You can often see various birds and eagles, which is very suitable for people who like quietness and close to nature. The swimming pool is my favorite part. It is open almost all day. When swimming in the early morning or evening, I feel that the whole pool and the world belong to me, which makes people feel relaxed. The restaurant is also facing the pool. When dining, you can enjoy the beautiful scenery and feel the tranquility of nature. After breakfast every day, I will sit on the platform to read or handle work. The atmosphere is quiet and the temperature is suitable. Looking back on the entire 20-day journey in Sri Lanka, this is one of the few places where I can read with peace of mind. The hotel is far from the city, and it may take 20 to 30 minutes of driving time for tourists who want to explore Kandy city. Secondly, the professionalism of service details can be improved. For example, there was a service staff performing local dances at check-in, but it was obviously perfunctory. After that, the hotel arranged a dedicated waiter and handed me a mobile phone for contact at any time, but her service seemed unfamiliar. For example, when I was in the room, I asked whether the curtains were manual or electric. After she answered that they were manual, she demonstrated and opened the curtains again. At that time, it was 6 or 7 o'clock in the evening. It was completely dark and there was no need to open it at all. The same waiter would ask me what I wanted to eat every morning at breakfast. Second, the quality of service felt unrefined. For example, upon check-in, staff members performed a traditional song and dance, but it felt half-hearted. Later, I was assigned a personal service staff member and given a phone for direct contact. However, the staff member seemed inexperienced. For instance, when I asked if the curtains were manual or electric, they demonstrated how to close them but then reopened them, even though it was already 6-7 p.m. and completely dark outside. These small details reflected a lack of polish in the service. Another minor issue was at breakfast. Every morning, I chose cereal and was asked if I preferred coconut syrup or honey. I answered “coconut syrup” every time, but the staff still asked me the same question every day. While it’s a small matter, it suggests room for improvement in their service process. Overall, the Jetwing Kandy Gallery is a great place to relax and connect with nature. The rooms, pool, and surrounding environment are excellent. If the hotel could enhance its service details, such as being more attentive to guests’ habits and preferences, the experience would be even better."
