Hotel Villa d'Amato

Palermo|0.57km from Parrocchia San Sergio I Papa
Greeted by friendly receptionist on arrival late at night. Check in was quick and easy. Our room was on the 2nd floor, the upper-most floor. The room was spacious and well equipped, with two beds, bedside tables, a large chair, a desk, a fridge, television, but most importantly an air-conditioning unit. Everything was in good working order. The outlet plugs are the strange italian 3-pin ones as opposed to the usual Europe 2-pin model, so not all our adaptors worked. Bathroom was decent and has everything one would expect. The shower is rather on the small side and could do with higher water pressure. More than ample lighting in the room. Our only real complaint of the stay is that every single night (we stayed 5 nights) there was an awful noise and commotion coming from directly below the hotel’s balcony - some kind of odd party going on every night. Unsure if this was related to the hotel itself or not. This noise continued well into 02:00H / 2am. I messaged reception every night that ‘il rumore é troppo forte’ but nothing was ever done. Dinner was absolutely awful - shocking quality at extortionate prices; hardly anything traditionally italian either. Save yourself and go somewhere local or in the city centre. Much better and cheaper elsewhere. Location seems good but public transport in the area is abysmal and should not be relied upon. Taxis are incredibly expensive, especially for tourists. Apart from those issues it was a good stay and would stay again. I just wouldn’t dine in the restaurant ever again, and would probably request a room away from that god-forsaken balcony.

Bastione Spasimo Boutique Hotel

We spent a few nights in this newly opened boutique hotel created through a modern and fascinating renovation, within the walls of the Kalsa district of Palermo. Breakfast is of the highest quality with lots of choice and well presented. Our room, which overlooked the internal garden with swimming pool, was not large, but very pleasant, efficient and comfortable: we slept well. In front there is a small furnished and truly pleasant private garden area. The swimming pool is a pleasant and perfect refreshing oasis after visits and excursions for a swim or an aperitif. The location and the structure of the hotel itself made us appreciate the fascinating Kalsa neighborhood of Palermo even more

New structure with the pointing of things done well. Young and gentle staff. Very large and very high rooms, well furnished, with angle cooking, all new. Large bathroom with shower with hydromassage. Common spaces at closed and outdoor. Just next to the central station. Excellent quality/price ratio, very recommended.

The hotel was not obvious for us - when we arrived, we drove around for about 10 minutes looking for a sign before parking on the wrong side of the road, and having to call for instructions. It was our fault, as the hotel tried contacting us earlier in the day but we did not have signal to take the call. Once we were instructed to the right place, it was super straightforward as Gianluca buzzed us in remotely, and upon verifying ID, let us into the unit and our bedroom. The lift in the building was super cool - for this experience alone I recommend staying in this hotel. The room was charming. Our previous hotel was a suite so this felt a bit small, but it was homely all the same. The small downside was how warm it felt in the room. The air conditioning wouldn't work with the windows open, but it wasn't running very strong. At night, we preferred keeping the window open for some fresh air instead. The poster bed added a quaint and romantic feel to the room, and we were absolutely spoilt with a surprise of a bottle of Prosecco as a gift! Of course, the highlight of the whole place was the jacuzzi in the bathroom. As we both had to do some work and also were tired from a road trip, all of these little touches made the stay in this hotel incredibly luxurious for us. I really recommend this place for a romantic getaway or a honeymoon.

Great location by the sea if you are looking to see palermos true culture! Lovely room with a view of the ocean and walking distance to restaurants even for a late night dinner. Near the Park of Parrots, and a 10 min taxi ride away from central Palermo which i recommend you visit.
Antadia B&B

In fact, it is more like a homestay. There are four rooms with independent bathrooms and a shared kitchen on the first and fifth floors (equivalent to the second and sixth floors in China). The so-called breakfast is just ready-made small bread, tea bags and coffee bags. , willing to cook here is the best choice, and the location is also great. It is less than ten minutes walk to the Central Railway Station, where you can take the airport bus for 6 euros an hour to the airport. It may be a problem with the communication between Ctrip and the homestay. In fact, each person has to pay 1.5 euros of tax per day, but the homestay also charges a cleaning fee of 10 euros per day. This is because the official website of Ctrip did not publicize or the owner of the homestay did not inform Ctrip in advance. It is recommended that all expenses be paid Included in the room price for guests to choose.
