Mountain View Hotels in Da Nang

I would like to share some feedback regarding our recent stay at your hotel. Overall, we found the location to be a great spot to relax, especially with the excellent facilities offered by Sun World Ba Na Hills. We came to celebrate both our anniversary and Christmas, and were excited about the experience. On the first day of our stay, we encountered an issue with the hot water. We called for assistance and waited nearly an hour for someone from the hotel to come and resolve the problem. It is now almost 10 PM, and the outside temperature is below 19°C, making the situation quite uncomfortable. On the second night of our stay, we were unexpectedly woken up at 7 AM by a housekeeping staff member. She informed us that we had requested a repair for the hairdryer, which was not the case. We tried to explain the situation, but she ignored us and entered the room without our consent. After checking the hairdryer, she left her master key behind. Later, she entered the room a second time, but fortunately, my husband had already finished his shower and was dressed. I find it difficult to believe this happened at a Mercure hote

After 30 mins drive from airport, you will be greeted with beautifully decorated receptionist and stunning view of the private bay. A buggy ride or combination of outdoor walk + funicular will lead to most room. If lucky, you may encounter the colourful endangered monkey during funicular ride. The ”panoramic” room is on higher floor and present a better view of the bay. View of the private bay from room's balcony attached. Variety is relatively limited however, quality of breakfast is outstanding. Dine at Citroen for vietnamese food or Barefoot for a more international flavour of meat, seafood and pizza. Food quality was outstanding and specialty coctails were interesting. Long bar was a posh spot for afternoon chill next to swimming pool and beach. Food and drink prices are on high side compared to Vietnamese standard or even similar resort in SEA. However, visiting the private beach (or bay) is really a treat! Complimentary cold water, sweet potato, and even unsual sunglasses cleaning service or cucumber to cool the face. Complimentary well maintained paddle board, kayak, Vietnamese bamboo basket boat. Plus all usual beach facilities such as beach volley, badminton, frisbee but without crowd. Attended and very well maintained indoor gym with Technogym and a smaller one outdoor. There is 4K outdoor running route circulating the resort with 100 m elevation. Bed room and bathroom are luxurious and well maintained. The high outdoor humidity (October) and air conditioned room cause foggy glasses and blocking the nice view from bed room. After adjusting skin to outdoor temperature, relaxing on relatively large balcony with large sofa was a better way to enjoy the scenery. While my other half experienced the award winning Mi Sol Spa, myself and kid went for private tour to Ba Na Hill from concierge which was on high side compared to online travel portal. However, it worthed for business class car, professional driver and very experienced tour guide whom made everything smooth and trouble free. Complimentary mini bus to Hoi An was pleasant and well timed. Tried local transport Grab for diner outside and it was a mixed experience of efficient cost and feeling of less safety. Services on all visited facilities were outstanding and caused my wife considering a return during cooler month.

Upon arrival you are surprised that unlike most hotels is da nang this property is not vertically high rise but rather horizontally wide giving everyone view to beautiful landscape, 5 pools as well as the most in demand beautiful beach. Check in process - 5 star - it was efficiently done with zero delays or hassles, the room key was handed over along with explanation document of the facilities. The bags were sent to the room before my arrival to the room. Having an expat manager at the reception was definitely a big plus. Rooms - 5 star - it’s a classic property newly renovated while maintaining its classic atmosphere. The rooms are very large with large bathrooms that offer bathtub as well as walk-in shower which is very convenient and offers you a choice. The bed was very comfortable and the room was absolutely silent. They offered every amenity possible including bath salt which was refilled daily and turndown service was great as they always left some sweet savory to enjoy before bed time :) Dining experience - 5 star - they have two restaurants. One is French Vietnamese and the second one is on the beach. The Beach restaurant offered very nice grilled platter, which was perfect to Enjoy the evening by the Seaside as well as the draft beer to go along during lunch they offered burgers and pizzas. The French-Vietnamese restaurant offered meals that were presented with right balance of flavors and local twist that were almost like a Michelin star restaurant. Thanks to their executive chef who made sure that all guests were given attention and collected their feedback for improvements. This is unlike most hotels in Vietnam. Safety - 5 star - this is a special appreciation for the lifeguards, which are constantly around all five pools as well as on the beach lifeguards made sure of guest safety and not just stand there, but also to guide people where not to swim or where it could be dangerous to swim. The Spa - 5 star - having a Malaysian receptionist was definitely an advantage, due to language barriers, and the massage they offered was heavenly. A 60 minute massage every day would leave you wanting for more next day.

Pros: The location has nice views but you will need to take a grab to the beach area (10 mins away). The room has a balcony with seating. Toiletries, safe, tea, coffee provided. Bottled water provided. Free use of the business centre. No construction nearby Cons: There is only one plug socket on one side of the bed. The design of the light switches are just awful, I really don't understand who designs the layout of switches. Totally unnecessary, confusing and impractical. Mini bar not restocked after drinking juice. You can hear people in the next room so if you are sensitive to noise, ask to be put in a room away from families / large groups.

Comfortable to stay here, the location near the sea and the night market is very convenient to go shopping, a bit tiring but not very far, the hotel room is small but spending a little more money in a room with a balcony is better, breakfast is okay with fried food, FO Chuong enthusiastically help

The villa that our family shared was well appointed, with cooking facilities, living area, and dining area. The bedrooms had super king beds in two of the bedrooms and and two singles in the other room. All bedrooms had an ensuite. The fourth bedroom was not opened for our use. Each villa had a private small pool. The staff was very friendly and transport was provided by the resort. The resort has a 50m pool that was warm at this time of the year. Any issue was dealt with promptly. Buffet breakfast was plentiful and catered for all tastes. I would not hesitate to come back again. The resort is set at the beach, so one can use the pool and have the beach right next to it.

Great first stay in Danang! Truly enjoyed the location, right on the beach and easy to eat out or order in. Wish there were chairs closer to the water so we could enjoy the shade while watching the little one playing in the water. At the moment it's either all sand with shade or all water with absolutely no shade. Service was great as well. Everyone was helpful from start to finish. Only issue was room cleanliness. It was passable but there were still dirty corners, trash under the bed, and shower stains. Cleanliness was also an issue on parts of the beach where trash and cigarettes littered the seating area. Definitely stay here if you want beach access!

We stayed here for 5 nights in June 2023 . Nice , clean resort a bit out of town . Rooms are large and modern , pools and restaurants are nice just a bit of a walk from the building accommodation. Breakfast was good . Viet in the pool bar was amazing, Friendly and gave us great local information and local suggestions. The only down side to this accommodation is it’s a bit far from Da Nang and Hoi am with limited options unless you take a taxi or grab . Negatives for the hotel is laundry pricing $$$ and car using by resort $$$

We had a horrible night at Menora Premium Hotel. There was water all over the bathroom whenever someone was taking a shower because the evacuation was blocked, reception said there was nothing they could do about it. Our bed sheets were full of dirt and blood stains, they got changed only for one of the two beds and the new sheets were still dirty. We couldn’t even sleep in the bed sheets but had to stay at this hotel because they had made us pay during check in, before even seeing the room, which is unusual. If we had known we would have run away to find another hotel. Our feet were black just walking on the floor, the white walls were full of dirt as well. Service was terrible as the receptionist lied to us continuously: he told us we couldn’t do a late check out on the following day because the hotel was full, while his manager told us the opposite, when we asked to speak with his manager during check out, he said she wasn’t there on Saturdays before realizing it was actually Friday, so that he came up with another lie saying that she was on a business trip, but when we insisted she came out 10 minutes later from one of the hotel’s staff rooms. No kind gesture was proposed to compensate for all of the points listed above, this hotel clearly doesn’t care about their customers being satisfied, they just want to make sure they get their money before customers are able to see how bad the rooms and the service are.

Location is near to the beach and the city. It is very convenient to gets food and to chill out for drinks nearby. The view from their rooftop swimming pool is panaromic and provides a stunning view of the city, the beach and the mountains. The hotel staffs are friendly, service - oriented and helpful. Breakfast is included in their rates which is a good value for money. The view from my room that is at the high floor is great view. I enjoy my stay here at this hotel and highly recommended this hotel.
