed room is perfect for a family with two adults and one child. It's incredibly convenient to take the kids to the beach for swimming and digging in the sand, as it's practically right there. The hotel's off-season prices are reasonable, making it a good choice for those looking to travel during non-peak times.

This hotel is peacefully located inside a residential area as an independent building, so it is far enough from the traffic and noise of the main road. The area has many amenities such as swimming pool, basketball courts, and it is a short walk to Perfume Bay. The bed is comfortable. The balcony is large and the upper floor rooms have a nice sea view up to Wanning coast and Fenjiezhou, it is beautiful at night. There is free buffet for breakfast, any many restaurants and shops in the road outside. Staff is helpful, and they let me charge my bike for free.
