Hotels near Millomeris Waterfall Sign in Pano Platres

Went 30 December 2022 to spent the last couple of days of the year in what it supposed to be a cosy mountainous hotel set up. It was just that. A cosy refurbished old hotel in the middle of a forest, a short walking distance from Platres village. There is a huge history concerning the role the hotel played as the place for the rich and famous in the early 20th century until the end of the 80's. Royals, movie stars and wealthy individuals stayed at the hotel, photos of which are everywhere. The room was clean, the temperature was perfect and everything worked just fine. The a la cart menu offers few choices, but the food quality was above average to our satisfaction. Not expensive as well. The wine list was short and was focused to local wineries from which there was a handful of worth to try (if you are familiar with the local varieties or if you can get help from the head waiter). Excellent service at the restaurant, smiling faces everywhere and helpful staff in every corner. Taking under consideration the fact that is a facility deep in the forest, old and with a well established mountainous character, it is unfair to judge the simplicity of the design or the lack of 5 modern star building materials. You get what you pay and that is not a high end 21st century super luxury hotel. There is of course room for improvement starting from the unacceptable condition of the private road when you enter the gates heading upwards for the Hotel (about 4 hundred meters). It's totally destroyed and no maintenance have been taken place for decades. There is no lighting to help you avoid the holes so if you are not cautious your car might end up with some kind of damage. If this piece of road is part of the land that belongs to the hotel , then this is totally unacceptable. Generally though a good experience.

Great service from all the staff - reception/lobby, breakfast room, housekeeping, spa/hairdressing, bar/room service. Liked the location. Days off - two 'city bicycle' hire stands (Nextbike by Tier) nearby gave me the wheels to explore old town and surroundings. On remote working days - Walking distance to a great little vegan food van, organic supermarket and Bobo pops (ice cream), walks were welcome breaks from the laptop. Room impeccably clean and very comfortable, north facing room on 4th floor had a pleasant city/mountains view. Mini fridge was great for keeping snacks (and sundowners!) cool. WiFi worked well, I remote worked with it, without any problems, for over two weeks. The desk and chair were comfortable and there were enough well located plugs - and the blurred Zoom background looked professional (although it was the bed/headboard!). Breakfast was excellent, usual hot/cold stuff plus lots of fruit and 'Cypriot table' with interesting things to try out (sweet pickled walnuts, tahini cake, olives - yum). Miss the yoghurt already - with walnuts or almonds, goji berries, chia seeds etc. Free car parking on site was available, discovered a minor overnight scratch on my vehicle on the last morning but luckily had taken a zero excess insurance policy for falling rocks at Troodos mountains. Spa and hairdressing treatments were reasonably priced and available at short(ish) notice, at least now, during the 'off-season'. Had a haircut and four massage treatments, great way to relax after the remote work days when my time off was more limited. So all in all: a really pleasant stay - thank you Ajax!

The hotel is located at the seaside, a four-star hotel, with convenient eating and drinking nearby, sunny beaches, and natural baths everywhere, but the bathrooms in the rooms not close to the seaside are narrower, the hotel's WI-FI signal is average, if you come on vacation, it is not good Two choices

A great and very stylish new Hotel !!! The receprionist Staff was very friendly and absolutely profesional, treat their customers always with a smile and respect. Guest relation manager (Jamie) will do always his best to assist you !!! As for the location great, no car needed at all, close to all great places to visit by foot !!! Well done to all NYX limassol staff.

I came to Casale Panayiotis to celebrate my 50th birthday with my closest friends and family who all enjoyed my celebrations at the Kava which I booked for my private event and my guests all stayed over too. My family and I stayed for three nights to enjoy the local surroundings, the village and the spa facilities. Honestly, we all had an amazing time. The staff not only treated me like royalty but all my guests too. We had a fabulous time. Angelos, Kyriakos and all the team were incredible on the night of my party. Nothing was too much trouble and every request I had (which there were several) were all met with smiles and attentiveness. I couldn’t have asked for more. The food was amazing all thanks to the chef and his team, thank you. As an event planner myself I understand the headaches of demands with so many tiny details and everything I asked for was met perfectly. Iliania and Axis from the operations and F&B team have answered every query I had in all the planning and preparations long before I arrived. Honestly 5* doesn’t do justice to the way in which I and all my guests have been treated. Thank you all for an incredible party that I will remember and cherish forever and to the fabulous stay and 100% the best massage I have ever had from Kiki in the spa. Thank you so much

for the price we paid we felt we had overall a very good experience staying at this hotel. The room was lovely and the balcony area was big enough for 2 sun loungers and a 4 set dining table which got the sun from about 11am onwards (Sept time). My only negative point would be the cleanliness of the pool. All over our stairs was black mould which at times would float about and the grout was badly needing scraped so i felt myself dodging this when i was going in the pool which is a bit off putting. The pool did get cleaned once when we were there (12 days) which made it a bit better but not for long. Otherwise the room itself was very clean. The other downfall was at the swim up suites the bar was closed!? so no music/drinks which we were not told about when booking.

The staff are extremely helpful and friendly, the breakfast was very nice and very fresh, all in all great value for the money , the rooms are big and bright with a lovely view of the pool and the sea

Stayed for 4 nights on a golf trip with 3 friends September 2023, also stayed here with friend September 2022. Let's talk value for money - 10/10 Staff - 10/10 Accommodation - basic but very, very clean, no TV but wireless worked fine in the room I had, 9/10 Food - we were B&B only but the choice was outstanding, loved the porridge. 9/10 (Buffet style trays needed replenishing a bit quicker, but very rarely) Bar - good choice but no Guinness, (not a lager drinker), so 9/10 Add a pool, pool table, free entertainment, pleasant & manicured gardens with s shop on-site this is a 3 star hotel than punched well above its weight. I have no hesitation of returning or recommending to other.
