"At first I didn't like the look of this hotel. There was graffiti outside and my room was cold. I spent most the night looking at more expensive hotels. The next day I was glad I didn't change to another hotel. The heater in the room eventually did its job. The location turned out not to be so bad. The breakfast was good. The desk staff were very helpful. It worked out well, but next time I would book a hotel near Pocitos."

"Radisson Montevideo Victoria Plaza Hotel is located at Plaza Independencia. It is within walking distance to Ciudad Vieja, museo Andes, Metropolitan Cathedral, and Solís Theatre. The hotel is situated about 45 minutes drive to Carrasco International Airport. We stayed at Radisson Montevideo Victoria Plaza for 3 nights, and I must say that the services provided exceeded our expectations. From the customer service representatives at the reception, housekeeping, all the staff at breakfast and Arcadia restaurants did their best to make our stay very comfortable and felt welcomed. The breakfast restaurant is located on the 25th floor overlooking the harbour and breakfast menu exceeded our expectations. There are a variety of croissants and pastries, scrambled eggs, bacon, fruits, yoghurt, and coffee. The heated swimming pool and spas on the 6th floor are clean and it opens from 5.30am to 9.30pm. There is a ****** inside the hotel and plenty of punters smoking outside the ******. We were upgraded to a king suite room on the 11th floor. Unfortunately, the furniture in the room was obsolete, and the linen provided looked like 20 years old. The carpet in the room looked old and dirty."
