Cozy and comfortable structure, located in a strategic area in front of the Rectorate of the University of Porto, the Pensão França was really a very pleasant surprise. The friendly and helpful staff, a very high level of cleanliness, the comfort of the beds and the functionality of the bathroom made our stay truly unforgettable. The WI-FI signal is also excellent. A wide selection of restaurants in the area. Really recommendable

What was good:
Very central, everything worked well, nice view on the square, clean.
What was bad:
very loud outside, old furnishing and rooms.
All in all a good place to stay if you can sleep in a noisy environment.

The place is older, somewhat tired, and the shower is shared amongst the guests (which is an issue for some). Good location and price. Wifi was good. Must walk up a flight of stairs to get to the hotel.
