"The hotel is good overall, the food is especially pleasant, rich and delicious.
The hot spring bath is not big, but there is an open-air bath and the water is hot enough. The room is old"
"This was my first time for staying in ryokan. This ryokan has such a delight, warming services and very nice hotel staffs. Although I can not speak japanese, the language did not bring me any problems because we could use google translate and some of the innkeeper can speak English. I felt like I stay in my home and very enjoyed interacting with both hotel staffs and shiobara people. Besides, foods there were so delicious.
- traditional japanese food: they wrote a welcome note and descriptions of food in paper (in japanese) eg. Fish came from river beside hotel, everything was from local which I really really love it.
- local venison(deer meat): must try yakiniku
If you wanna avoid chaotic environment in the city, I would reccommend this place because you would feel a part of nature (natural sound is so nice) and you can find a true calm of your soul.
We were very surprised because we were only foreigner tourist in the hotel.
Thank you innkeeper and staff for caring us. We always miss there when we come back to busy city!"

"This is a Japanese-style hot spring inn in Xanadu Taoyuan. In the beautiful town in the mountains, the locals only speak Japanese and do not know other languages. So I can only communicate with hotel staff using body language and translation apps. When checking in, they were very warmly welcomed, offered hot tea, thoroughly introduced the hotel's facilities, services, hot springs, dinner and breakfast arrangements, and then led me to the room on the fourth floor. The room is very clean with private bathroom and toilet. The red suspension bridge downstairs can be viewed from the room terrace, the scenery is super beautiful! !! !! (Opening the glass door of the terrace requires skill and attention. If you do not know how to open it, you need to know the waiter. If you open the glass door at night, insects will fly in.) In addition, the hot spring bathing and cleaning space is sufficient and comfortable. Dinner and breakfast are not expensive ingredients, but there are many styles and delicious! !! !! Also, he is one of the few hotels in the area that can store luggage. At the same time, the JR Bus Terminal is in front, and there are other food markets in the vicinity, which is very convenient. (But there is no convenience store) Summary: With this price and the high-quality comfort service provided by the hotel, it is completely value-for-money and full marks! !! !!"

Amazing
DDongshanshaoyeTookiThe town seems to be a ghost town, and the ghosts can't be seen during the day. But this hotel is great, there is no bad service, dinner is also absolutely, thank you very much for the Chinese girl in the restaurant, and the front desk brother who can't speak English. Although I didn't see the scenery here in the early winter, I didn't regret coming!
GGuest UserFor the guests who are open to the soup, there are not many people, the indoor and outdoor are great
Arrived very late, a very kind old lady personally picked up the parking lot and helped with heavy luggage. Take us to visit the baths and rooms
The waiters during the day were also very enthusiastic and recommended attractions that we could sightseeing nearby. Because of the off-season, the attractions of the plateau are not regularly rested. Zuih went to a very close ranch, and the store personally sent us to the attractions. Too thoughtful
GGuest UserThe biggest feature is that you need to take a monorail tram to stay. The hotel is very new. The rooms are large and comfortable. Each room has a private soup on the balcony. The dinner can also be steamed and the cow is very special. The small restaurant will provide small buns at 6 pm, ramen at 10 pm, and there will be yoga, milk, lactic acid bacteria in the morning, and 24 hours. Small popsicles are provided. There are massage chairs and tea and coffee in the leisure area. The disadvantage is that the private soup should be circulating water, and the hotel does not have an outdoor area to visit, check-in and check-out may need to wait in line for the small tram.
GGuest UserThe exterior and interior are beautiful and the customer service attitude is very good.
The snacks were delicious. There were many kinds.
I want to go again.
EEgg yolkA good hotel of hospitality and good service. The receptionist managed to communicate with guests with a little English and cared to guide guests how to park the car properly even it was raining outside.
The breakfast in Japanese style was great, though they may urge to have it in time. The room is tidily kept with a neat balcony of tranquil street view and the tatami beds are comfortable. Onsen bath is amazing, but there is no locker for keeping your room key and personal clothing, creating a possible secuirty and hygiene concern.
DDeeEnjoyed the outdoor bath. Would have wanted more than a frozen meal to heat up for our dinner and breakfast. We found a shortcut from the bus station up the hill to the resort which didn't seem as steep as walking up the road .wo
GGuest UserThe image is very clean, the breakfast is good, next to the main road, there is a Yoshinoya nearby, the inside is more affordable and delicious. Recommend to come back next time.
ママサナミStable amount, cleanliness and size. It's enough to sleep without meals. This time I left early in the morning, so I included breakfast, but it was also helpful that the restaurant opened from 6:30 in the morning. It was a buffet, but there were many items and I was able to eat deliciously. I wanted at least two keys because I was staying with my family. I will use it again. Thank you very much.
TTaijiIt was a decent hotel, but the fun of making with the sincere owner and the hot springs were unexpectedly good. It is a good location for a foothold to Nasushiobara.
