"First trip to Vietnam!
I stayed at this hotel for two nights.
When choosing a hotel, there were three non-negotiables for me:
1. A clean room.
2. A good location.
3. A wide variety of delicious breakfast options.
Initially, I was a bit apprehensive about booking because there were few reviews and not much information available. However, it turned out to be a great success!
Not only were the room, bathtub, and vanity clean, but the lobby, hallways, and breakfast area were all spotless and pleasant. After a tiring day of walking, I felt instantly refreshed by the lovely scent and clean lobby upon entering the hotel. The plush carpet in the hallways was also easy on my feet.
The firmness of the bed and the softness of the bedding allowed me to sleep soundly. The slightly deep bathtub and the area around the sink were also very convenient to use.
Perhaps because it's a new hotel, there were USB charging ports available. I stayed at hotels in Hoi An and Da Nang afterwards, but this was the only one that had them.
The location was also excellent. I could walk to Hoan Kiem Lake and Train Street, and there were many famous restaurants and cafes near the hotel. It was incredibly convenient to be able to quickly return to the hotel when tired, take a break, and then resume exploring, especially since it was the rainy season.
The breakfast was fresh and had a rich variety. Even for us foodies, there was so much we wanted to eat that we couldn't finish it all.
However, the most remarkable aspect was the exceptional hospitality of the staff. Every single person—from the front desk, breakfast staff, spa, and bellboys to the cleaning crew—would greet us with a smile when we passed by.
Despite our limited English, they patiently used a translation app to answer our questions multiple times.
On our first morning at breakfast, we were initially given a Chinese menu. While I was fumbling to translate it, a staff member noticed us, asked for our room number, and quickly brought us a Japanese menu. I was so impressed that they could tell our nationality just from the room number and genuinely understood who was staying in which room.
During our stay, we didn't see any other Japanese guests. Most guests were Western, with about 30% being Asian. The quality of the guests was also high; the breakfast area was quiet, everyone was calm, and no one was loud or boisterous. Of course, we didn't hear any guest voices or noises late at night either. People would greet each other if they met in the elevator.
Everything was flawless and stress-free.
We were lucky to stay in this room at a very reasonable price, possibly due to an opening promotion. Although the prices are higher now, I would definitely want to stay here again."
