It is a very bad experience in my trip. although the hotel is in a good location the attitude of the staff are really rude. When we first check in to the hotel it is a woman serve us. then they give us a room which is in fifth floor. we step inside the room it smell very smelly like somebody have smoke in the room for a very long time but the profile of the hotel already state out that it is a non smoking room. Also the cable of the television exposed to the ground it almost kick us down when we walk around in the room and the light of the room are very dim. There are stains on the bed sheets we get back to the reception and tell the other staff which is a man with a suit. We state out what we see and smell in the room and tell him I want to get my money back and change another hotel unfortunately he don’t accept this solution.then we ask him to change other room then he ask me why by google translates. even like “why”this easy word he still need to use translation. I can’t believe that this is the English level of a hotel staff that near the namba station. what an ugly English! Finally he help us to change the room but we have stand and wait there for almost half and hour but actually I have already see him place the key out and he start packing other things. He give me the key when I start getting annoying and ask him with a loud sound. The last night of my trip was all been disturbed because of this hotel and the staff. What are really bad travel experiences!!!

Basic hotel that serves all the needs. Everything I see on site is exactly same as on the website so very clear what I would be getting. Check in staffs was very polite and helpful. The room is always cleaned and neatly done for us when we get back hotel at end of day. It's literally less than 5mins or maybe 3mins walk from Namba Station exit 5! Super convenient. Room is a bit old but still fine, don't smell and clean. Wouldn't mind staying here again for next visit. Would recommend this hotel to friends who are not fussy.

Without going into too-specific detail, I was forced to contact the hotel a day or two before our booking with a request that was outside the conditions in force when we made the booking. .The proprietor wrote back swiftly and courteously, assuring s that the Grampus would fit in with our special need. He was so nice about it that I was truly glad when the request turned out not to be needed as our difficulty worked itself out. But we breathed more-easily because of his attitude.

Room is small. Hotel facing big main road and can be noisy at night.

For this price point, the room size and amenities are fine. However, although the hotel says all the rooms are non-smoking, the room is was given reeked of cigarette smoke. This is seriously uncomfortable for a non-smoker. Unfortunately there was no replacement room available so I ****** it up and checked out early the next day.

Room is abit old and small but still acceptable for the price i paid. Location was good in the heart of Namba,very near Nankai line if you are arriving from Kansai Airportt.Helpful & polite staff.Will consider staying again for return trip.

Hotel cleaned, nearby shopping area, nearby metro station. It quite convenience. On another hand, the collection between traveler and Trip.Com aren’t OK. Due of payment 3 days prior staying but trip.com collected money after booking.

Very cheap and not bad for just sleeping. Not too far from Dontonburi. The staff was nice and friendly.

Superb location and the room is spacious. But this is an old building with old facility. But you cant be picky as the price is super worthy.

This hotel is enough to reach Namba metro or train station. Is an old sch hotel with the minimum n quite small. To us a convenient location is impt to us as we were out most of the time n it provided convenience to travel from Osaka to Kyoto too.

The blanket is dirty with cake crumb. The facility is old and feel scratchy after sleep on the bed.

Room size is big bit wifi is slow and facilities are old

everything is alright the location is in prime area, I can walk to Dontoburi and subway station easily the room is clean and has space. the officer is nice I recommend if you find accommodation near Dontoburi

Staff are friendly. It's a general hotel that matches the price.
