Porto Wine Hostel

Friendly, clean and welcoming hostel in beautiful part of Porto. Our double room was spotless and had a balcony that overlooked the square. The en-suite bathroom is modern and has all you need. All the staff are great, particularly Jane who looked after us really well. The entire hostel is clean throughout with well-equipped kitchen and the social area also has a piano, guitar and ukulele. The building has beautiful original features which have been sympathetically restored, including the winding staircase and antique traditional tiles on the outside. The theme of port wine is reflected all around the place with decorative wooden crates and old bottles. You can really feel you're in Oporto! And we loved the fact you can catch the historic no.18 tram which runs along the square and takes you to part of the coast. Thank you to the owner and all staff for such a memorable stay. A good place to get know new friends ! I made a lot of new friends here and they are just amazing people! . Very good for solo traveler! Special thank to luna, who’s make my stay so worth it ! The place is very clean and the kitchen have everything you need to Cook !

Being welcomed with a glass of Port wine for a night in Porto to see the Idles concert was enough to make a good first impression. A very friendly couple who welcomed us and gave us all the information. A comfortable room and a very beautiful and well decorated space. Well located and with good bars and restaurants nearby. I recommend and will be back.

Wine hostel is in a great location, close to many sight seeing spots, fun bars and restaurants. Staff is very friendly and the cleanliness of the hostel is great. You have to pay a city tax of 4 euros once you get there but other than that the hostel is very affordable for the accommodations you receive.

Super easy experience! They greet you with a little glass of Port, the rooms were very clean, and the people were very nice. There is a common space with a bar, kitchen, and it is located in a fun neighborhood. There is a very popular local bar directly outside the hostel that when I came back at 3am was still in full swing, but as long as you close your windows it is not a problem.

Comfortable, sparking clean ,safe, low cost accommodation in Porto town centre. Reception and bar open till midnight with controlled access if you want to stay out later. Helpful, good humoured staff that speak several languages. A well equipped , clean kitchen available for residents.

The staff were very friendly and helpful. The bar had lots of cheap port options to try. The rooms were all clean. The bathrooms were cleaned daily. Lock rental and towel rental were 2 euros each. I would stay here again :)

Perfect location and hospitality. Great spot to explore Porto from and easy to get to from Airport and train. Beautiful park right in front. They have generous common space and kitchen with a bar open til midnight. But you can also just bring your own wine and enjoy after sightseeing.

The hostel was very clean, has a full kitchen, and lockers in the room for your belongings. The hostel is in an EXCELLENT location. It can be loud depending on which room you get due to the local bars but my some ear plugs and you’ll be fine. Definitely recommend staying here!
