SsknoseyThe free breakfast is not a full buffet but a choice of egg and then usually fried potato and beefburger patty or slices of sausage. the rest was tiny yoghurt and bread for toast, or make your own waffles. there is tea coffee and hot chocolate. There was cereal and porridge but sometimes it is made so thin that its not worth eating. There is no tea in the room, just coffee. The machine had a disposable tray but they ran out so I used the same one for 9 days for tea and coffee (i got teabags from the breakfast room). Housekeeping never supplied what you asked for first time, or even second. If you want something and ask at 2pm, you will get it if you chase a couple of times afterwards by 9-10pm. There was also alot of messing about with respect to check out time. I am a member of the loyalty programme which is meant to give you an automatic late checkout. The manager gave it to me but then when I went back to ask about extending it further for a fee, it was clear the other guy behind the counter was on a power trip and the day before started saying I shouldnt have got it and as it was the manager, he wouldnt withdraw it but he could and I should only get an hour and be charged $25/hr after that etc. He was just a mean spiteful man who saw an opportunity to cause worry and distress and he did it. I had luggage to store and it was a late flight so I had to know whether to pack to store it to check out at midday, or 1 or 2 or 3 or 4 (they were messing me about with all times) but this is why I gave a 1 star for service. It is not at all professional but childish and spiteful. I had arranged the extended checkout days before and the day before they were messing me about when I had to pack and had a schedule of things to do? The worst service in any hotel I have ever been in. Hilton is no longer a 5 star experience it seems. 1 star for service.

MMianqiuweibaThe hotel is located in the Loop area, with a relatively high safety factor. The location is excellent, close to the Chicago River, and it is very convenient for boat trips. It is very convenient to go to various attractions, whether it is the Magnificent Mile or Millennium Park and the Chicago Art Museum, you can walk there. The hotel service is OK, and they do not actively provide toiletries, but you can ask the front desk to provide them. I need to remind you: when choosing a room, it is recommended to choose a room without breakfast. The so-called breakfast is just a $20 coupon for you to go to the restaurant on the first floor, but you can't have a satisfactory breakfast for $20, and you need to tip and pay taxes. The key is: the difference between breakfast and no breakfast is almost enough to book a room without breakfast. The explanation given by the hotel is: the price with breakfast allows customers to cancel the reservation at any time a few hours before check-in, which only gives you the right to cancel the reservation. This is the only unpleasant point of the stay. I stayed for 5 nights and spent nearly 6,000 yuan to buy this breakfast. Although the solution provided by Ctrip is a drop in the bucket, it is more important to be in a good mood when you go out, so I just give up. I hope Ctrip can clearly state the terms and conditions in the product details in the future, and I also hope that the comments can help everyone~

GGuest UserMy stay at the Moxy Chicago was fantastic! From the moment we walked in, the atmosphere was vibrant, modern, and welcoming. The room was thoughtfully designed—every inch of space was used efficiently without sacrificing comfort or style. One of my favorite parts was spending time on the outdoor patio. It was the perfect place to relax, enjoy the beautiful weather, and chat. The lobby was full of life with a great DJ creating a fun vibe, and I appreciated that the snack and drink selection included quality options instead of just typical junk food. We were even welcomed with complimentary drinks, which was a really nice touch. Throughout our stay, we always felt safe, and every staff member we interacted with was friendly, attentive, and genuinely helpful. I also loved that the lounge areas and games weren’t just there for decoration—they were actually being enjoyed by guests, making the hotel feel social and inviting. It’s clear that the Moxy was designed to bring people together while still providing a comfortable place to unwind. This stay completely won me over. My next hotel stay will definitely be at a Moxy property. I can’t wait to experience another location, and I would highly recommend Moxy Chicago to anyone looking for a fun, stylish, and memorable stay in the city!

TTina ZhengThis hotel is absolutely perfect! The cleanliness is excellent, and they even provide a kettle for boiling water. The surroundings are beautiful. My only gripe is the incredibly high parking fee. The cost of parking, plus taxes and tips, nearly equals the price of the room itself.

GGuest UserExcellent location. The staff were very friendly. The only downside was the breakfast; even though it states you've booked breakfast, when you arrive, you only get credit to use at the restaurant, and the credit isn't enough for a full breakfast. Plus, they serve very few people at a time, so you have to wait to eat. On our last day, we had to wait an hour.

GGuest UserThe hotel is located right in the city center, with a subway station just outside the entrance. A big bonus is the large supermarket right next door (as shown in the picture), which has everything you could possibly need, from groceries to daily necessities.

GGuest UserA very good hotel. Housekeeping was done daily, and it was very clean. The towels were pristine white, and the bed was comfortable, though I found the pillows a bit uncomfortable. Breakfast was a little pricey; they had fresh-cut fruit, but it wasn't very tasty. The lobby didn't offer 24-hour coffee, but the in-room coffee was pretty good.

GGuest UserOverall, I had a very good stay at this hotel. The room was comfortable, and I really liked the filtered water station on our floor. It had several options and was very convenient. Guest services were excellent. Anytime we made a request, they handled it quickly and professionally. After the first night, housekeeping took our towels but didn’t replace them, so we had to call and ask for more. Thankfully, after that, we didn’t have any other towel issues. Housekeeping overall was a bit different than what I’m used to. They made the beds and handled the bathroom by emptying the trash, picking up dirty towels, and refilling tissues, but they didn’t take out the trash in the main room. Since we had a lot of takeout, that trash piled up pretty quickly. They also didn’t replenish items like used tea bags or glassware, which would’ve been helpful. We also had an issue with the fridge. It stayed warm for the first few days until we realized it hadn’t been turned on. Once we figured that out, it worked fine, but it would’ve been nice if it had been checked before we arrived. The hotel is in a beautiful location, which added to the overall experience. Despite the few small issues, the staff was friendly and responsive, and the positives definitely outweighed the negatives. I would absolutely book with them again!

RRommel919lobby is on the 2nd floor, check in was a breeze, no need to see the passport .. just gave me the key and we were set to go we stayed for 4 nights, but there was no Cleaning done.. i have to request for an extra towel since we are 4 in a room and they only provided for 2. we run out of body soap in the next day and had to pick it up in the lobby , and no one came to install it .. so we just put it in the corner.. not on the wall location was good, easy to get into public transport , if not too sensitive its a walking distance to the magnificent mile.. gym was Ok , laundry service is 3$ each cycle.. and you need to install an app to pay... and you can't load exact amount so if you are going to do a single laundry just use the credit card you pay 3.25 though, but you only pay for what you use.. apple pay or tap to pay not working.. so bring your CC with you, another thing, if you use the app, it will let you know if the laundry is done.. but some people still don't come down to remove their clothes to need to ask the lobby to take it out and put in the rack provided breakfast was nothing special., if you wake up late many people already and hard to find a table, and the refill is not too fast.. only a handful of variety for the food. coffee and tea are available the whole day as long as its not yet depleted..

GGuest UserMy Honest Experience After Reading Negative Reviews I was initially quite hesitant to check into this hotel after reading a number of detailed and lengthy negative reviews, especially those highlighting hidden fees and cleanliness issues. However, upon arrival with my partner, I was pleasantly surprised. The hotel was clean and well-decorated, with a modern and cohesive style. Our check-in process was fast and efficient, and the receptionist was friendly and happy to answer all of our questions—especially about the fees mentioned on the hotel’s website. One of the main issues people seem to bring up is the so-called “hidden” fees. In my experience, these fees are not actually hidden—they’re listed on the hotel’s official website. That said, they could definitely be communicated more clearly. It’s important to read the fine print when booking and during check-in. While the fees may not be obvious at first glance, the hotel is legally allowed to include them since they are technically disclosed. Our room was spacious and comfortable, with enough space to hang clothes. There were multiple hangers, and the locker-style closets matched the hotel’s sporty decor. The floor and bathroom were clean overall, though I did spot a spider in the corner of the shower—but nothing alarming. The downstairs common area includes an open kitchen with a communal fridge and even a crockpot, which was a nice surprise. There were also several games available, like ping pong and air hockey, which makes this place family- and couple-friendly. Guests are allowed to enjoy drinks provided in the kitchen. If you’re sensitive to noise, particularly trains, I recommend requesting a room farther down the hall on the first floor. Our room was in a quiet spot—I barely noticed the train, and when I did, it was more like soft white noise. Still, bringing earplugs might help if you’re a light sleeper. Overall, I recommend this hotel. It’s in a nice area, the decor is visually appealing, and the stay was enjoyable. Just be aware of a $120 refundable deposit (if no damage is done to the room) and an additional $50 guest fee. Knowing that ahead of time helps avoid surprises. I’m very grateful for the pleasant stay and would return again.
