"Amazing staff and lovely old place with nice onsen on site. Good breakfast in the morning and right near free shuttle to kanko/onsen ski fields. Nice buffet breakfast every day and they do a great dinner too"
"It's in a great location for skiing, the rooms are spacious, and the food is plentiful and delicious.
However, it is a bit disappointing that meal time is limited."

"Very pleasantly surprised, each room has a separate floor heating, warm but not dry, the room is very new, there is a special ski drying room and waxing place, very professional, the hotel is a few minutes drive from the spot tail snow field, the hotel has a free car transfer. The key boss and the proprietress are super good. The boss is Japanese but the Chinese is very good. The skiing is very good. It can take classes and do guide skiing. The proprietress is a Chinese girl. She is super hospitable and cooks good dishes. It is rare to eat Chinese taste in Japan. I am so touched, and I check out on the return trip. In the event of heavy snow delay, did not catch the plane, the proprietress remotely helped solve the problem, in short, five-star recommendation!"
"Service attitude is very good
But it was too old and noisy. The ventilation system kept making noises of parts falling off for more than 10 hours. So I chose a room with a bathroom and toilet. I wanted convenience, but I didn't expect that it would be inconvenient to take a bath. The bathtub was too small and there was bleach in the water. The smell, and the water in the bathtub is still completely wet even if there is a shower curtain blocking the floor. It is very uncomfortable. The wind power of the hair dryer is close to zero. It is recommended to bring your own hair dryer, otherwise it will really collapse. The hotel may be too old. I really don’t recommend it if you want to enjoy skiing. This hotel has been in a state of collapse. I stayed there for four nights and it was really uncomfortable. Then when the room was cleaned, the floor was not vacuumed. The room was really dirty and the slippers were rusty in it... In short, I will not come again! ! !
Really ruined a good ski trip"
"Dinner buffet I am full of expectations, don't have too much expectations, the location is not good, you can travel by car, there is no store nearby, and it is difficult to recognize the road in heavy snow. The best thing is that the network is very poor, 4G has 1 grid, the Internet is difficult, WIFI is as weak, and the line is often disconnected. You can feel the air of nature wholeheartedly, the hot springs are good for hygiene, and the bath products used are also very good. There is a ski supplies store next to it, if you don't have equipment, you can rent it, and the ski resort is next to it, which is also very convenient. "
"This chain hotel has hot spring baths. Located at the high-speed intersection. There are many restaurants around. There is also a seafood market. The canteen next to the hotel has a large portion and a large bowl of noodles is enough for two people. The room size is a bit small, but there are everything that should be available, and the price is fairly affordable. The breakfast was good. Parking is free."
YyeoGreat stay at a Japanese bed and breakfast style accomodation. Owners are an elderly Japanese couple who speaks average English but we get by. Free transport to and fro ski slopes even though they are a 1.2 km walk away from Akakura Onsen main street. Owner was also kind enough to drive us to the train station for our rest day from snowboard. Breakfast was great! Room had attached toilets and were super clean. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED. Will stay here again next time I come to Myoko Kogen
EEdmund PWProperty is set in a very quiet and peaceful environment. Very clean and modern. Well maintained after its renovation. There are plenty of free parking space.
Room is big but unfortunately without shower/bath - a big negative for the property. There are two common showers for the whole hotel which must be busy during peak seasons. I recommend the hotel especially during off peak season when you can use the public showers. Otherwise you have to use the bathing facilities in the onsen.
TTiantiandashengSmall hotel in the ski resort 🏡 Very friendly owner and couple 👫 Prepared loft room for 3 of us (4 people can sleep up and down), carefully prepared breakfast and dinner 👍 The next day the boss drove us to nearby attractions to play 😎 Thank you.
JJasmineHad a great stay here! Very friendly owners. The private baths were an amazing way to relax after hiking all day. The house was so cute and the room was nice and comfy. I would definitely recommend this to anyone.
GGuest UserAkakura Onsen is a great little Japanese town in the snow. Akakura Park Hotel provided a large twin room, with AC and a small fridge, small lounge and lots of space (unusual for Japan). Breakfast was a western buffet with japanese options also. Drying room and a nice hot en also. Only issue is that the ski lift is a 400m walk up a slope and then back again at the end of the day. Lots of small japanese restaurants available in the main street but you have to book the day before for some. Lots of snow and one blue sky day for our week of skiing.
AAnonymous UserHotel has good heating so perfect for winter stay. Nice fireplace area and nice holding area before stepping out into the cold. The hotel is down a hill from the main thoroughfare. A bit slippery downhill when it becomes icy. Run like a hotel so maybe a bit cold compared to a bed and breakfast. Onsen bath seems a bit dirty with things floating in there compared to other hotels we stayed at. We needed to move to another hotel which is 2km away and the guy offered to drive us there for 2000 yen! Just 1 luggage each and no skis. So on the whole just cold. Breakfast was 1000 yen seemed simple so we skipped and opted to eat in town instead. Probably won't stay there again.
GGuest UserI had a fantastic stay at Alto Piano. The owner and his mum provided exceptional service and cooked a 4 course western meal for me every night. The food was delicious. Owner also dropped me
DDaotianyouziThe room was very well cleaned.
I was able to sleep soundly without being bothered by any noise from the surrounding rooms.
It was the end of the year and it was very cold outside in snowy country, but it was warm inside the hotel.
We were able to use the large public bath until 2am, which was very appreciated.
The breakfast had a wide variety of dishes and we enjoyed it at our leisure. It was delicious.
BBufanTTThe hotel is right at the entrance of the ski resort and you can Ski in/Out. Guests of the hotel in Figure 3 can get a discount on the ski pass price. Our price for three days was 25,400 yen. There are very few people in the ski resort unless there is heavy snowfall. Very few people. There are several restaurants in the hotel, and you need to make a reservation for dinner in the evening. The taste is good. There are ski lockers on the first floor for free. Friendly advice, try to bring your own shoes and boards. The shoes rented by the ski resort are very loose and the boards are heavy and hard.
