StayEasy Pietermaritzburg

Im very disappointed in the false information stated in the feed back letter received from Sta easy pmb regarding my daughters recent stay at the hotel. She found live worms in the bathroom and checked out early the next morning the 14th of Feb 2026 feeling disgusted. She never took a shower or have breakfast at the hotel due the the worms. A few days later I phoned Michael to complain snd he immediately stated on his own that he will give me a refund. Take note it was his idea and not mine. Upon investigation I then received a letter statong that I was the one who requested Refund from Michael and wait for this.....I was told that the hotel uses an independent pest control company and did not make any findings and wont be refunding me.

Well situated hotel, easy to get on and off the highway. Very clean well mauntained hotel. The staff are friendly and helpful. Rooms are very clean and kept like that by the staff. Breakfast is great. The outside pool area is great to relax and eady to walk through to Liberty Mall. Excellent!!

I was disappointed from 12-14 July i was accommodated at Stay easy there we no tea in the room no bathing set only one towel. even when we go to the reception they told us the house keeping staff will be available on the following day, but they failed to put tea and bathing set.

The front staff was not as friendly, the room was stuffy with no complimentary water. The hotel doesn’t serve lunch or dinner and it doesn’t provide airport transfer. At some point I couldn’t gain access using the key card and the staff members were unwilling to assist. For the price they charge it is not worth it. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone.
