Ibis Budget Hotels in Melbourne

Good room for two days. Minor problems but I reported it and they say they will take care of it. No problems with the room. Parking available for the car. Good location to start in the morning to go to Phillip island

Surprisingly it was good, I’m not expecting anything coz it’s a budget hotel, but still it was beyond my expectations. I was putting requests with double bed and ended up getting a twin bed which is fine coz I’m alone by myself and actually I don’t mind either double bed or twin bed. The receptionist told me they don’t have double bed room and change it to twin bed. I said to them I’m totally fine with that and they gave me late check out as a compliment and I’m super happy coz I really need the late check out😬

Basic and a short walk to the airport Bed comfortable towels kettle etc We booked in for breakfast but I was a bit disappointed that coffee was in a paper cup Cereal could be in a proper bowl but had to eat with a wooden spoon awful! I really don’t see the point ! As you have to wash the bowl up so why not a spoon knife and fork! Cereal was stale! Water was not cold and tasted dusty but you could have that in a glass and juices - weird Tables not wiped down had to ask when 3 people were just standing around doing nothing !

Many thanks for your assistance. The room clean and sufficient for my needs for a quick overnight stay. Yes, the only drawback is the access to and from the facility, but this can be overcome with a little patience. Staff were friendly and very helpful. Once again, many thanks .
