Vincci Selección Posada del Patio

Malaga City Center Malaga|2.98km from San Rafael Park
This hotel sits on the bank of a non-existing river just at the very beginning of the old town of Malaga. Actually, it is on top of the old medieval town wall with some Roman parts. It can be seen through the glass floors you walk on at the entrance to the hotel and even better a half level down. It is fantastic! The whole reception area is very airy and beautiful. Our room was large and very nice. The bed was soft, a very unusual luxury in continental Europa which I very much appreciated. However, there could have been more than one chair in such a large room. It is now completely dominated by the bed. The bathroom was rather big and included two wash basins. Even if it was a bathtub and not a shower, which I prefer, it was well covered with full glass doors, so it worked fine. The only disadvantage was the high walls of the bathtub and together with the internal three steps stair up to the bathroom and entrance it is not very good for those who have restricted movement abilities. Our room had three full lengths windows, so called French windows looking out into a nice car free area. Unfortunately, the hotel was in my view overcautious since they had put a number of large red stickers on them that completely spoiled everything, otherwise it could have been very nice. The breakfast was good with a large buffet, the only thing that could have been added was an omelette chef. The staff in the breakfast room was very nice and even more so those in the reception. I liked this hotel very much.

Eurostars Malaga

Lousy customer service, the room was super small, bad smell and the staff a lot to be desired, they have several services for selling products and drinks, but I think they are not hygienic enough, I ordered a Nespresso espresso and the girl at Reception took the coffee capsule with his hands and he didn't give me the coffee until I finished charging with the dataphone, meanwhile he dug the capsule from rubbing it with his hands, for the dataphone and others, the service for him was not good at all price, very bad

Stayed at Hotel beginning of October for 3 nights. Brilliant location if travelling from Airport by train (10 minutes & about 3 euros. Hotel attached to Maria Zambrano train station (don't go to Central!) 2 minute walk from escalators. Also convenient enough for Malaga old town. Staff were all really friendly & helpful. Room was good - large, well equipped, large comfy bed - air con a bit noisy. Small roof top pool with bar a great place to relax. Breakfast buffet brilliant - OK the scrambled eggs were a bit overdone, but even the toaster made good toast quickly (usually the bane of hotel breakfasts!) And a whole honey comb with real honey on offer. We really enjoyed our stay - wouldn't hesitate to go back if we were staying in Malaga.

We loved this hotel. It has an elevator (lift) Our room was spacious, very clean and the beds were comfy and made up daily. The bathroom was clean and the shower worked well. Breakfast was included for us at Hotel Don Paco, about 2 blocks away. The breakfast buffet was excellent with eggs, bacon, mini croissants and bread, cereal, fruit, coffee and several juices. The hotel is just a short walk from the Maria Zambrano train station, perhaps 15 minutes. We also found several tapas bars a couple blocks away, plus an ATM 4 blocks. HINT: We found it hard to flag down taxis in the vicinity of Hotel Zeus. The best way we found was to walk to the train station, where there is always a taxi waiting!

I visited Malaga with my daughter and we loved this hotel. The staff were friendly and welcoming. Our room was very spacious, cleaned every day to a good standard. The beds were so comfy and the shower decent. The windows were well sound proofed from the busy road and covered with good quality blackout curtains. The breakfast was lovely with great choice. Only thing we would have liked is some complimentary water and tea/coffee making facilities in our room. There is a drinks/vending machine in the reception area though at a cost. The hotel is attached to a large shopping centre and close by to another and 10 minute walk to the main shopping street in the centre. The hotel is a little further away from the other attractions, maybe 20-25 minute walk. We used the city sightseeing bus which was a great way to get about, especially for getting up the hill to see the castle, which would not have been easy in the 35 degree heat. We used Ubers on a night which are really cheap and efficient. We also loved the Gaudi building over the road, which we could see from our window. Overall a really lovely stay
Residencia Universitaria Campus Malaga

I love staying at Residencias Universitarias when travelling through Spain because they are typically very modern, well maintained and the rooms have a nice kitchenette. This one in particular was truly nice, with an impressive inner courtyard and modern styling. It seems to be quite recently built. You can take the Metro to the city centre or walk 25 minutes, as I did. Malaga is amazing, and this place made it even better!
