Anonymous UserPros:
1. The hotel's natural environment is excellent, offering sightings of incredibly rare protected animals. They also provide a free wildlife tour, which I highly recommend. It's a fantastic experience to simply walk around the hotel and spot monkeys foraging.
2. The service is outstanding. The hotel staff are attentive and very considerate of guests. The welcome drink was delicious. The hotel facilities are well-maintained, and I received a room upgrade with a great view and a spacious layout.
3. The slippers were very comfortable. The breakfast tableware was exquisite.
Cons for me:
1. The claim of being the 'most beautiful Intercontinental' is an exaggeration. Some areas even felt [as pictured], though I suppose one could call it 'unique.' Personally, I found it gaudy.
2. I strongly recommend including executive lounge access. If you arrive early, since there's no air conditioning in the public areas, the only cool indoor space to relax is the executive lounge. Otherwise, you're stuck waiting in the hotel lobby, and elderly guests and children need to be careful to avoid heatstroke.
3. The breakfast was delicious, and the fruit quality was high. However, it's baffling why the other restaurants were so bad. After reading reviews that even the Michelin-starred Japanese restaurant wasn't great, I booked a package that included dinner. I paid extra to change the dishes, but they were still terrible. It was arguably the worst meal I had in Vietnam.
4. Although the hotel was uncrowded and had a good environment, the beach quality was very average, and the loungers by the sea started closing down every day at 6 PM.
In summary, I think this Intercontinental is worth staying at, but don't go in with exceptionally high expectations.

Guest UserThe hotel is conveniently located in the city center, offering easy access to major tourist attractions. While it's walkable if the weather in Da Nang wasn't so hot, we ended up using Grab for all our sightseeing due to the intense heat. The hotel facilities are clean, and the breakfast, which changes slightly every day, is great. They also offer a good variety of fruits! All the staff are very friendly, and Dinh Thai, in particular, was exceptionally kind and had an adorable smile. I'd highly recommend this hotel if you're looking for central access to tourist spots. The infinity pool is a must-try! ^^

GiangpThe highlight of my stay was definitely the spectacular view from the master bedroom of the 2-bedroom apartment. I had a direct view of the Macau vs. Germany fireworks display on June 21, which was absolutely marvelous. The apartment was spacious, very clean, and well equipped, with a washing machine and a functional kitchen. The bed was comfortable and met the standards I’d expect from an international 5-star hotel.
The property is showing its age, however. While everything is generally well maintained, the furnishings feel dated and somewhat inexpensive. The hallways in the apartment tower are also rather dark and can be difficult to navigate.
Service was adequate but unremarkable, nothing particularly stood out, either positively or negatively.
Overall, a comfortable stay with fantastic views and practical apartment-style facilities, though the interiors could benefit from a refresh.

Anonymous UserHotel kindly upgraded up to connecting room for our convenience. Service is excellent and Emma is very helpful with all the questions that we have.
The location is a little far from the old town (can borrow their bicycle) but this also means that it is a quiet area so we sleep very well without the traffic noise (it also has double wall sound insulation 👍🏻). Buffet breakfast is adequate with western and Vietnamese food. Plenty of salad and fruit options. In room has coffee capsule machine in addition to 3 in 1 Vietnamese coffee and green tea.
For guests with limited mobility, avoid level 7 rooms as the lift only served till level 6. There were also quite a couple of steps to take from the entrance to the front desk. No universal or usb wall socket so bring your own adapter.

Anonymous UserLoved the hotel's breakfast and service, and the room was very clean. The location is super convenient, just across the street from the beach. There are plenty of restaurants and convenience stores to the left, right, and behind the hotel, offering a great selection. I'll definitely consider staying here again next time. Also, highly recommend the Bánh Mì from Bánh Mì 365, it's delicious!

Overall, the stay was excellent. The hotel is located within Ba Na Hills, which allows you to avoid the crowds during the day and enjoy a peaceful stroll through the French Village in the evenings and mornings. The room was clean and comfortable, and the bed was very cozy. The staff were friendly and efficient during check-in. The breakfast offered a wide variety of choices and tasted good. Staying at the hotel also grants you convenient access to the cable car and early entry to the park, which is a great perk for those who want to explore Ba Na Hills at a leisurely pace. The only minor downside is the limited dining options and higher prices in the evening compared to the city, but it was still a fantastic experience overall. I highly recommend staying for at least one night.

JTYL86We booked the Premier Deluxe Double Room. The Balcony that is showing up on the website is truly deceiving. On arrival, it was not a balcony, it was more of a standing ledge for u to see the sea and sun.
The rest of the amenities was good.

This place is perfect for those who love relaxation. It's the best spot for families with kids. The grounds are beautiful and well-maintained. The reception service is excellent; the staff really try their best. The only downside is the language barrier – you'll definitely need a translator. The food gets an 8 out of 10. Everything in the restaurant is lovely, and they have a great selection. Both the kids' and adult pools are excellent. There are 3 restaurants and a nightclub on site. We got an early check-in and a free transfer, plus a fantastic 60-minute massage and a tea ceremony. The Marble Mountains are just a 3-minute walk away (with cafes, souvenir shops, and a mini-market nearby). It's a 20-minute motorbike ride to Hoi An (we went and it was great!). And about 15-20 minutes by Grab bike to Da Nang city center (My Khe Beach). Every day, there's a free, comfortable, air-conditioned car departing from the hotel at 9:00 AM, with a return pick-up at 3:00 PM (you *must* book this in advance). If you're looking for peace, quiet, delicious food, and relaxation, this is the place for you.

EvoFunkWe stayed at the Sunny Ocean Hotel in Da Nang for four nights. We initially booked a different hotel but were shocked at how dirty it was. We walked into this hotel, and immediately, the girl at reception was very helpful in making a booking for us. In a flash, she found two rooms. The rooms were clean and spacious. The bellboy was very kind and attended to moving our bags, fixing the air conditioning, and helping us reset the safe. Breakfast was nice. We enjoyed the swimming pool on the roof and loved the beautiful sunsets in the evenings. All the hotel staff members were friendly and welcoming. Overall, we enjoyed staying at this hotel—especially after our experience with the previous one.
