"There is no gate or fence, it should be a motel. It is within walking distance of Fisherman's Wharf and the aquarium, where you can see the sea and seals. The room has air conditioning and a fireplace that seems to be able to warm up, but it didn't work because I didn't know how to open the window and was afraid that the air would not circulate. The bed in the room was too soft, and the breakfast was okay."
"Great location! I had a conference at the Monterey Conference which is less than a 3 min walk! Only thing was that there was no AC, I’m so used to assuming that hotels always have AC, but it was my bad for not checking ahead of time. I asked for a roll out bed, and they were able to provide that, depending on availability at no extra cost. Had a good stay! Quite historical hotel."
"It's Christmas, and the hotel has a great atmosphere, with two oversized Christmas trees! There is also a Christmas tree and a small snowman as soon as you enter. The room is relatively ordinary, with a small balcony. There is a small pedestrian street next to the hotel. There are some small shops and food you can try. They taste good!
Hygiene: quite clean
Service: Not bad, I changed rooms three times. The first time was because there were children next door, the second time was because my balcony was no longer available, and the third time, they probably got annoyed and upgraded me directly hahahaha, no impatience.
Environment: Everything around is very convenient, including Starbucks downstairs.
(Remember to buy water from the nearby supermarket, water in the room is charged)"

"The location is very good. You can walk on the beach just outside. The room is large and the bathroom is spacious. It is convenient to have breakfast delivered to the room. However, there is a bit of a weird smell in the room."
"The feeling is that the Indians opened the hotel, and the hallway and the room have a scent of Indian oil. We arrived at 2 o'clock in the afternoon and immediately sent us a check in. Parking is free after registering the license plate. Although it is a suite but only a large bed, the hotel is still a bit far from the city. Not good for an extra bed but can sleep alone in the sofa. The breakfast was very simple and there was no meat. Clean and odorless. There is indeed a fireplace available."
"Good location, walk 10 minutes to the old fisherman's wharf, there is a Chinese supermarket on the right.
The room structure is reasonable and easy to use, and the bedding and sofa are comfortable.
Cold meals are available at 16:00 in the lobby, ham cheese fruit wine is very good.
No hot food for breakfast and no meat, sorry.
Overall good and worth recommending.
Monterey town is beautiful, there is no parking near the aquarium, 17miles is beautiful, and the coastline of camel town is stunning."

"The hotel is very nicely decorated with antiques by the owners. The rooms are very confortable.
Breakfast is served between 8.30 and 9.30. We enjoyed our stay at The Jabberwock and would highly recommend it."
"The room is large, there is a coffee machine, a microwave oven, the room on the first floor, and there is an elevator on the second floor. It is a good hotel. The only fly in the ointment is that when I made coffee, I found that the coffee bag used by the previous tenant was still in the coffee machine."

GGuest UserI’ve been to Monterey many times over the years and always considered spending a little extra to stay here. My stay was alright. The room was clean, loved the big tub and stand alone shower. Duvet was very comfortable but only thin down pillows with no support.
I was disappointed with my “ocean view” which ended up being brick wall of the building next door, with a questionable metal “balcony.” If you were brave enough to peer over you could see the ocean.
Parking is $50+ a night whether you valet or self park. We weren’t told which of the nearby parking garages were affiliated and ended up in the wrong garage the first night and had to pay double. If I stay again I’d just skip on their garage and use the one on Foam St for $20 overnight parking.
We did not visit the restaurant so cannot speak on that.
Area is fun, love the proximity to the aquarium. Lots of little touristy shops and cafes right outside on the *****.
For the price plus the additional parking fee I do not know that I’d stay here again. Driving to all the local hot spots is pretty easy so staying a little bit away from the area and spending less seems to be a better idea for me personally.
GGuest UserThe Hilton Garden Inn Monterey offers a convenient, comfortable stay in the heart of this scenic California town. Guests enjoy an indoor pool, fitness center, and on-site dining, plus easy access to top attractions like the Monterey Bay Aquarium. While lacking some local charm, it provides reliable, well-priced accommodations for both leisure and business travelers.
but one of the reception woman(seems like manager) is not very polite.
ZZiyi007The bedding is very clean, the interior and exterior environment of the hotel is very good, and the flower stands in the corridor in front of each house are planted with different flowers, which is very beautiful. It's also very close to attractions. Great value for money. The hotel has an ice machine but no dedicated source of drinking water.
AAnonymous UserThe location is splendid. Everything is alright except for the fact that we had to carry our luggage up and down the stairs to reach our room. There are in total 2 sets of stairs with small steps and our luggage was quite heavy. There is an elevator but it only carried us to to the floor and not where our hotel room is actually located. You definitely need to request for wheelchair accessible rooms if you don't want to burden yourself in carrying your heavy luggages or if you are bringing someone who is disabled or the elderly. The free breakfast had a pancake maker which was really nice.
KKarenEverything was good except the fact of someone pounding on my door at 1:00am then they took off! It was ridiculously unacceptable as they think it’s funny! Other then that, the view of the beach from our room was spectacular. Well worth the cost. Checking in/out was quick and easy.
JJIAHAOI have lived in one of the best motels and the room is very plentiful. The light in the room and the toilet are very bright, the shampoo conditioner has everything, and the charging port is enough. Praise
JJINA typical American motel with a good location, just across the road is Macy's and some restaurants. There is also a drug store CVS, but unfortunately I did not buy a mask. There is a swimming pool and gym in the hotel, but the pool is small and slightly larger than the bathtub. The gym is also very small
陈陈Good location, clean small hotel with ironing board and electric kettle. Motels with good facilities in the United States. The 17miles entrance one or two kilometers away is a lot cheaper than living in Carmel
