Amazing 5 star ryokan with top notch service. Lots of privacy! Smart TV in the room with Netflix was a surprise bonus! We love the tatami mat room with the beautiful and calming view of the river. Onsen is lovely, especially the outdoor onsen. Dinner's ( we had 3 dinners) quality & variety are commendable .

Excellent location. Make sure to follow that narrow road next to the entrance of the temple. It is next to the tourist boat pier, and depending on your room you might be facing the Amanohashidate. Great staff and hospitality as always. Nice room which were recently renovated. Overall a great experience even for foreigners.

The garden and ryokan are beautiful. The hosts were so attentive and gracious. Lovely onsen and cosmetics. Charming reading room. The food was wonderful - regional food specialties - bream, mackerel, Spanish mackerel, flounder, prawns, tiny shrimp (grilled, smoked and fresh) and pine juice. A beautiful garden. Truly enjoyed this experience.

We booked over 130,000 yen for two people, so our expectations were pretty high even before we stayed there. The staff were veterans, so we felt at ease. The room was clean and spacious, and the view was great. The view depends on the weather and luck. If it's cloudy, foggy, or raining, it's not as much fun. The room was warm with air conditioning and floor heating, but the hallway was very cold when we went outside to eat or go to the large bath. The floor of some of the corridors was made of a combination of several bamboo steps, making it difficult to walk. We were very satisfied with the food. The bath in the room was tap water, but we enjoyed it. The shower had a mode where it rained from above, and we got covered in water and screamed. Please be careful. We were looking forward to the large bath, which was a hot spring. Because we love hot springs. The indoor bath was small but easy to use. There was a big problem. When we went to the open-air bath, we didn't know if it was because the toilet was close or if it was a problem with the plumbing, but the smell of the toilet and the smell of sewage were so strong that we came out immediately. I like relaxing outside in the indoor and outdoor baths, but I felt so sick I couldn't stay there. I felt like I was soaking in a toilet. It was a shame because it costs over 130,000 yen. There were many good points. It's not a good value for money.

This is my fifth time staying here. I often come here during crab season, and the crab dishes are more delicious than anywhere else, so this is the best. The service is also pleasant, and I am always very satisfied. This was my first stay since the hotel was renovated last year, and it was very spacious, easy to use, and comfortable, but I'm sorry to ask for something extravagant, but the room was heated with floor heating and air conditioning, and it was a little too warm at first. When I arrived, the heating was a little modest, and it would have been nice if there had been an explanation of how to adjust the heating equipment so that it could be adjusted to individual preferences.

When we arrived at the Truffle Pavilion on a snowy day, all the reservations had been cancelled, and we were the only two guests in the entire hotel, which was an unexpected surprise. The renovated room has modern electrical equipment and floor heating facilities. Even the air is filled with the elegant aroma of wood. It is elegant and comfortable. The room is spotless. All the floor-to-ceiling windows are wiped bright and clean. I feel that the hotel is very attentive. Each meal is carefully prepared, and the tableware is also very exquisite. It is truly a feast for the eyes and taste. Although the service staff is a little older, they are not only very professional, but also very enthusiastic to help us check the operating status of the railways that were suspended due to heavy snow and arrange driving routes. We spent an unforgettable day there and hope to have another chance next time. Visit again.
