"Relaxed stay in central location to the north of Plymouth city centre. Hotel is modern, rooms a good size, serviced daily - a rarity nowadays. Restaurant is uninspiring and, frankly, does not cope with expected customer visits in spite of pre-payment. An improvement over last November, but needs some better organisation. The beers at the bar are a poor selection and unpleasant."
"The best hotel in this area, bar none, but it can only be reached by car. The front desk is friendly and the restaurant service is quite satisfying.
Remember to make reservations for restaurants and swimming pools, otherwise you may not have a seat"

"I had a good experience at Citadel House Hotel. The worker was really nice and flexible. The room and bathroom were clean and pretty. Location is really good too, near the port and the Hoe Park."
"Posizione eccellente, a pochi passi dalla spianata con il faro. Camere luminose, spaziose e molto pulite. Colazione a buffet, molto buona ed abbondante con una grande scelta. Da consigliare."
"In addition to the door code lock always has a problem, resulting in always afraid of being closed outside the door, the room is very good, that is, the heating is old, you need to pay attention, you have to restart it. The location is next to Hoe Park, and the famous lighthouse can be seen from the window."

Amazing
HHazelLovely, central hotel. Friendly, helpful staff who were very attentive. Room was large, comfy beds and lovely clean bathroom (with bath!). Highly recommended!
GGuest UserThe couple at the hotel are courteous to their guests. The room is neat, clean and comfortable, and the sound insulation is good. Although it is thin, it is overall very good. The oil painting has a little bit of a Greek feel to it. The dining room where breakfast is served has some unique furnishings.
With such a price for breakfast, I think it is well worth staying. Full marks
TTajul Islam05I have to admit, I wish I had used Leonardo's Hotels in the past, when I had the option to. But now I can't help but feel the regret of not discovering their chains earlier enough.
Anyway, that's by the by, but to say the hotel exceeded exceeded my expectations is an understatement. I mean, a part from the usual basic needs, the tea, the coffee, the milk for crying out loud, there were abundance of those. I was honestly extremely happy to see that given my stay was only for a day, that amount of supply was left to my disposal. I have stayed at branded chains who can't even get the basic right let alone go above and beyond.
Other key touches, the selection of pillows left on the bed, unlike some places where you have to make do with a rough night sleep if the pillow available does not suit your need, I had no such issue with Leonardo. The pillows were there, scattered on top of the bed, I found one that was comfortable and slept with no complaints. This is extra brownie points territory, Leonardo!
To conclude, will I stay at Leonardo again? Of course! At the time of booking, I only expected one thing: to stay for the night. But didn't expect the little touches to out exceed what I originally intended stay here for.
Wish I could stay for longer, thanks Leonardo Hotel, Plymouth!
AAn KhEverything was great in the hotel. The room for three persons is equipped with a private bathroom and toilet. Towels, soap, kettle, dishes, tea, coffee - everything was in the room. The TV was in a convenient location for viewing from all beds. The location is very comfortable for visiting the old and modern city. The way to the sea took 5-7 minutes of slow walking. At breakfast we felt like a royal family, everything was delicious and satisfying. )) We will definitely return.
NNeilJThe hotel's location was excellent, right in the heart of the city with easy access to all the major attractions. The room was clean and comfortable, and the staff were friendly and helpful. Overall, a great stay!
GGuest UserGreat location, just a few minutes from the train station. Despite looking like an old building, the rooms were comfortable with good views from the window. It's basically in the town centre so you can walk to the nearby attractions. One negative was that they wanted to charge us for a late check-out.
GGuest UserAnother fantastic stay, Ed the bar tender was so friendly and made me feel so welcome with being on my own, for such a young lad hes definately an asset to the hotel, and excellent customer service. Pippa and Boris both friendly on arrival and Steve and Casey still working hard and still manage to take time in saying hello. I have to say the rooms are always immaculate and the girls who clean are friendly and also work so hard.
See you in a couple of weeks 😀
JJWL TengExcellent location to get around Plymouth - short walk to the Hoe and the barbican. The friendly staff will allow you to leave your luggage there for pick up later after check out. Check in wasn’t smooth though - no one at reception and had to call many times before someone finally picked up to help me with check in, which also took a while. Room was spacious enough with a little kitchenette. Short taxi ride away from Plymouth station. Just 5 minutes away from Theatre Royal - very safe and short walk away after the musical ended late at night.
MMCUZZAI recently stayed at the Travelodge Plymouth and had a generally positive experience. The staff were friendly and welcoming, and the room was clean and well-maintained. The hotel is in a great location, making it easy to explore the city. However, if you're a light sleeper, be aware that rooms on the first floor can be quite noisy due to music from the bars below. If possible, request a higher floor for a quieter stay. Overall, a good option for a short stay in Plymouth.
