No words.... Has been a trip INSIDE a subway construction area .... And I am not kidding unfortunately. I have reserved a single room kind bed. At beginning the reception assigned me one room at 4th floor exactly in front of jackhammer operators, which made the same noises as in war scenario with 2 beds. Then after my immediate big complain reception have assigned me another room, #209. Different scenario : that was in front of a concrete grinding crane arrives from 8pm in the morning until 10pm in the evening. at 7am the noises of the vehicles began with the relative movement alarm and in the evening after 10pm the workers who hammer gradually finished at 1am in the night. all i have timed videos to prove my experience. I asked several times to assign me a room ON OTHER SIDE (that are outside the ”war operation area”) but answer was always _ ”SORRY SIR, THE ROOM ON BACKSIDE ARE FULL AND WE DO NOT HAVE SPACE AVAILABLE” . Today at check out I have asked a discount, as feedback the receptionist charged me 20EUR more for 2 peer juices I have got from minibar...... I do not know how to describe this experience, I have been many times in Intercontinental and I have been always satisfied.... BESIDE THIS LAST TRIP THAT IS REALLY SOMETHING I WANT TO FORGET Travellers' take extreme care going there !! At least until the subway works under room balcony are finished !!! Can not upload pictures the website tell me ”unable to lad” but I can sent ll of them separately

Exe Almada Porto

Charming and clean hotel room, did not find it noisy at all from street (excellent sound proofing), included a safe and minibar with reasonable prices. Had a lovely balcony door that opens to the street. We didn’t have breakfast in hotel, but it’s a great location for many trendy bars and restaurants. Used the gym (you can book slots to use) - pretty limited weights (doesn’t have proper clips on it as well) and no cleaning equipment in gym - so could improve on that. Overall we loved our stay!

We had a wonderful 4 nights in Porto staying at this gem of a hotel. Very boutique style nestled in the old town. Very close to all the key sightseeing attractions and a wide variety of delicious local restaurants. But still away from the crowds. Staff very friendly and knowledgeable. Fantastic Buffett breakfast. Interconnecting rooms for families. Small roof top bar has fantastic views over the city. Highly recommended.

We visited during a very quiet time for the hostel due to the pandemic however the hostel was beautiful with two really nice common spaces (one of which has a balcony with a view). The staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful with us - giving us some really good tips for our short stay in Porto. The double room was beautiful and really spacious - possibly the nicest hostel private room I've stayed in! Bathrooms were spacious and pristine. Free breakfast was the icing on the cake. Thanks Oporto Invictus, we really enjoyed our short stay!

Quite large hostel. It has many amenities but doesn’t really convey the hostel vibe. There isn’t really any common area aside for the kitchen and reception area as the huge inner garden is actually a restaurant. We have been kicked out the picnic tables multiple times even though our room is adjacent to the garden, we couldn’t even just sit and read without ordering anything. We were a bit disappointed by the welcoming drink activity as the staff just brought the people together, brought a pitcher of some cocktail and left us to entertain ourselves. The kitchen was quite dirty ever time we went as well. It seemed like the other people staying here didn’t really take care of it but it didn’t seem like anyone from the staff was going to check either. We stayed in a 4-bed room which was clean enough but kept the humidity inside a lot. The curtains and ceiling were dirty or moldy, not really sure. The place is ok, we were expecting more of a Selina.

Recently stayed here as part of my husbands 70th birthday, hotel kindly upgraded us to a deluxe room and there was a small cake waiting for us which was a lovely touch. The room was really lovely, only downside is that they only give you 1 free bottle of water per visit and only few pods for coffee machine which given it was a deluxe room a bit poor. However, apart from this small glitch, everything else we could not fault at the hotel. Bed was very comfortable, reception staff were very helpful in advising us on on areas to visit. Lovely continental breakfast and cooked one but not to order so on hot plates instead, local restaurants nearby which I would recomend are Solar Moinho de Vento & Meia Nau, which are both 5 mins walk away.

It's a bit of a walk up a rocky slope from the train station, but it's close, about 10 to 12 minutes away. If the carrier is heavy, it may be a bit difficult. It's about 5 to 10 minutes away from major hot spots, and it's small and clean. The wooden floor in the room and the tile floor in the bathroom were clean and nice to the touch, so I walked around barefoot. I was very tired at the end of the trip, but I quickly felt relieved after three warm showers. The welcome drink and homemade crepes for breakfast were also fun. The friendly female staff member gave me some recipes and gave my son a thumbs up, saying he looked like a professional chef. The bright smiles and greetings of the counter and restaurant staff are also impressive. It was a double room, and there was an extra bed similar to a sofa near the entrance, so I used it as both a bed and a sofa. I'm not sensitive to sound, so I think I could hear the sound of wheels rolling on the stone floor and the sound of rain all night long. I found this place in a hurry while traveling, and it was the cheapest with breakfast included, so I was most satisfied with the accommodations I stayed for 13 days. I've never written a review before, so I'm writing this review~
