Ningbo Hotels with Wi-Fi

Ningbo is a special city to me. I have been back twice since graduation. I took Dabao once, and Xiaobao was three years old when I came the second time. The hotel I chose this time was a temporary reservation during the 5-1 period. This price is really a bargain in Tianyi. Great location. The professional and enthusiastic service attitude of Liang Shuang, the deputy manager of the front office department of the hotel, makes people feel at home. Will continue to choose next time!

Top in terms of location, facilities, staff friendliness and room standards. Zero stars for the quality of the dining experience, I'm afraid. Mediocre local dishes hopelessly overpriced and way below average by Ningbonese standards. Could have gone to Hanling village down the road or a bit further into Yinzhou for the same or similar dishes at a tenth of the price (and better quality). We felt it was quite an insult and if it hadn't been rather late and we hadn't been starving, we would have gotten up again and jumped in a Didi. My workplace canteen offers similar local dishes at less than 10 kuai/dish (ok, not a valid comparison, I must admit, but even the most expensive local restos don't charge more than 50 kuai either and provide bigger size portions and tastier). The portions were tiny and starters were priced on average at 100+ kuai while the mains, the size of starters, were on average 220+ kuai. Hardly reasonable for some seasonal veggies and 10 tiny rubbery beef cubes. The white wine hadn't been cooled (happens all the time but kinda unexpected if you pay 4,000 kuai a night for a resort in one of Ningbo's prime locations) and it was a cheap bottle priced at nearly 80 kuai a glass. Having stayed in a variety of luxury lakeside venues across Zhejiang over the years, we were pretty taken aback. For me it was the worst value for money food experience during my entire time in China. We loved our suite, the fitness facilities as well as the architecture of the entire resort though. The service was pretty professional and friendly even though hardly anyone speaks English which is surprising given that this place is regularly frequented by non-Chinese speakers from the local areas nearby (and we saw plenty of those for lunch). Also, in comparison to similar properties across Ningbo and Zhejiang, the breakfast was the worst also. Never mind the continental and English style brekkies (sometimes difficult to get right, we get that), even the Chinese dishes were mediocre (such as the soups, fried items etc) which was surprising. Should we return (we practically live down the road), we'll not spend a single penny on food in this place.

Staying in this hotel was really the right choice for me. I am an English teacher and have been in China for six months. It was an enjoyable experience at the Ningbo Kaiyuan Mingdu Hotel. The rooms have adequate heating, and we got fresh towels and water every day. Mengna's butler service is very good, she sent us milk and fruit as a gift to our room during Christmas. This hotel is really amazing. Ordering takeout can be delivered to the room door using A robot which makes it really convenient. It's worth a visit! The hotel is also equipped with a heated swimming pool and a gym, and spa. The breakfast was buffet and had a variety of things to eat. The rooms are spacious and bright and beautiful. I was placed on the 17th floor, which is a higher floor and very quiet. Great service, the staff are very friendly, I highly recommend it.

The hotel is very nice and the decor is of a high standard. I felt the room was a little stuffy and air con was a little.difficult to adjust.

Have little uncomfortable feeling during breakfast time owing guest without advance payment for that. The core reason is ”the waitress insisted, it's hotel rule and regulation, guest have to pay before eating”, this incident is happened on Aug 23,2023 morning section at 6F”, it's the first time shock me for more than 20 years travel and staying in hotel not only in Ningbo, but also all over world.

In the spring season, we chose to travel to Dongqian Lake in Ningbo. We chose this Narada Hotel on Ctrip. The hotel is surrounded by a large area of ​​beautiful cherry blossom trees and rapeseed flowers. We can fully experience and enjoy the most beautiful view of the hotel in March. Before and after the stay, Ms. Zhou at the front desk followed up the entire process. Although it happened to be her day off, she still responded to various questions in a timely manner on WeChat, enthusiastically and thoughtfully proposed solutions to the problems, answered all questions, and was attentive and considerate. The only regret is that there were not enough waiters in the lobby to provide attentive service in a timely manner, but the manager's apology and sincerity before leaving made us forget a little bit of the unpleasantness. It will be better next time, thank you!

The hotel facilities and services are very consistent with those of a five-star hotel. When I went to Ningbo on the weekend, it happened to rain, so I had to stay in the hotel for 2 days. Fortunately, the hotel has a good view and complete facilities. The restaurant provides a variety of buffet dinners and breakfasts with various ingredients. Fresh and overall feeling very comfortable. The hotel has a large underground garage, and parking is very convenient. I took photos of the night view outside the window, which is beautiful!

I travel a lot for work and this is the first time writing a bad review ever. I was disappointed with this hotel for 2 reasons: 1. Staff at front desk does not speak English. Although my Chinese is OK, they were unwilling to help me. I had an issue with a booking (caused by trip.com). Trip was very friendly and helpful. Staff at front desk told me it wasn’t their problem that they couldn’t find a booking and I should figure it out with the agent, however I clearly had a confirmed booking on my phone. I know the problem wasn’t caused at the hotel, but at the same time I have a booking here with a payment FOR YOUR HOTEL. The least you can do is do everything you can to help me check this issue. Furthermore I had to cancel one night booked for my colleague due to change of plans. If they told me from the beginning cancellation is not possible, my colleague would’ve changed the plan accordingly. The staff told me I should check with trip.com and if they could process the cancellation the hotel can agree. However, we spend 2 days going back and forth, talking to the front desk and talking to trip.com customer service to try and figure it out. Finally at 10 pm (!!!) of the night of the cancellation they finally informed me they cannot cancel. By that time it was too late and my colleague already checked into another hotel, so we spend double the money for no reason. 2. The breakfast is not good, food is low quality. The hotel is clearly locally managed, you can feel it in terms of customer service and food quality. I do not recommend.

I saw in the reviews that the Marriott Hotel has an excellent location and excellent service, so I chose the Ningbo Marriott to stay. It really lived up to my expectations. The hotel service is very enthusiastic. From the concierge at the door, I ran over to open the door to pick up my luggage, and went to the lobby with the golden key. The service manager Xiao Guo gave warm greetings and introduced the surrounding attractions of the hotel. The young lady who checked in at the front desk was also very professional and enthusiastic. Later, Xiao Cao from the concierge helped me carry my luggage. In the elevator, he introduced us to the hotel’s gym and swimming pool Chinese restaurant. When we got to the room, I asked him where to eat at one of the more popular restaurants in Ningbo. The young man helped us recommend Yongshang Mingzao, Zhuangyuanlou, Mr. Shui, and Ningdong Banquet, I finally chose to go to Mr. Shui. The dishes are good and have Ningbo characteristics. The room attendants are very considerate, clean and provide enthusiastic service. When we left the next day, we met Xiao Cao who was working the early shift again because he bought a lot of Ningbo specialties and wanted to send them away. Xiao Cao helped us send express delivery and called a taxi for us to take us away warmly. The five-star Ningbo Marriott Hotel The service is definitely worthy of the reputation. I will choose Ningbo Marriott Hotel next time I travel.
