SSssdddshalaThe room was a bit small, but the bathroom was relatively spacious. Overall, it was clean and tidy, and disposable slippers were provided.
The hotel's location is excellent, within walking distance of Santa Lucia train station. The front desk staff were very friendly and service-oriented. The breakfast was just okay, nothing special.
Now for some downsides. First, and this might be a common issue for hotels on the island of Venice (just my guess), the interior layout was quite convoluted, requiring switches between two elevators. Second, the air freshener scent in the room was quite strong.

MM255516****The facility is old but all well functional. Anyways this building can be traced back to year 1879.
All the staff are very friendly.
They have upgraded our room because of honeymoon, really appreciate that.
The interior decoration is very vintage and classic.
The breakfast is really out of our expectation.
Overall a very cost effective choice!
Also, the location is great and it is quite near to the train station, no need to take your luggage to cross the bridges!

If you exit Venice Santa Lucia Train Station, you need to take the Line 5.1 water bus (45-50 minutes) to Lido Station.
It takes 17-20 minutes to walk from Lido S.M.E Station. If you have a lot of luggage, such as (2 pieces/more than 2 pieces), it is recommended to call a car directly. It is quite tiring to walk and push the suitcase.
The hotel room I was given this time was very large, enough for 4 people~ I booked a double bed room for 1-2 people online (at that time, a friend was still waiting to decide whether to join)~ In the end, my friend was not able to join~ But the room the hotel gave me had 3 beds (1 double bed + 2 single beds) which was a bit unexpected~ It is more suitable for family travel.
The hotel environment is very good~ Facing the sea and spring flowers blooming.
There is a courtyard, lawn and chairs at the door of the room for rest ~ a strong seaside villa holiday style ~

But I didn't see any slippers. Of course, you have to get water from the minibar ~ and of course you have to buy it yourself ~ This is similar in European hotels. It's within the expected situation.
For breakfast - the overall difference between hotels in Europe with a price range of 1-1.5k/night is not big: mainly Western style - bread, milk, juice, eggs, ham, cheese, coffee... Chinese stomachs have to overcome themselves.
Travel is also quite convenient. If you need to go to the main island or other islands, walk 1.1 kilometers to Lido Station to take the water bus.

GGuest UserI had an absolutely wonderful stay at BW Premier Collection Continental and couldn’t be happier with my experience.
The location is unbeatable — just a five-minute walk from Santa Lucia Train Station, which makes arriving in Venice incredibly easy, especially with luggage. You’re right in the heart of the city while still being able to relax comfortably.
The service was truly impeccable, from reception to room service. Every staff member I interacted with was kind, attentive, and genuinely welcoming. One moment that really stood out: I was allowed to sit on the lobby couch and enjoy a bottle of wine that I hadn’t purchased from the hotel — something that almost never happens. Not only did they allow it, but they brought me glasses and even opened the bottle for me with a smile.
Later, I went to buy more wine from the bar, and even though they had technically just closed, they still served me without hesitation. That level of hospitality really says everything.
Amazing location, outstanding service, and a warm, generous atmosphere. I will definitely come back, and I highly recommend this hotel to anyone who wants to stay centrally in Venice while enjoying truly exceptional service.

DDonena WilliamsThis hotel is obviously Old however it is comfortable. I can’t compare it to any of the other hotels there as I haven’t stayed at the others but I will say it has no lift and I was a little concerned how we would get out in the fire. The hallways are long and go round and round like a rabbits Warren.
My overall stay was pleasant and the best thing about it was the awesome breakfast. If you do decide to stay ask for the front terrace rooms I believe they’re not so claustrophobic.

GGuest UserThe location is excellent. just beside Venezia Santa Lucia station, which made it very convenient for travel. Check-in was smooth, and they offered complimentary luggage storage, which was a nice touch. I didn’t get to try the included breakfast since I had to leave early for my packed itinerary. However, the elevator doesn’t reach the top floor where our room was, so we had to carry our luggage up the stairs. Unfortunately, both my brother and I got bed bug bites during our stay, which was very disappointing. The place has a great location, but cleanliness and maintenance really need improvement.

DDan_LNazionale Hotel is certainly not recommended for family with small kids/ older folks, or if you have heavy luggages. There’s no lift and the first thing when you reach the hotel, you will be greeted with a steep flight of stairs. Our room is 189, going to the room, you will encounter another few flights of stairs, like a maze, before reaching the room. The enclosure of the shower place cannot be closed properly, means water will definitely spill out. Staff wise, not too helpful even if they notice your luggages, you just need to sweat it out. For older folks, etc, unless you get a room nearer, but still have to overcome the first flight of stairs. For younger people, this hotel should be ok.

Hotel Malibran may be rated three stars, but the service is top-tier. Everyone, from the concierge to housekeeping, kitchen staff, and waiters, works with genuine warmth. You’re greeted with smiles, and you can tell they’re proud of what they do.
Special thanks to Salvo at the front desk. He’s a standout. Speaks multiple languages, including Chinese. Professional, patient, and incredibly helpful. He gave me a personalized trip plan, listed local spots worth visiting, and never got tired of my questions. Rare to find this level of care.
The room: clean, compact, and comfortable. Good enough for working online without any issues.
The included breakfast is decent: breads, cheeses, hams, and cold cuts. Drink choices are solid too.
The hotel is close to Rialto Bridge, which means the area’s prices can be high, but the convenience and access are unbeatable.
Would absolutely stay again. The staff alone make it worth it.
