Wyndham Sun Moon Lake

This hotel, touted as the closest international hotel to Sun Moon Lake, is located near Ita Thao Pier. It's a large and impressive establishment, and the rooms even feature hot and cold spring-fed tubs. You'll need a higher floor to get a lake view, though. The staff are very attentive and friendly, always greeting guests, which is a nice touch. I noticed that most of the service staff weren't ********* based on their accents, but they were all very polite.

The room was spacious and had a hot spring tub, which was perfect for relaxing. I also really enjoyed the breakfast here. Every year when I visit Sun Moon Lake, I choose to stay at this resort.

The service staff are very friendly and welcoming. The location is super convenient, right outside the door is the Ita Thao shopping street. The food at the Chinese restaurant is high quality, and the prices are very reasonable. While the buffet doesn't have a huge selection, the items are refined and well above average. The room cleanliness is excellent, and the bed is just the right softness, making for a very comfortable sleep. The room comes with a hot spring tub, and the water pressure is good, so it fills up quickly without a long wait. The food and cocktails at the ground floor bar are also professionally made (the ¥300 discount for guests on cocktails is a nice touch!). This is a hotel I would definitely bring my family and friends back to enjoy again! Highly recommended!
