"The only thing listed as facilities and amenities was Wi-Fi, but it actually had quite a lot. There was no kitchen, but there was a refrigerator large enough for a single person, an electric kettle, a microwave, and even a washing machine (fee required). However, there were no dishes or crockery. You could boil water and there was stick coffee, but there were no cups, so it would be better to prepare paper cups or something. Also, please bring your own pajamas.
The room was very comfortable. I would like to use it again.
Thank you to the owner for your help."
"The room is not small, very comfortable, it is an apartment nature, you can cook, the room is not too convenient to be equipped with a microwave oven. The only problem is that this small room is a temporary room, the sound insulation is not particularly good, it is easy to wake up in the morning than birds or cicadas.
In the morning there is free bread, butter, jam. There is a convenient soup, you can drink it.
You can rent an electric bicycle, and it is especially convenient to ride around the island. There is a section of the road that does not allow bicycles to pass during the day. It seems that after 5 o'clock, the museum is closed and no one cares.
Still quite recommended."
"Stayed one night in an ocean view twin room (balcony) in October 2023
[Good points]
- The view from the balcony of the room is amazing
- The hotel's interior and exterior design is original, based on the concept of learning from the past
- The food at the adjacent restaurant FORQ is delicious
- Tamano is the only place where you can watch keirin races from the balcony
- Good access to the art island of Naoshima
[Points to note]
- Dinner at the restaurant is shared with the general public, and reservations are required for windows, so we were unable to sit
- The sea breeze is strong when watching from the balcony, and it is cold at night
- There are vending machines, but they do not sell alcohol, so if you want to drink, it is better to bring your own
- It is a bit of a tough distance to walk to the nearest supermarket or convenience store
- Apparently you cannot watch from the balcony during the midnight keirin races
- The large public bath is not available during the keirin races, only showers are available
[Overall review]
This hotel is recommended for people other than keirin fans. It is also recommended as a place to stay for sightseeing on the art island of Naoshima."

"Great location, next to train station and ferry terminals. Very welcoming and helpful reception staff. I stayed in a cabin, and it was fine for an overnight stop. The bed was comfortable. The common area has a microwave, fridge, kettles, a selection of teas that you can make in a pot, bottled water and complementary treats. The hotel offered a free voucher for a nearby onsen, which looked lovely, but I did not visit it. The hotel also stored my luggage after checkout while I visited Naoshima. It's a little pricey for a cabin, but I was very happy with my stay."

"I was able to spend comfortably in a very clean facility! The food was very delicious and I was satisfied! The staff were kind and I was able to stay with peace of mind!
I would like to use it if I have another chance 😊"
"We happened to be here on a japan national holiday so the hotel was very crowded. Including the onsen. Overcrowded. But the staff was polite and patient. The onsen also provides many toiletries including face scrub and foot scrubber. Able to see nice sunset if u book a room with sea view"
"There is a free parking lot under the slope for 0 minutes walk.
The bath is a time rental for each room, and I am satisfied that I can take a nice bath with my partner."
