Rydges Perth Kings Square an EVT hotel Reviews

Good location as it is only under 10min walk from the main Perth Train Station. Right in the city center so it’s convenient to get to a lot of places. Plenty of cafes nearby and also happens to be near the Chinatown area to access more late night food. Hotel room is kept clean, very spacious, and helpful/friendly check-in staff! Only downside is lack of providing complimentary bottled water as it’s in the paid mini fridge. Good stay overall!

The hotel is well-located, roughly 20 minutes from the airport, and it's very convenient to get a Didi ride. The front desk staff were extremely diligent and helpful.

Fantastic location. For me, it was perfect as I was looking to hit some bars and have a relaxed night out in the city. The hotel is conveniently located right next to Perth Metro Station. Plus, there are great bars nearby, such as Belgian Beer Cafe, The Generous Squire, Royal Perth, and Durty Nelly's, to name a few. You'll find plenty of food options, clubs, shopping, and pretty much anything else you could ask for. The room was clean and larger than anticipated, equipped with most of the necessary amenities. However, our view was unfortunately just a blank wall, so there wasn't much to look at. Despite that, it was still quite good overall.

Location is convenient. Comfy bed. A few stains around the room were a bit off putting though. I really appreciated how quiet it was in my room.

Wonderful place! Quiet, well located, very nice and helpful staff. The rooms are perfect. Everything is perfect, by the exception of the breakfast that is expensive.

Our stay at Rydges Perth King Square was very satisfied. The location is the highlight, it’s very convenient for walking to other places. Staff are helpful.

Simple and fuss free hotel. Close to CBD and good for a one night stay

Amenities are lacking, no slippers provided. Fridge was stocked with chargeable drinks so there is no space to store our own drinks. Housekeeping was lacklustre as stains on counters were not wiped. Drainage in shower stall is also weirdly configured that may lead to small flood outside the stall. Good amount of tea sachets provided. Bed is also very comfortable. Location is good and luggage storage is provided after check out.

Lovely room with nice staff. They do take a 250 dollar deposit though. They let me keep my luggage there after I checked out.

The room was a bit small, and there was no bottled water. Other than that, everything was great.

had a very bad experience with the hotel - realised after checking my credit card transaction that they charged me for incidental charges, mentioning that the housekeeping smelt smoke (indicating that we smoked) while cleaning up. the point is, i am a non-smoker! hotel did not even bother sending any email/notification to mention charges or deductions being made. i stayed at the hotel for 8 nights so i find it ridiculous that they are mentioning smoke on the day of check out. furthermore, i checked out of my room at 9.15 am (i booked an airport pickup so i’m certain of the timing) and i’m certain housekeeping isnt done the very next minute, thus how can they confirm that the smoke was due to smoking in the room by us? am awaiting reply from the hotel + trip regarding the situation but i am feeling so wrongfully accused that i have to write a review about this. on a side note, housekeeping did not bother changing the bedsheets till i wrote a note to politely request for them to change - there were evident stains on the bedsheet hence i knew they did not change the sheets.
