Kata Silver Sand

Everything was great, a cozy and beautiful room. The location was excellent, just a 5-minute walk across the road to the beach.

This hotel is a top choice in the Kata area for its price point. It has a balcony for smoking, spacious rooms, and is conveniently located within walking distance to the night market and surfing spots. The cleaning staff are all very friendly, and there's also a swimming pool.

Not a bad hotel. Everything you need is nearby. The room is large. It comes with two umbrellas and two beach towels. Huge refrigerator. Balcony with two armchairs and a table. There was also a safe. I didn't turn on the TV, so I can't tell you about the channels, and we didn't have breakfast. The price is fantastic. The pool is small, but the water is warm.

I arrived at Phuket Airport late at night and stayed here for one night. It's a great option if you arrive late and just need an affordable place to sleep, especially since breakfast is included. They have a small swimming pool, and while the breakfast selection isn't extensive, it's decent enough. The staff were friendly and always smiling. My room was on the second floor, and there's no elevator. Carrying my luggage down the narrow stairs during checkout required some caution. However, a staff member helped bring my bags to the door when I checked in. The hotel itself feels a bit old, but the room and bedding were clean, and the water pressure in the bathroom was good. Considering the price, it's a perfectly fine place to stay for a night.

Endless long hallway. The pool is small, and breakfast is mediocre. The room itself is okay. No elevator and no one helps with luggage up the stairs! The cleaning ladies are sweet and friendly, thank you to them.

We complained several times about the air conditioning not working properly, but nothing was done about it. There were lots of tiny ants in the room, and some bugs that crawled on me at night! After we complained, the room was treated, but that didn't improve our experience and we checked out of the hotel. They did refund us for the remaining night, so I appreciate that. The breakfast was decent. It's a 15-minute walk to the beach because of a wall that runs along it, and it takes about 15 minutes to walk around it, whether you go left or right.

Stayed with my family, the kids loved the pool and the breakfasts. Our room was far from the pool and reception, and the view from the window wasn't great. For a three-star hotel, it was okay.
