"The steep hill leading up to My Naoshima Lodge felt quite unwelcoming at first, but to my pleasant surprise, beautiful cats came out to greet us!
Being an avid cat lover, that really was a great perk for me.
Anyway, the hotel, being relatively new, had very clean facilities and I really had nothing to complain about except for the relatively earlier checkout time (10AM! Seriously?😭) compared to other accomodations and inaccessibility to eating spots. Definitely recommend stopping by at the only 7Eleven in Naoshima on your way uphill."
"Near to Miyanoura Port, coming from Uno Port.
It is a mere 4 min walk from the port.
There is no reception to inform you of the room. So we opened the doors to each building. My name was on a piece of paper near the door/ shoe shelf. If there is someone staying in a building, he/she/ they would have locked the door so no worries.
Big clean and nice :)"
"I got a whole house. Didn't expect it to be that big: kitchen, living, bedroom, shower, toilet, washing machine, all that in a quiet surrounding, with all the privacy you want."

"The room is not small, very comfortable, it is an apartment nature, you can cook, the room is not too convenient to be equipped with a microwave oven. The only problem is that this small room is a temporary room, the sound insulation is not particularly good, it is easy to wake up in the morning than birds or cicadas.
In the morning there is free bread, butter, jam. There is a convenient soup, you can drink it.
You can rent an electric bicycle, and it is especially convenient to ride around the island. There is a section of the road that does not allow bicycles to pass during the day. It seems that after 5 o'clock, the museum is closed and no one cares.
Still quite recommended."
"The owner is super friendly and offered me a ride for early ferry going back to Takamatsu port. Interior are practical and clean, I love it. Just pay attention that the soft mattress and very old free bicycles. However you can find taxi, tour bus and rental place near the port. I will come back with friends as the place is good for friends gathering."
"At the seaside yellow pumpkins, there are baths, yurts, and the RVs are quite special. It feels like camping, and the seascape is beautiful. It is rarely eaten nearby. Bathing coin, 10 days hot water 100 yen. I like to go to the sea quietly."
"A very distinctive bicycle-themed hotel with a vibrant colorful exterior. Although it is a little far from Uno Port (at least 20 minutes walk), a taxi costs 1,000 yen. On the first day, I gave the taxi ticket to the front desk and reimbursed it in cash on the spot.
The hotel has a shuttle bus to the JR station, but it is after 10 o'clock every day and there are fewer buses, but you can ask the front desk to book a taxi.
From the balcony, you can see the bicycle track and the sea in the distance, and the view is quite wide. The restaurant faces the track, and I saw athletes training during breakfast, which is very interesting. The Japanese buffet breakfast tastes very flavorful, I like it.
When we checked in, we were told that there was a public bath, which was a bit unexpected. In my previous experience, it felt that only hot spring hotels had it. This time, the city chain hotels I stayed in Shikoku (this is the Chinese region) all have public baths, hot springs, etc. There are sportswear that can be worn in the public bath in each room, which feels like returning to my youth."
"Great location, next to train station and ferry terminals. Very welcoming and helpful reception staff. I stayed in a cabin, and it was fine for an overnight stop. The bed was comfortable. The common area has a microwave, fridge, kettles, a selection of teas that you can make in a pot, bottled water and complementary treats. The hotel offered a free voucher for a nearby onsen, which looked lovely, but I did not visit it. The hotel also stored my luggage after checkout while I visited Naoshima. It's a little pricey for a cabin, but I was very happy with my stay."
"The hotel gave me a surprise. Three minutes walk from the bus, five minutes walk to the subway station, five minutes walk to the beach. Three minutes walk to the port by boat. The sandwich for breakfast was delicious. The kimono is also beautiful"
