"There is a free airport shuttle (half hour) which is very friendly. The hotel facilities are okay and the service is very good. It is very close to the airport and there is noise from planes taking off and landing, but there are not many planes at night. When you go out of the hotel, turn left and there is a very cheap supermarket 400 meters away. It seems to be called Dennes, which is very convenient."

"The place is close to airport, just 5 min. Close to train station also, about 7 min walk. However, the hotel has no air condition and fan provided was so old and noisy. Probably if it during cold season, should not a problem but during my stay it was summer and early fall. Therefore you can feel the heat."

"Good thing first - the breakfast is fine. Worst sleeping couch I experienced ever - every single spring in the mattress was stabbing me;( - why not a foam mattress? Ironically they promote ”Beds with a whole new level of comfort”, lol. Some mold in the bathroom. Finally the parking lot damaged my car by an idiotically placed larger concrete brick. Placed there by purpose according to a janitor to protect a pillar from damage. Thus at least one other car was scratched during our one night stay. We will sue the hotel that denies any responsibility."

"The hotel is conveniently located close to the Zurich Airport and has free and frequent shuttle service to the departures area at the airport that goes every 20 minutes. The beds are comfy and the room is well stocked with free bottled water, tea/coffee station with a few options and a mini fridge. The shower was nice with good pressure but has the combined hair/body wash gel in a dispenser so you may want to consider bringing your own bath products. The linens were clean and soft but there were some crumbs left on the chair that made us feel it wasn't as clean as we thought it should be at the hotel. They did provide one small chocolate for the two of us in a small Swiss flag package but we feel they should have two. The rooms at this hotel run a bit warm even in November and with the window open and it wasn't as restful a sleep as we would like to get before a flight. The lighting in the room is all provided by lamps and we felt it was odd that the left side of the bed had a switch to control the lamp outlet on the right side of the bed. We felt the lamp should have its own control near it and I did unplug it before I went to bed because we didn't discover the wall switch until the next morning and simply unplugged it. That plug in is also difficult to access and I had difficulty getting lights on in the room in the morning because I also unplugged the desk lamp for the tea kettle and did not know where the floor lamp switch was. Check in went quite smooth and the front desk staff were friendly - They offered to set up an Accor membership account and offered two free welcome drinks to us. The hotel has a bar in the lobby area, offers breakfast for an additional fee and has a small convenience store behind the front desk where you can get snacks or Movenpick ice cream. Check out was quick as well and we were able to get on to the free shuttle bus easily but it is first come first serve so it might be worth going a bit early if you're in a hurry. We got to the airport a little late to return our car rental and it was a bit tricky getting to the hotel. We went to the hotel shuttle area and could not find the shuttle that went to the Movenpick despite asking a few drivers. It is about a 10 minute drive from the airport itself so we asked a taxi driver and they offered to do the ride for 30 CHF which was insane considering Uber can do it for 15 CHF. The tram was the best option and took us from Banhof to Banhof Balsberg station for 2.8 CHF each and it was a short walk to the hotel entrance."

"The parking is extremely hard to find if you are driving. When you see the building on your right, after passing by the building, turn right and just stop along the road where it says for pick-up and drop off. The Front office is just right there, check-in, get your key, pay for parking and you can access the parking which is right in between 2 buildings. It’s super misleading and you need your room key. Just be aware as there is a road slightly further down with red “labels” on the ground, you cannot drive on those!! I learnt it the hard way.  Anyway breakfast is very good and well worth it! Rooms are also good."

"Stayed here for 2 nights. Reception is 24/7. Can leave luggage for storage after check-out, they have baggage tags for claiming and will store them in a separate storage room outside the building. It’s right outside the tram station and 10 min walk to S Bahn Kloten Balsberg station. Room is very cold in December, no heater. Floor is so cold, no slippers provided. Hot water in bathroom works fine. Hair dryer is available in the room. EU sockets are only available in the lobby near reception, only swiss sockets are available in the room. We had to charge our device using single slot USB A cable in the TV. Triple room is a double bed with top bunk bed. Space is very small, cannot open big luggages. Has elevator/lift."

"Ibis Zurich City West (I booked it thinking it was City West near the airport) The English name is Messe Airport. You can get there by tram from the airport and walk for 15 minutes. It was hard to drag my big suitcase around. We had to take a detour because of construction going on nearby. The accommodation is a business hotel. It's clean. Breakfast is delicious. No fridge x The staff didn't really care about us. I think they need to change the Korean name of the hotel on Trip.com!! I think other people might be confused like me."
