GGuest UserThis is my birthday trip to Macau with my wife, we struggled to choose which hotel to stay around this area, in the end we decided to stay here and found out it was totally worth it! By stepping in the hotel Mr Patrick directly helped us by taking our luggage and took us to the reception, Ms Carol who helped us check in was super nice and professional, Ms Jacey walked us to our hotel room and did a nice tour, then we met Delfin and Nelson amazing house keeping team! The birthday decoration was surprising and the amenities was really good. Hotel Nuwa will always be my first choice and highly recommend to my friends and families! Special thanks to all the staff!
Also the location is super convenient.
BbeebiezI had a not so good experience staying at this hotel. I arrived around 3:15pm and the room was still not ready. Front desk staff told us that we still need to wait another 45 minutes or so, and offered us free welcome drinks at the lounge beside, well that’s the least they could do when check-in time was supposed to be at 3:00pm. I requested higher floors and they only gave me a room on the 17th floor, and there are like 30+ floors. They told me that’s the only room available, I’m disappointed in that as I have booked my room a few days ago and waited so long at checkin.
I requested a non-smoking room, but when I entered the room there was a pungent smell of cigarette smoking. I immediately contact front desk and requested a room change but they refused and told me that’s the only room they have available (would that be possible in such a big hotel?). The hotel just brought an air purifier, which only kill germs but does not deodorize, and we had to face with the smell of cigarettes during our stay.
In general the room was spacious and had modern design, just not too practical. The bathroom is large but the shower and the bathtub is very far separated, which is very inconvenient after a bath to walk all the way to the shower when you’re all wet. They also have an electric toilet, but the toilet board itself is very small, I wonder how a tall foreigner can sit on it?
One thing I would like to compliment is that the welcome fruits are very fresh and there are many snacks to choose from.
The indoor pools is not up to standard as it is relatively small in size, only good for children to play, and also they only had a few chairs for swimmers to use.
The hotel is far from the main area of the studio city centre, we had walk quite a bit to the main area where all the shops and restaurants are.
The entrance is “enclosed” but building besides, so feeling much isolated when entering from the front entrance.
GGuest UserThe hotel room is decently sized for two and has a wonderful view of the old town.
The cafe at the lobby serves good coffee and Madz Kitchen just beside the hotel ( walk out the hotel and turn left) serves amazing Portuguese cuisine that will make you swallow your tongue.
Take a walk around the hotel building, the graffiti art brings out a different side of Macau.
AAnonymous UserEverything was great except the receptionist at the counter was inattentive. She did not greet us with joy, also no eye contact and smile, and she answered our questions abruptly. In addition, some guests in the hotel were disrespectful and talked loudly in their rooms with doors opened.
MMohammad Ali IkramI recently had a wonderful stay at Yoho Hollywood Macau Roosevelt hotel and I can recommend it to everyone! The rates were fantastic, and the rooms were incredibly comfortable. One of the highlights was the balcony that came with my room, providing a perfect spot to unwind.
What truly made my experience exceptional was the staff. Everyone, from the reception team to housekeeping, the staff at the gym, connivence store and restaurants contributed to a welcoming atmosphere. I want to give a special shoutout to Ouan, Lok, Terry, Melvin, Stanley, and Barry for their kindness and support throughout my stay.
Overall, my time was outstanding, and I can’t wait to return! Thank you to everyone for making my stay wonderful.
AAlfie&BillieWe booked 3 rooms of this category and they had to move us around due to the renovation noise. Not a problem though! I was on the 16th floor and the view was beautiful. The rooms are spacious and clean - having a cup of tea with the view was wonderful. The lifts are fast. The staff are very friendly and nice. They even ran down to the road to call us a taxi when there were none in the hotel. There’s a POPMART at the entrance of the hotel 😂 The housekeeping staff always made the bed beautifully and restocked my towels everyday. The pool area is beautiful and the hotel is well serviced by buses/taxis/walking. A pleasant stay - I wish it was longer.
KKmmmyUpon entering this hotel, you can feel the exhilarating vibes, and wonderful services!!
Hotel accommodation in Macau is very expensive at sometime and I have learned this place so much worth it!i have enjoyed a lot and all is well during my stay here..
The room is big, clean and very relaxing….
The swimming pool is so nice, stress reliever!!
The staff are very approachable and kind.
The food is so delicious!!
Thanks Casa Real….
GGuest UserNot enough check in/out counters. We ordered an extra bed room and need to request setup and supplies after check-in. Breakfast selection was limited and mostly cold food served, and the noodle bar could be more flexible to accommodate guest needs. Perhaps consider offering bacon as a start. Surprised a 5-star hotel doesn't have English movie channels. The 5/F dim sum restaurant was good. The staff were generally friendly.
DDr.SrinivasDuring our recent stay at the Holiday Inn Macau, where we booked two rooms for three adults and one child, we had a delightful time. The hotel’s prime location made it easy for us to explore the vibrant surroundings and nearby attractions. Our accommodations were spacious and well-maintained, providing a cozy atmosphere for our family. The staff stood out with their warm hospitality, always ready to assist us with a smile. We were particularly impressed by the breakfast spread, which catered to various tastes and was enjoyable for both adults and children. My child loved the pool area, which offered a safe and entertaining environment to unwind. Overall, our experience at the Holiday Inn Macau exceeded our expectations, and I highly recommend it for families seeking a comfortable and convenient stay in this lively city.
