I used to vacation here with my family as a kid and now I had the chance to vacation here with my own kids. The Atlantis is always a magical place with the overwhelming amount of sea life and unique architecture. We stayed at the Royal which puts you in the center of all the pools and restaurants. My kids had a blast on the rapid river ride and the crystal blue water beaches. We had a chance to dine at many of the restaurans like Nobu, Chopsticks and Silan. Breakfast at Poseidon's was nice, but the restaurant is so cold that once you get your food to your table it's already cold, so don't overload your plate. As for the room, we splurged on an Imperial 2 bedroom Regal suite. If you are traveling with kids and can splurge, this is a must have. The renovated rooms where beautiful, space and had amazing views of all the aquariums with turtles, stingray and other sea life. Our only issue on this trip was the resort not wanting to honor a 200 resort credit offered at the time of booking, however after a few phone calls, not only did the The Royal honor the credit, they gave an additional credit for the inconvenience that we did not ask for. Highly recommend The Royal at Atlantis if you are weighing different options
