Fairfield Inn & Suites St. Petersburg Clearwater

I have read some of the other reviews and almost let them deter me from staying here, but I am so glad I did not as I had a wonderful stay. I am a Nurse Practitioner and honestly a little OCD about cleanliness. my room, including carpet, was very clean and even the high traffic hallway area carpet were very clean. Breakfast is the basic Complimentary breakfast that you see these days: waffle, a couple of egg choices, a couple of sausage choices, cereal, breads and pastries, fruit, juices, etc. I stayed here for almost a week and honestly had to take time to personally compliment the gentleman that was taking care of the breakfast area, as I do not know that I have ever stayed at a hotel where the breakfast area was always kept so clean and fully stocked! You could always find this gentleman cleaning or filling something, no matter what time I went for breakfast. The same can be said for the hotel staff that was behind the counter both evening and during the daytime hours. Litterly every single person truly offered great customer service and as a whole I do not know if you can find a hotel anywhere that has nicer staff. I asked for daily service and even this aspect of my stay was amazing, as the room care lady was very pleasant and did a great job. As a single mother of a young child and a healthcare provider, I felt very safe in this clean hotel and I highly recommend this hotel if you are in the area
Avalon Hotel Downtown St. Petersburg

From the instant we arrived at the Avalon Hotel, we were made to feel right at home. Super friendly, helpful and genuinely nice front desk staff are the best first impression. Speaking of helpful, Jeff and Alicia in particular were over-the-top accommodating, firstly allowing us a late checkout, and secondly storing our bags until it was actually time for us to leave. Many more terrific things to mention: The beds were super comfy! Wine and champagne tasting in the evening! Access to the Hollander Hotel’s pool (huuuuge bonus) Access to the Hollander Hotel’s FREE shuttle (which was PERFECT for drop off and pick up at Tropicana Field) When (and it will be when) we return to St. Petersburg, the Avalon Hotel will be our home away from home!
Hollander Hotel - Downtown St. Petersburg

We enjoyed everything about this historic hotel: the room, the lobby chock full of art and references to its speak-easy past, the pastry shop, the bar, the comfy, covered front porch, the pool and fountains, food and drinks served poolside, the friendly staff, and the friendly guests we met. Also, the Hollander is perfectly located in St. Pete, being in the historic downtown district near my company headquarters and close to great destinations such as the Salvador Dali museum, Chihuly blown-glass gallery, and Morean arts center. I love historic downtowns and boutique hotels such as the Hollander. The rooms in historic hotels are often smaller than ones in chain hotels, but they more than compensate with their unique personalities and intimate atmospheres, which leave me with vivid memories of my stays in these sweet lodgings and the cities they call home.
Hilton St. Petersburg Carillon Park

Great hotel, one of the best!!!! As a Lifetime Diamond I find very few hotels that meet the level of service and ambiance that this Hilton has to offer!!! We had two servers that were very gracious and courteous during our week stay, Tracy Ann and Steve. All of the front desk staff were courteous and helpful, and demonstrated wonderful hospitality to all their guests.
