"I booked 3 junior suits, we were traveling 5 adults and 4 children and in the reservation it was clearly stated that children from 3 to 7 years old entered the room for free. We arrived and they did not have my reservation and they put us in 3 normal rooms with an extra very uncomfortable bed. One of the very small rooms, with a strong smell of tobacco and facing the highway, we could not sleep well. I would like a refund of the overcharge. Thank you"
"The red level is reserved for free use of the Executive Lounge on the second floor. It serves a variety of snacks and drinks. The room is facing the sea. Bathroom amenities are Clarins. Overall satisfaction, sunbathe and drink something."

"This hotel does a really good job of capturing the “Hard Rock” vibe so if you’re into that you’ll enjoy your stay at this property. Lots of memorabilia dotted around, great music and some lovely touches around the hotel.
We stayed in a deluxe room which was small but furnished to a good standard with a very comfy bed. Bathroom was well equipped and the balcony was a decent size. Jukebox feature on the TV is excellent and allows you to get the party started before you go out or continue it after hours in your room. Having YouTube on the TV is handy too.
The pools were good, there’s 2 pretty large ones and they look great during the day and night.
The rooftop deck is quite chilled, it has a bar and an infinity pool with beds to suit everyone really, lots of variety so standard cushioned beds and lower body shaped beds. There are several “Bali beds” that come with a 150 Euro minimum spend. Sounds like alot but the food & drink isn’t cheap so can be done relatively easily if you plan to stay at the pool all day and have lunch. The pools are shallow but a good size and the infinity pool offers a brilliant view over the second pool area. The second pool area features a stage and DJ booth at the top of the pool and is louder. The pool parties that Hard Rock offer are held here during the day as well so bear that in mind when selecting your bed. There is an “Eden Cafe” in this area offering burgers and the like during the day and the main “Sessions” restaurant that serves breakfast and dinner too if you book half board.
We booked bed & breakfast so didn’t eat dinner at the property. We did have lunch on our first afternoon at the Eden cafe and it was very good. The breakfast offers an excellent selection & its tasty. They also have a musicians playing a different instrument each day on the outdoor terrace which is a nice touch.
The bar area in the lobby lacks atmosphere and is a little on the slow side to get a drink. The cocktails are good though and its worthwhile having a drink there, especially if a live band is on.
Service at the hotel was very good overall and we very much enjoyed our stay. The bellhops in particular are excellent. They provided us with a “courtesy room” on checkout day (we had a late flight) which was a nice touch after having checked out already and been out all day.
The location of the hotel was further out than we thought and required you to either walk through a large, unkept subway or walk down narrow busy roads with several hills. The subway route is best and takes around 15 mins to Porto Banus but is not ideal at night. We had no issues and saw no undesirables but I do think Hard Rock could do more to make that subway more inviting (clean it, add their branding, have music playing etc). I don’t think they own it but perhaps they should take ownership of how it looks at the very least as it could quite easily put some people off staying at the hotel.
The “****** Marbella” is attached to the hotel. It’s a nice ****** but lacks atmosphere. You also need your passport to enter (I had to go back to the room) so bear that in mind too. There is a handy supermarket opposite the hotel that has a great selection of snacks, ice cream, toiletries, booze etc plus it’s really cheap. There’s a lovely little bar called “Park Lane Sports Bar” that is family run and really charming. The drinks are cheap and the people who run it are very friendly. The resident dog “Lolo” is also quite a character and really makes the bar. We also ate at a lovely little Spanish restaurant called “Noto” - the prawns, pizza and service was excellent.
There are more luxurious hotels to stay in Marbella and hotels in nicer locations but for a party vibe, good food & drink, strong pool decks and friendly service the Hard Rock is a solid choice."
"It should be a better five-star hotel in Marbella, but the experience is average and will not stay again. The picture of the Ctrip suite does not match the actual situation. It is actually a sofa in an ordinary hotel room, and the room has a musty smell. Ctrip indicated that it will open in 2020. I thought it was a new hotel. The actual decoration is relatively old. I don't understand why it is a hotel opened in 2020. The front desk service does not meet the five-star standard. The procedures are completed in the morning and the room card is picked up in the afternoon. There is a person at the front desk, very slow, and waited for a long time.
The advantage of the hotel is that there are many restaurants, it feels good to eat at night, the location is by the sea, and the walk is very comfortable."
"The location is very good, a few steps to the beach and various restaurants, the underground parking garage is too small, although it is not expensive, but the entry and exit is too narrow and novices recommend that you stop by the road at night, generally between 8 and 9 o'clock to 8 o'clock the next day is free."
"I spent the weekend in villa marina, I thought the place was nice and cosy, very quite place with good connection to puerto buanos but there is no daily housekeeping and i think it’s overpriced"

Amazing
GGuest UserThe location is in the old city, quiet location in the middle of noisy, that is, enjoy the quiet environment and can easily reach the lively place in the center of the city, not far from the sea; parking can choose free parking spaces outside the old city;
The joint villa has a total of 4 rooms, the room is fully equipped, the bathroom is clean and disposable, the living room design has a unique ethnic style, and there is also a small garden. It is very pleasant to sit and have a cup of coffee in the morning.
In short, it was a good stay experience 👍

GGuest UserSuper location but no hotel parking and parking nearby is really expensive. Hotel is fresh and modern throughout with an excellent bar service and a nice restaurant. Breakfast is a bit of a disappointment with poor quality machine coffee and a selection of food that’s not worthy of the €15 per person rate - there are much better and more cost effective options nearby the hotel, especially for coffee. The rooms are a little cooler than may be liked by some guests but reception can warm them if necessary. Overall a lovely hotel, well located and just short of perfect!

Location is the best! Only 1 block from beach and walking distance to everything.
A few negatives were that there was a strange fishy smell in our room and the toilet button to flush was difficult to flush. Would have liked more towels as well. Washcloth and extra bath towels. Iron didn’t work either. Better coffee options and some bottled water would have been nice too.
Otherwise, would definitely return to this location.

CClaire MThe location of Don Alfredo is unbeatable!!!
You basically fall out of the hotel and into the old town of Marbella. That said, the hotel is not one of the newest and it's a bit rocked down, but still well kept. The room was very basic but clean, as was the bathroom. We didn't plan to spend a lot of time in the room anyways, so for our purposes it was perfect for a quite affordable price! 😀
The staff was kind and helpful and in the morning they brought coffee according to our wishes to the dining room table or also to one of the tables right outside at the entrance of the hotel. Coffee was great, but breakfast was not very impressive, so we only had a little bite, but always took some fruit from the fruit bowl 🍎🍏🍊
Parking outside the hotel was a bit difficult, but not far there was the possibility to park for free, just needed to circle a bit sometimes and get lucky with a spot getting empty right in front of us ... Altogether, we enjoyed our stay a lot ... The old Castillo de Marbella was right in front of the hotel and there was a little resto named El Rincón de la Muralla that would seat you right beside the Castle wall - very romantic at night! 💕 After dinner there, we only had a few steps to take to get into bed and enjoy a good night's sleep ...
As for the pictures, only the first one is showing the hotel, the rest are pictures taken in the old town Marbella, super close to the hotel - and just to prove how great this location is! 😎

GGuest UserGreat resort. Wonderful hotel, beautiful rooms, very clean. Professional, friendly staff, good service. Excellent bars and restaurants. Great garden, too pool and beach area.
WWEIThe hotel is luxurious and comfortable, the room is large and beautiful, and the bedding is very comfortable. The room has a balcony and you can see the golf course opposite. The breakfast is rich in variety. The overall feeling is very similar to those five-star hotels in Sanya.
GGuest UserThis is both on the main road near the old town are and short walk in from beach. So lots of transportation options and nice walk along the beach. It is a large lobby with shop, patio, bar and restaurant. My room was very large and the bathroom was huge. Great mattress. The TV program choices were great for Spanish speakers but almost nothing in English or French. No CNN, no BCC not Euro news. Good value and I would stay again.
BBoris SellmeijerGood hotel. Everything is in decent condition this includes the mattress.
Only thing that needs some improvement is the old locks. They work but are a bit difficult from time to time.
Downstairs is a little cafe with cheap but good food.
