Novotel Milano Linate Aeroporto Reviews

It's a typical Novotel Hotel class. Efficient and modern style of hotel. Good for travellers who need to catch up to the flight from Linate Airport. Came with family (2 adults, 2 kids, 1 infant) Took a taxi ride from Milan Centrale Stazione that cost us only €20 and 12 minutes journey. Pro - very close to Linate Airport. Only 2 mins by driving to the airport. But not advisable to walk to the airport from the hotel as you need to cross highway. - modern and elegant stylish hotel. - we got ground floor room, which was good for families. - very fast and easy check in as booking with Trip.com ensure you smooth process. - facilities was abundant - outdoor swimming pool, gym, park for leisure. - tremendous breakfast. Good selection of food and variety - room was acceptable but a little bit tight if you brought large suitcases Cons - they charged €5 for shuttle van to the airport. Unusual for an hotel located nearby an airport to charge customers on the shuttle service. We did not use the service to the airport as the timing schedule does not fit to our plan movement to the airport. - outdoor swimming pool water was too cold to swim during end of spring. - you need to wear swimming cap to swim. Or you need to buy the swimming cap at the restaurant. But it was a lousy quality of swimming cap costing us for €5 each. -

the room is tidy, but the toilet is a bit old. Staff are very helpful and friendly with good suggestion of restaurant.

No A/C. Kept asking for tissues & soap for 3 days till i got them. Cheap place.

I found this to be one of the worst hotel experiences I have ever had. It started with the reluctance of the person checking me in ot accept a 50 euro bill (all that I had) for the hotel tax (which I thought was included in the taxes I paid to Trip.com). I then asked about a place to eat or buy some food since I had been on mass transit for 2 hours getting to the hotel. I was told there was nothing nearby and the restaurant would not open for 2 hours. I relied on google and found a Mercato a short 8-minute walk from the hotel. Upon returning I found the lift was not operating so I had to climb to the 7th floor (not pleasant given the hassle I had getting to the hotel in the first place). Once in the room, I tried to call the front desk but the phones weren't working. I called on my cell phone to find out that the internet and phones were not operating (no internet for the entire stay). I then decided to take a swim, but the pool closed at 7 pm (it's daylight until almost 11 pm). All in all, an unpleasant hotel experience. I would never stay at another Novotel.

The room is large, the father and daughter at the front desk are warm and humorous, very nice, and the breakfast is quite rich, but the hygiene needs to be improved.

Because the location was good, many flight attendants seemed to be staying there, but the condition of the rooms did not live up to the name power of the Novotel chain. There was a urine smell from the bathroom bidet faucet and the cleaning condition was not good. They didn't even stop the guests (student groups) who were shouting for a long time in front of the guest room elevator... It was a disappointing accommodation experience in many ways.

Hotel near Linate airport. Unbelievable that the parking is only paid. Good room but the air conditioner was broken!
