This is the third or fourth time. What I like most is ``The three free private hot springs and meals.'' The gentle sound quality and quiet scenery are soothing. The temperature was good and I went in again and again. I'm glad that the meals are served in my room, and since I'm a fast eater, the pace of the meals was just right for me, and the detailed explanations made me feel at ease. The rooms and the inside of the building are always clean and tidy, and there are few customers, so you can enjoy a quiet relaxing experience. The reason I always go to Gunma is because I want to go to Hinatamikan. They noticed that I was a repeat customer and gave me a drink as a gift. (Thank you for that comment.) This was my first time visiting Shima Onsen. I wasn't sure where to stay, so I decided based on their website and social media. I was very satisfied with everything from the a**osphere, facilities, food, and the attentiveness and sense of the staff, and it's a place I would definitely like to stay at again. Apparently it was renovated 10 years ago, but the fact that it has been kept so beautiful is entirely due to the efforts and hospitality of the staff, as well as the careful care taken by the fans of this inn. There aren't many places as wonderful as this, so I hope it will be maintained forever, and it's an inn that makes you want to support it.

This was my first time using this service, but I have become a fan due to their wonderful service. I stayed in a room along the river, and it was spacious, clean, and a great place to truly relax. I was able to use the bath by myself and it was relaxing, and even after just soaking in the bath for about 10 minutes, my body felt warm and warm from the quality of the spring water long after I got out. The food used local ingredients, looked and tasted great, and was served to perfection. I chose this inn because I was exhausted from work and wanted to go to a hot spring, but it turned out to be a really relaxing trip. I was very satisfied with the customer service, hot springs, and food. All of the hot springs are reserved for private use, and there are 3 types of hot springs, and we were supposed to bathe in them when we had free time, but we were able to bathe in all 3 types. Your skin will be smooth after entering. The food is beautiful and delicious, and if there's something you can't eat, please let us know in advance and we'll change it to something else. The amount of food was perfect and I was able to eat to my full stomach. I definitely want to go again. It has become an inn that I would like to introduce to my family and friends.

There are many famous places, but I decided to stay here because I thought the a**osphere would be to my liking. The proprietress is the interior coordinator, so the interior is stylish. All the furnishings are clean. The ingredients of the hot spring are Shima Onsen. The power of hot springs that have been boiling for a long time is unbelievable. It's no wonder that it's the most popular hot spring in Shima Onsen right now, and the reviews on various sites are pretty high.

I used it yesterday, and thank you for your help. The cleanliness, food, reception, etc. 💮. The three hot spring baths were relaxing and the best. The only one was not only a yukata, but a samue (jinbei) style yukata. (I'm not used to wearing a yukata, so the front part looks sloppy.) We booked this inn as a way to celebrate our wedding anniversary and show our appreciation to our parents. Although I'm not a big fan of river fish, the cherry salmon sashimi and char ochazuke we had here were delicious. We chose a room with a bath, so we were able to enjoy the waters of Shima Onsen to the fullest, which was great. My husband loves the hot waters of Shima Onsen. This is an inn we'd definitely like to stay at again. We ate in the dining room, but we were so close to the other guests that we felt uncomfortable, so we took one star off.

This is a small inn located in Okushima. At first glance, the inn looks like a beautifully rebuilt guesthouse, but we were very satisfied with the food, rooms, and service. ① The dishes are not elaborate, but are very delicious, using local ingredients such as sweetfish and char. What particularly impresses me is the quality of the salted plums. The pickles, which are ordinary, are excellent. Even if you're full, you can still eat rice with pickles. The dining room is only separated from the neighbor by a thin bamboo fence, so it lacks a sense of privacy, but the staff's call button is located on the desk, which shows that they are attentive. ②The building and rooms are kept very neat and clean. Personally, I don't like that the washing area in the bathroom is made of concrete and there are no drainboards. ③There is no large public bath, but three private baths are available. You can see which seats are vacant by looking at the electronic bulletin board on the first floor. You can enjoy a sense of privacy that you can't find in a large public bath. However, there is no air conditioner, only a small fan, and you have to bring your own towels from your room, which makes it difficult to use. ④The staff's service is also good. However, the lack of a final farewell may need improvement. ⑤ There is nothing in the refrigerator in the room, but there is a large refrigerator in the lobby, where you can take your favorite drinks, fill out a slip, and pay when checking out. I think it's an efficient system.

The rooms were clean, the food was delicious, and the staff were very hospitable. Also, in a room by the river, listening to the sound of the river flowing, drinking a beer after a bath was great. I brought wine with me for dinner, and when I checked in, I asked them to keep it chilled, and they brought it to me in a wine bucket at dinner time, so I was able to enjoy wine and dinner in the best condition. However, I personally think the hot spring water is too hot. There are three baths, so I think I would have enjoyed it even more if they had set the water temperature to lukewarm, normal, or hot. I heard that the source water of Shima Onsen is originally about 60 degrees.

I've been there many times. I always reserve the same room. Hinatamikan is an important space for us, as we are busy on a daily basis. This time, too, all our fatigue was instantly relieved. The staff's way of speaking and careful explanations. Delicious food. (Especially the breakfast was excellent.) I have a high opinion of mountain lodges that do not serve tuna, but this lodge was a delight to stay at as it specializes in sweetfish and trout. (Probably) solid wood floors, and the smell of rush grass from the borderless tatami mats hit me as soon as I opened the door. (It may have just happened to be the time of year when they were replacing the surface.) I couldn't take a bath at the right time, as someone else was taking a bath, so I couldn't use the open-air bath, but personally, the private indoor bath was a very luxurious time, and I was very satisfied both in the evening and in the morning. Of the three bathrooms, I enjoyed the two other than the open-air bath. I didn't use anything other than the room, dining room, and bathroom, but when I looked around the common areas just before checking out, I found the lounge on the second floor with jazz playing to be lovely, and regretted not having enjoyed the common areas more. I would like to stay here again.

Dinner was mainly mountain produce (wild vegetables, river fish) and was made with local ingredients, but the food was delicate and I was able to enjoy it. I felt that it would have been nice to have a little seafood in it. I was able to relax in a spacious room with a view of the waterfall, thank you very much.
